Its an interesting one, and likely there are any number of reasons. Our success is the most obvious answer, coupled with the tribal attitudes of the past. The east coast/west coast debate comes into it, as does the regional nature of almost all other clubs who might have an in-built jealousy of the biggest club in the country. The way both OF teams dominate the finances and decision making will also lead to a dislike of us.

If that is true, its a dangerously unguarded comment to make, especially for a lawyer. If he has a suspicion, or evidence to back it up, he should be making it known to the police.

@tannochsidebear I am surprised to hear the suggestion that Paul Murray and TBK are behind Smith's takeover bid. But then, I am also surprised and confused by the apparent motivations and conclusions that Smith's consortium appears to have drawn. Yet again it is us, the fans, who are shafted through spin and misinformation.

Agreed. It identifies their main concerns, but these don't match up with the actions they appear to have taken.

I am very confused. This begs more questions than ever. Why not just engage with Green and ask these questions in a normal business manner? Why all the "stand aside" posturing?
