If Ally ever does manage to be loved again then it will be mostly the older generation who witnessed him on the park who'll forgive and forget. Our young generation of fans who only saw him as manger and are now seeing him continue to take a (big) wage after 'chucking it' will be more reluctant to forgive and forget.

I think he'd rather be here than at Spurs, why would he throw away all that is golden for some club who can't boast a history like Rangers? Sure the money might sway him if Rangers can't pay him the same amount which I doubt. He'll be here for a long long time I'm sure, this is his home.

Sky will do what they think makes money no argument..the BBC will just support England and deprive the rest of the UK who pay the same. BBC means f@ck everyone but England that's what it is.

Watching Rangers is like watching Barca at the top of their game...yeah it's against less quality than Barca ever met (with the exception of the 6-1 v dodgy history FC) Rangers are like Barca in a way, dominating the opposition a joy to watch and very special too for entertainment value. I'm not the slightest bit worried about meeting any side in the world right now, maybe Barca would have something to say about that though. Bring any side on and Rangers will wipe the floor with them. (Scottish sides)

Exactly my point, not sure you know this Pete but coverage from a public funded channel ignores the game in Scotland, a battle cry during the 2014 referendum was 'better together' folks in Scotland pay the same as Welsh people and Irish lacks but in reality it's all about England here in the UK. It sucks really.

I'm not a fan at all of the programme in fact I detest it, I did watch it last week though just to see what they had to say about our resurgence - to be fair they were very complimentary about us. Alas, they are not big enough to show another chapter in this journey due to ignorance. F@ck them! Many thousands of fans who can't make the game for various reasons wanting an insight and analysts on the game let down by those from Pacific Quay yet again.

Quite a lot of clubs, even the rich ones take loans, it might not sit comfortably with some Bears (me included) but it's the way things are now sadly. If it brings us success then so be it.

The 'Sandy Jardine Stand' is fine by me, but the fact it was the crooked board of the time who put that up irks me some.

Scotland has a history of abysmal failure wrapped up in 'glorious failure' they have a wiki page on it. I can't see how this 'glorious failure' can be avoided now tbh it really all comes down to beating the World Champions and that might happen then we lose to Poland...you could write a book on Scotland and football all you get here is Celtic '67 .

I pays my money you dont eejit... If you have actually anything to say other than barbed comments then find them somewhere else to post mate! What I meant to say was go post your crap somewhere else.

A draw against Germany will give us hope as long as RoI and Poland share the points in the last game.. RoI will beat Georgia and Poland will easily dispatch Gibralter as you say. So a win against Germany isn't required although it would be something to celebrate. The key is beating Poland added to shared points with Germany. Defeat on Monday means failure though. There is a play-off of course if we finish 3rd in the table - not worked than one out yet!

They go hand in Hand no more than in Glasgow right now. WATP! We've waited too long for this. A journey that has taken time after time yet we still follow on. A journey which has been flawed by those in charge. A journey that has been laborious with some joy and lot's of pain. A journey which carries some baggage regards where our well spent money goes and who to. So much money wasted within our club over these sorry years, yet still some more wasted on others who should never have been anywhere near the club who will remain untried.

It's another fantastic day to be a Bear, but the thought of Super taking doesn't sit.
-
Glad you got that in the correct order

Strachan said before the game 'it wasn't a must win' he was wrong about that, and it doesn't actually help to gee up the squad by coming out with a pre-match comment like that, does it? I've looked at the upcoming games that are left, and worked it out if results go the way they should then Scotland won't qualify even if the beat Poland at Hampden even if the final game between Poland and RoI finishes all square we lose out by a point. We need at least a draw on Monday to have any chance, a defeat will mean Scotland won't be going anywhere next summer.

The Renaissance Men – Rangers v Raith Rovers FT Rangers 5 Raith Rovers 0.
Bearman replied to JohnMc's topic in Rangers Chat
Another thoroughly enjoyable read, very educational too... Though I do need to take issue with one small part of it... Our defence has a lot to be proud of this season just 5 goals conceded in eight games...also that goal we lost last week against QoS was the first we had lost in the 2nd half all season from open play. Keep up the excellent work JMc -
If there is a predictor game out there then maybe someone could direct us to it.

Glad I missed that game now...

That lot along with the SPL tried to strip us of trophies and failed but they have since denied us trophies by throwing us into where no true professional wants to play. While the P.Drome has been getting millions spent on it, the b listed Ibrox Stadium has been neglected and allowed to fall into a terrible state. Rangers fans will demand answers from those who are supposed to be looking after us.

Edit: I'll return to this subject when it's actually up and running I'm not sure it's live yet?? I know we already have the 'Bluebears54's Gersnet Prediction League' but this is a little different. http://en.uclfantasy.uefa.com/CleverTV/en/uefa/uefa/15813/entryhome.do You can also win prizes courtesy of Play Station too. The idea is to select a squad of 15 players with a 100m budget from all the teams competing through the group stages all the way to next years final. Two Goalkeepers Five Defenders Five Midfielders Three Forwards It's along the same lines as those familiar with Fantasy Premier League, although you have guys like Messi, Ronaldo and Muller to choose from. If anyone is interested then I can create a league (I hope!) for us all to join in...please let me know in this thread.

Thought it be better to post this in Rangers Chat for the convenience of all Bears... Social media users have been warned they may be prosecuted for contempt of court if they make prejudicial comments about the Rangers court case. The Crown Office issued the statement just a day after former owners Charles Green, Craig Whyte and ex-administrator David Whitehouse appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court. They have been charged in connection with the acquisition of Rangers assets in 2012. In a tweet, the Crown Office said: "Please note that the Rangers case remains live under Contempt of Court Act and nothing should be published that might prejudice the case." A key part of the contempt law is preventing the publication of material which could influence a jury and jeopardise the chances of an accused receiving a fair trial. Those found guilty of contempt of court may be sent to prison. http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/news/13645273.Crown_Office_makes_Twitter_warning_over_comments_on_Rangers_court_case/?

Anyone else think Rangerstv is a poorly implemented service?
Bearman replied to calscot's topic in Rangers Chat
I remember the days before all this technology...if I couldn't make the game I sometimes relied on BBC Scotland's radio exclusive of last 30 mins commentary on Saturday afternoons (this was later extended to full 2nd half) coverage, in those days all games kicked off at the same time so you could only hope it was the Rangers game that was to be broadcast. It was either us or them, me and my pal walked it and back to Ibrox (with 'lift over' to the game) rather than risk the sellik game being on and missing out completely. As for phones, this was in the house (if you were lucky enough have one) and you had to ask your Da if it was okay to use it, and he always said 'No'. RTV is a lot better than what us auld yins had to put up with back in the days of scabbies and nits. -
Raith complain to SFA over possible rule breaches regarding Ryan Hardie
Bearman replied to BEARGER's topic in Rangers Chat
Shit poor Raith wanting to be 'the good guys' standing up to 'the bad guys' pathetic little club who's only claim to fame remains beating the filth at Ibrox in a cup final. Hope Warbs brings Hardie on at 5-0 to rub their little noses in it.
