  1. A union of trust between King and Murray could pull it off Couldn't resist using dB's offsite smiley, apologies Zappa.
  2. Off topic, sorry in advance...dB what do you mean by that?
  3. Warbs said this about Eustace..."People like John Eustace are few and far between, people like John are ultra-professional on and off the pitch. They are great role models. If you look at his record and the win ratio when John's playing, it's really important." He sees something in the player and that's good enough for me
  4. Warburton does...and that's all I care about
  5. Doesn't mean he can't play on into his 40's does it? Besides...winning caps for England is far more difficult.
  6. Maybe Eustace took longer than expected to get back to full fitness? Maybe he's worked really really hard to get there, and that it would have been wrong not to offer him something? If MW thought a lot of him 4 months ago, he obviously hasn't changed his mind since. Some players can still produce at the top of their game into their 40's you know.
  7. Rangers boss retains final say over signings after McParland arrival Video: http://sport.stv.tv/football/clubs/rangers/1330765-rangers-boss-retains-final-say-over-signings-after-mcparland-arrival/ Rangers manager Mark Warburton insists he will retain the final say over signings after welcoming the arrival of Frank McParland as the club’s new head of recruitment. Warburton said that while it would always be his decision over which players to bring to the club, he had "absolute faith" in McParland's judgement and they would work together to identify the right players for the club. Former Liverpool academy director McParland arrives after leaving his role as sporting director at Burnley. Speaking on the day that former Barcelona and Man City youth Gui Assulin joined Rangers as a trialist, Warburton said: "I have absolute faith in his judgement in terms of players and absolute faith in his feedback, which is really important. "There's no point someone of Frank's calibre looking at players four, five, six times and then me getting over there and saying I'm not so sure. "It will always be, it has to be, my say, for obvious reasons with me picking the team, that goes without saying, but it's about opinion, listening to that opinion, sharing ideas, sharing knowledge and experience. "At the end of the day I trust his judgement, he knows what I want and I've got no problem with that, I've got 100% belief in him." Warburton revealed that McParland will have a remit to search round the world for players, and said that he sees the appointment as "a big step in the right direction" for the club. "I'm delighted to get someone of Frank's calibre to come to the club," he said. "He's recognised as one of the best in the business. His track record speaks for itself and we've worked very long and hard to get someone of Frank's calibre to come here."
  8. http://sport.stv.tv/football/clubs/rangers/1330750-former-barcelona-and-man-city-youth-gai-assulin-training-with-rangers/? The 24-year-old Israeli attacker was pictured at Murray Park and took part in the session with Mark Warburton's squad as they prepare for the Scottish Championship clash with Queen of the South. Assulin was one of a number of players to be christened 'the new Messi' http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/picturegalleries/11243483/Five-players-who-were-once-the-next-big-thing-at-Barcelona.html during his time at Barcelona's academy and worked under Pep Guardiola but failed to make a first team appearance. "I don't like being compared to Messi," said Assulin in 2011, amid comparisons with the Argentine. "I can never be him. He is the best player in the world; I'm a youngster trying to learn the secrets of football." The Israeli impressed for Barcelona's B side, making 67 times under Luis Enrique. However, he failed to make the breakthrough into the first-team at the Camp Nou. Assulin was also a promising star for the Israeli youth teams, collecting 22 caps for the country's under-21 side. A move to Manchester City in 2010 failed to work out and he departed the Ethiad Stadium without playing for the first team following a brief loan spell at Brighton. Assulin returned to Spain to play for Racing Santander before moving on to Hercules on loan. A move to Real Mallorca followed but he departed in August and remains a free agent.
  9. If Rangers have to pay for that crook it's a double whammy for all of us...I have faith in the law of our realm, it simply won't be allowed to happen. Green in Bar-L will happen though.
  10. Nope! Strachan must go! Whoever is is charge of who gets the Scotland managers post must go too. Let's get a real manager in who will make a difference. Lets get Walter back...he got sidetracked before but that won't happen again
  11. Will Rangers open up the game again here in Scotland? Don't know about that but we'll certainly put a few joints out of place. Ugly bastards with green and grey will enter the fray and make sure not though.
  12. Scotland win last group game 6-0... Colin Stein's record of 4 goals for Scotland in a match thankfully remains intact though. Poland bt RoI which was pleasing too.
  13. N.I. would have qualified from our group and they have players supposedly inferior to Scotland...it's down to the manager and how he sees the stregnths as opposed the weaknesses in his side and the best way to utilise that. Tough group my arse...we lost to Georgia ffs.
  14. Could have been for the wrong reasons they stopped him though...Billionaire involved in Rangers...oh no, we won't have that!
  15. World Champions losing 0-1 to Ireland after 69% - 31% possession stats!!! As for Scotland...why have we got a right footed back playing on the left when there's a guy (Wallace) who plays proper left back in a rich vein of form? And without showing bias...why was the most consistent goalscorer thus far (Griffiths) not an automatic choice? Our national team are a joke, too much loyalty shown to the tried and trusted, a good manager would have the ability to select on form Scots instead of the usual suspects. Scott Brown is never Scotland material, an arse of a player who should never be near the jersey never mind being captain, what a mess we find ourselves in, it just epitomises it with him as captain! Fletcher the former Man U bloke has never done it for his country either, yet Strachan still picks him because of his 'background', Hutton is allegedly our best right back who struggles in a poor Aston Villa side, Maloney is not fit to don the shirt, Naismith regardless of his hard work and kicking folk all over the place isn't good enough and the other Fletcher who bought himself a Lamborghini playing for a team fighting relegation every year is awful.
  16. Rangers and Celtic are bigger than any club in England. If we entered their league Rangers would finish in first place and the mhanks would shade Man U for runners-up. Chelsea, Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool would fight out a place for a CL spot. Of course we wouldn't win it every year, but we'd end up the most successful over the course of time.
  17. Totally agree...our recent history has shown without the 'interference' of fans we would be in a real state right now, long may it continue, we ain't out the woods yet but we're getting there. Keep up the good work mate, I depend on guys like you.
  18. Comparing the current board to the past lot is like comparing a good sirloin steak to pot noodle. Nothing wrong with questioning the steak?
  19. I didn't like the 'oldco' comments King came out with a couple of weeks ago...all talk no action comes to mind, I also don't like the 'we will challenge for the title' comments either, especially when we are no where near deciding where we are right now on the park (St Johnstone dispatched with us with ease). One thing I liked was their choice of manager, that has been the one massive thing I've been happy about regards our board. A magic hat like no other.
  20. And you decided to put in into Rangers Chat because the media in this country are against Rangers? Your posts are getting weirder and weirder and I'm getting worried about you:touche:
  21. We are a small United Kingdom within which we are even smaller, are you SNP Germinal?
  22. The fact we are signing players with buy-out contracts is very encouraging to say at least... If some club anywhere in the world were prepared to pay for a Rangers man, and I'm talking serious money. big bucks then we are on the right track.
