http://rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/saints-semi-confirmed/? RANGERS Petrofac Cup semi-final clash with St Mirren will be played at Ibrox Stadium on Saturday 28 November with a 12.15pm kick-off. The game has been moved for television purposes and to avoid a clash with the scheduled Championship game between the Light Blues and Dumbarton on the original date of Saturday 14 November. The match will see the first cup meeting between the two sides since March 2010 when Rangers sensationally won the Scottish League Cup with only nine men. With Kevin Thomson and Danny Wilson dismissed, it was up to current Ibrox striker Kenny Miller to incredibly find a winning goal to ensure the trophy headed back to Ibrox in the most dramatic fashion. Ticket information for the tie will be confirmed in due course.

If there is one criticism of our squad, then it is this...we'll need a couple like that for next season in particular.

I'd like to see from Rangers players what ALL good teams do...surround the ref in protest at such challenges, they don't need to manhandle him just shout into his face, even if it means taking a yellow for him, Oduwa gets let down when his team-mates just walk away as if it doesn't matter.
-
Haha...Stubbs indeed mate, him and Mowbray being one of the same tripped me up there.
-
So if you are a non-Scot who plays for a Scottish club on loan you can kick the shit out of him or try to break his ankle? It's Burchill who'll find himself dragged through the coal if the SFA are serious about 'kicking racism out'

Sacking the manager has obviously rang alarm bells, sometimes the guy coming in boosts the players in situ, but they lost under the new manager to Hearts who aren't exactly setting the heather on fire up there. I want them to finish bottom (and they have some odds against) because they deserve so. When Rangers were thrown out of the defunct spl DU were 'fancied' to take our place in a battle with Aberdeen, I never bought into that for one minute. DU going down in exchange for us this season would be Karma for every Rangers fan on the planet.

I can't imagine any organisation (sadly) not including them...it's all over everything in every walk of life. As you say Rab, it's not worth getting involved in, last year yes, when it wasn't infested. Gersnet was a finalist last year but the easily infested internet is a haven for weirdos and those with a mis-placed youth...sad really. Fine statement Frankie.

Moanie faced Petty Houston's Falkirk side saw their hopes of 2nd place dented by Torn faced ugly bassa Mowbray's Dundee Hibs after losing 0-1 at home... It's a shoot-out by those two on who'll meet Shit faced Rangers hater Mikko Paatelainens Scumdee Utd in the play-offs come May. This will only happen if the 'Supersheep' continue their demise and end up finishing bottom. F*ck the whole lot of them...they deserve everything they get.

Ross County, Hamilton and Dundee are in the 'coveted' top six now...very exciting.

Rangers kids benefiting from Eustace - Rob Kiernan RANGERS defender Rob Kiernan believes that the experience of imminent signing John Eustace will prove a valuable asset to the squad. Ibrox manager Mark Warburton revealed on Thursday that Eustace was close to a deal after training with the club for several months in a bid to prove his fitness. The 35-year-old former Watford and Derby captain will join a young squad and Kiernan believes everyone else can benefit from his know-how. Kiernan said: “John’s a great guy to have round the place. He has great experience at a high level. I think he’ll be good for the young players with his knowledge of the game.” Rangers have been doing very well in the Ladbrokes Championship without Eustace, having won their first nine games. http://www.scotsman.com/sport/football/spfl-lower-divisions/rangers-kids-benefiting-from-eustace-rob-kiernan-1-3919621?#axzz3om8pHxih Sometimes it doesn't mean a signing is just for his ability on the park but more to do with what he does off it as Rob Kiernan points out in the above article. In saying that...he'll be good on the park too at the ripe old age of 36 I'm thinking.

Bricks being put in place at a sensible pace for next season and beyond, the positive moves is more like a dream to me, I have to keep pinching myself to make sure it isn't.

We shouldn't be letting types like that into Auchenhowie folk could get the wrong impression, there should be some kind of dress code for visitors.

Moonbeams was a common word used on here before...the Oldco revival talk smacks of the same. There is no way that will happen, absolutely, it's my opinion and I'm sticking by it. DK is just following the previous behaviour of others, fighting talk sells tickets. Leave the talking to the players on the park I say. One day the Oldco might rise from the ashes but winning 55 is more important than anything else and DK is just being foolish bringing that up. -
Former Barcelona and Man City youth Gai Assulin training with Rangers
Bearman replied to Bearman's topic in Rangers Chat
Hope this guy Gai takes to the club and the Scottish climate and Rangers are delighted with him. He's 24, a good age for someone coming to a new club looking for a fresh start, a complete mystery of a player where we are concerned arriving with a very good pedigree. Fingers crossed this works out. Foreigners can be hit and miss at times. -
