A stupid minority f**king it up for everybody else...you don't see the really big clubs fans behaving like that. Man City fans are admirable in my book...simply booing the CL anthem gets them all the air time they want at no expense to the club. Barca and Real fans are just happy to see their teams take turns in who's best.

Neil Doncaster has floated the idea of enlarging the top flight to 14 teams

I actually made an arse of what I meant to say by that bit, sorry about that. What I meant to say was 3 non-old firm games would be less cost to 1 Old Firm game. Hope that clears that wee bit up? -

I'm only putting what I think is true...not disagreeing with you in any way or as you put it "for the sake of it" "Vague" "Obtuse" I believe that 1 OF match doesn't cost to the home club more than what 3 non OF games cost, you believe in something that differs, hats off to you. No need to be rattled though. -

There is also the costs to take into consideration which no-one knows nothing about...1 OF game to 3 non OF games...it's all about the money and what the home club actually takes home. -

These are your musings? You could be right but I'm not sure about that. 6 and half a dozen. -

On your figures 3k for OF... 1k x 3 for non OF makes it even...so nothing to see here. Except that the figures you quote could be misleading -

Nonsense...three home games as against either Rangers/Celtic would be more than what you are trying to say. -
The coverage (particularly from BBC Scotland) was intensified from day one...C**t** were CL material then Europa League contenders then....silence. Now time to focus on the negatives of RFC if they may.

I can't imagine 'fans' being enticed with that offer! But then again, Newcastle fans are a bit different from any fan who wants to follow their team. Cheap tickets and sell your soul seems to be the order of the day where Ashley is concerned, and mind don't forget to buy your cheap kit on the way out. I have no sympathy for Newcastle Utd supporters...they have done hee haw in ridding their club of this obnoxious man. -
MARK WARBURTON has laughed off Alan Stubbs’ attempts to gain a psychological edge in the Championship title race after he claimed Hibernian are getting into the minds of the Rangers squad. The Easter Road boss was this week named Manager of the Month for guiding his side on an impressive run of form that has seen them whittle down Rangers’ advantage at the top of the table. Rangers are three points in front of their promotion rivals ahead of the visit of Morton this weekend as they look to maintain their lead going into the crunch clash with Stubbs’ side on December 28. And, when asked about the comments from his Capital counterpart, Warburton said: “Haven’t sleep for weeks… If they are mind games, then I think psychologists can retire and move on. Far from it, it’s a just a bit of banter I’m sure. “No [the players don’t speak about Hibs]. Seriously, there’s no fuss from our point of view. Our focus is Rangers. "All we are thinking about is Morton this weekend. When we get that one of out of the way, we will move on from there. “There is no point looking at a game on the 28th if we lose two games in the meantime. “You just have to focus on your next opponent and hopefully getting three points with a god performance.” Before the top two in the table do battle in the final encounter of the year, there are key fixtures to come for both clubs in the Championship. While Warburton’s side face the Ton tomorrow and then have a trip to Falkirk next weekend, Hibs will host the Bairns on Saturday and then welcome Queen of the South. There are still plenty of twists and turns to come in the second tier title tussle but Warburton insists his squad will continue to keep the focus firmly on themselves and not worry about their promotion rivals. He said: “It (Hibs results) doesn’t matter. All you can focus on in your performance in the next game. The focus must be on Rangers. “I’m sure Hibs and Falkirk and all these teams would say the same about themselves. “We have to make sure we train and prepare well. That is where our focus is. “If our training dips, then there is an inquest. But we have trained really well this week. “With the game being cancelled last week, we are looking forward to the game and hopefully a packed Ibrox. “Why would we [speak about Hibs]? I use that word respect and it is no lack of respect to any team. But our focus is here. If other teams want to talk about Rangers, fantastic.” http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/sport/rangers/14138643.Mark_Warburton_brushes_off_Alan_Stubbs__mind_games_as_Ibrox_squad_remains_focused_on_the_Championship_job_in_hand/?

Okay bud...Ashley's a Tory B@stard -
...did the 'always cheated' make in Europe this season? They lost out on the 'bumper' pay-out that comes with qualification to the CL group stages (again!). I don't know what was on offer for points gained in the Europa League but they surely lost out big time due to just 3 draws in 6 games? In the season before Rangers are back in the big time seems to me an open chance to 'stay ahead' of the enemy has been lost. How much did they accumulate from their 'European Quest' this year?

Just a personal observation...but the SD shops aren't customer friendly, trying to walk through the store due to stocks and stocks with hardly any space is difficult...also that 'smell' of foosty clothes (you know that smell) fills the shop. Reminds me of the old retailer 'What Everyone Wants' cheap goods and not worth a penny. Cashley's kingdom will come crashing down at the loss of cheap jobs only. -

Sorry! I meant to add...the teams meeting in the 'Regional' League cup groups don't meet each other in the league fixtures until after Xmas...so ie 2 OF games before the turn of the year in the League Cup then 2 league fixtures thereafter, same goes for every club in every league...pretty sure the 'league fixtures computer' can work that out -

I should add that the League Cup tournament starts around September the same time as the CL and Europa Leagues, the week before maybe or the week after, if our clubs have a real interest by then in such leagues then they can treat the competition with contempt as top clubs do in England and field 'weakened' sides, this would give the less quality sides a chance and also give the clubs playing European competition the opportunity to blood youth (as they do in England) Seems the best way forward for me. Starting the League Cup in July is just ridiculous! -

Not at all...the revamped League cup is regional based and everyone seems happy with it. The 'Old Firm' would be in together every year in the group stages as would Hibz and Hertz in theirs...the Dundee clubs would also meet twice along with every other 'derby' in the land. With the prospect of TWO teams progressing from the groups, they could meet each other again in the knock-out stages. Television would still have the 4 OF derbies along with the 4 Edinburgh meetings plus the prospect of more in the knockouts. -
Probably not....they also won 3-2 at the P.Drome v Malmo then went on to lose 0-2 in Sweden so that still counts as zero wins I reckon

Transfer Deadline Day: Michael O'Halloran signs until 2020
Bearman replied to der Berliner's topic in Rangers Chat
Can't quite get to grips with Warbs reaction to a simple question - he's "amazed" and "bemused" by recent reports linking the club with a move for Dundee striker Greg Stewart? Every club in England are linked with Tom, Dick and Harry every single day and the managers just laugh it off! I know journo's up here are arses but you must calm down Mark. -
They'll be frantically looking through the rule book as we speak

Apparently the Dumbarton bus failed it's MOT and had to be towed away...It will now be replaced with an even 'dodgier' Greenock version.
