There is also the costs to take into consideration which no-one knows nothing about...1 OF game to 3 non OF games...it's all about the money and what the home club actually takes home.

MARK WARBURTON has laughed off Alan Stubbs’ attempts to gain a psychological edge in the Championship title race after he claimed Hibernian are getting into the minds of the Rangers squad. ...did the 'always cheated' make in Europe this season? They lost out on the 'bumper' pay-out that comes with qualification to the CL group stages (again!). I don't know what was on offer for points gained in the Europa League but they surely lost out big time due to just 3 draws in 6 games? In the season before Rangers are back in the big time seems to me an open chance to 'stay ahead' of the enemy has been lost. How much did they accumulate from their 'European Quest' this year?

Just a personal observation...but the SD shops aren't customer friendly, trying to walk through the store due to stocks and stocks with hardly any space is difficult...also that 'smell' of foosty clothes (you know that smell) fills the shop. Reminds me of the old retailer 'What Everyone Wants' cheap goods and not worth a penny. Cashley's kingdom will come crashing down at the loss of cheap jobs only.

Sorry! I meant to add...the teams meeting in the 'Regional' League cup groups don't meet each other in the league fixtures until after Xmas...so ie 2 OF games before the turn of the year in the League Cup then 2 league fixtures thereafter, same goes for every club in every league...pretty sure the 'league fixtures computer' can work that out

I should add that the League Cup tournament starts around September the same time as the CL and Europa Leagues, the week before maybe or the week after, if our clubs have a real interest by then in such leagues then they can treat the competition with contempt as top clubs do in England and field 'weakened' sides, this would give the less quality sides a chance and also give the clubs playing European competition the opportunity to blood youth (as they do in England) Seems the best way forward for me. Starting the League Cup in July is just ridiculous!

Not at all...the revamped League cup is regional based and everyone seems happy with it. The 'Old Firm' would be in together every year in the group stages as would Hibz and Hertz in theirs...the Dundee clubs would also meet twice along with every other 'derby' in the land. With the prospect of TWO teams progressing from the groups, they could meet each other again in the knock-out stages. Television would still have the 4 OF derbies along with the 4 Edinburgh meetings plus the prospect of more in the knockouts.

Probably not....they also won 3-2 at the P.Drome v Malmo then went on to lose 0-2 in Sweden so that still counts as zero wins I reckon
