  1. I only watched the last 20 mins of that game...Stubbs was raging with some of the decisions going against his side, especially the penalty call. His side pummelled Falkirk and looked purposeful...still a dangerous opponent and not to be ignored, at least not until we beat them again in March and seal the title.
  2. ...And here's me thinking ALL the hammer throwers play in Scotland, I'm only going by what Souness said way back when he played up here.
  3. I thought Stokes went to Hibz? He wasn't even on the bench, they could definitely do with a striker.

  5. Big Derek when playing up front as a striker caused mayhem for the opposition. He was not a bad central defender as well. Jim Forrest or Ally McCoist??...Forrest for his 145 in 3 and a half years...and Ally for his 355 in fifteen years.
  6. If I was a billionaire with money to burn I'd get us a couple of sensational players to start with and throw two fingers at the watching media...then again if only Carlsberg made boardroom decisions at Ibrox eh?
  7. I'd like to explain my reason for pushing this point. Rangers have been very successful due to only one thing - the fans! Rangers reached heights without tv money, these heights were reached through the backing of the fans on the terraces and the will of the players. Now we have the same thing but are running at a loss? I'd like to know why this is the case after billionaire Dave King took charge?
  8. ...any loss isn't fantastic Pete? Where am I missing on this point? Never mind the previous millions!
  9. I've been led in the hope (regardless of the losses) that he's keeping his money to not so much as to spend big, but to place his faith in MW and splash a few quid on his advice. Hope Warbs isn't going to hold back though, if he sees a player(s) for next season that will fit his jigsaw at a hefty price then King has to back him, because of what he announced on his takeover:) If these 'onerous contracts' or whatever they're called prevent this then I'll be very disappointed next season.
  10. Onerous contracts.., is this money being screwed out the club and what are they? Also...Are players like Miller Shiels Wallace and Law earning more than Waghorn Tavernier Holt and Halliday? And how much more is it if anything ? Will off-loading the first 4 enable us to bring in players of the quality of the 2nd four thus run at a profit? I didn't realise our average attendance was 44,000? That's more than most in Britain never mind here.
  11. Our old friend Rangers hater supreme enjoyed his night out at a hate filled Tannadice Park. His report failed to mention songs of praise for the deeds of terrorists of which there were plenty? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/35259382 Time this man was sent 'home'
  12. That word has become very transparent amongst Rangers fans of late
  13. Can someone explain to me and others with no clue on how a football club running with losses of £500,000 is nothing to be concerned about? We are the best supported club in the land with an average of 30 - 40 thousand attendances yet we aren't making any profits?
  14. I don't believe for one minute these 'callers' actually exist!!!! Like "This is not our opinion...we are only writing it on behalf of someone else". I can't believe anyone would go to the bother to pick up the phone and waste their time as the OP has pointed out. It's that rag of a paper who need their arse kicked and the only way to achieve that is - DO NOT BUY IT!
  15. Everything that went on in our club under Green will end up in court...the wee canteen wummin' might be next to take us on! Hopefully the wee canteen wummin' is one of us.
  16. That in itself puts the tin lid on it...it wasn't fit for purpose!
  17. The 'Battle of Pearl Harbor'....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ccuWFidUYI
  18. TLB's sorry Bolton side were delivered another set-back when Gary Hooper twice put his Sheffield Wednesday side in front to condemn green teeth and sex bHeast to defeat once again. Sheffield Wednesday 3 Bolton Wanderers 2.
  19. We're stuck with them forever...what a thought when you think what's been going on since our absence. It shouldn't take that long though to 'put them back in their place' and the element who attach themselves to that club disappear like snow aff a dyke. It's a power thing with those types....an ego thing targeting all good things in society.
  20. Ah! Betting! Wonder if the betting mob could back-up the garbage claims, as it would have cost them a small fortune as well I'd imagine.
  21. I don't know what WI FI is, never mind using it during a game? Do you know if many complaints were voiced about it by others, did you put complaints in yourself?
  22. Rangers boss Mark Warburton plots to land Barnet's teenage striker Matt Stevens http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3393073/Rangers-boss-Mark-Warburton-plots-land-Barnet-s-teenage-striker-Matt-Stevens.html?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490 Rangers manager Mark Warburton hopes to add Barnet striker Matt Stevens to his list of summer recruits. The 17-year-old has broken into the Hive’s first-team squad this season after being prolific with the club’s youth team but is out of contract in the summer. Warburton — whose side booked their place in fifth round of the Scottish Cup on Sunday with a comfortable 5-1 victory over Cowdenbeath — hopes to persuade the player to join Josh Windass and Matt Crooks at Ibrox after the pair agreed to join once their deals with Accrington Stanley expire. Stevens has only made a handful of appearances for Martin Allen’s League Two side but already he is being touted as a player with a huge future in the game. Swansea had a £250,000 bid for him turned down last year while both Manchester United and Manchester City are believed to be tracking him although neither club has yet formalised their interest. The teenager is the identikit of the players Warburton is attempting to build his Ibrox tenure on – young with potential that offer good future value in the transfer market. The acquisitions of former Wigan pair James Tavernier and Martyn Waghorn have been the highlights of his dealings so far.
  23. The Sky sports commentary bloke in some sort of reasoning for the disgusting scenes did mention the fact that Ireland was nearer to Stranraer than Glasgow...they did!!!
