JASON HOLT bagged his tenth goal of the season against Dundee on Saturday and the midfielder is hoping to keep his run going and bag as many as he can this season. The midfielder is in double figures in terms of goals for the first time in his professional career this season at the Gers and he knows that with the attacking manner that the Light Blues play he could yet grab more before the end of the campaign. Speaking exclusively to RangersTV this week, Holt said: “It’s nice now to get into double figures for the season. I hadn’t scored in a few games, so it was perhaps a wee weight off my shoulders. “I’d been getting chances, so I knew that if I kept getting into the right positions that eventually one would go in and that was the case on Saturday. “I had high hopes that I’d get goals, but I hadn’t set myself a target or anything like that. I’m delighted that I’ve got ten now and I just want to keep going and get as many as I can. “I always take each game as it comes and I want to get on the scoresheet as many times as I can between now and the end of the season and see where I end up.” Only Martyn Waghorn Kenny Miller and James Tavernier have scored more goals for the Gers than Holt this season and he thinks that the freedom that he is given to roam at the Light Blues has paid a crucial role in that. He continued: “I think that has to do with the style of play that the manager has implemented. “We play with a lot of freedom throughout the squad, especially from midfield which allows me and the other midfielders to get forward often and join in attacks. “It’s really good and it suits be down to a tee.” http://rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/delighted-goal-tally/

As soon as timmy exited the EL, the decision to inconvenience Rangers plans were top of the agenda.
-
Maybe Deila will park the bus in order to try save his job?
-
We might have a young side who cost less than their players, but we have vast experience of playing in front of packed grounds - they haven't. That along with the fact we play better football than them makes us favourites IMO.
-
Most definitely a full turnout followed by demonstrations at the breeze block arena after we slaughter them.
-
The Filth's shareholders should be more concerned about why they don't have many turning up for their games anymore.

It's all paper talk about 'stripping titles' and it will never happen, if it would have happened (it was on the agenda back then) it would have happened back then. Stripping titles is up to the SFA and it's never going to happen even under a tim run administration...yes we will all sweat at some dick sticking his head up and saying so, but it will never happen...such is the climate and the poor state we find ourselves in what is Scottish football there are bigger fish to fry. It's the crap newspapers who'll always focus on this non-event in order to sell their goods due to the state of the game up here there is nothing else to report. Right now in my thoughts I'm looking forward to humping The Filth oot the cup...not a tall order if you look at the really big picture.
-
I love this kind of reporting...KM has been hot and cold admittedly but some would prefer to dwell on his cold performances instead of his all round contribution over the course. I've said this from day one...Kenny Miller is a top player to us right now and I'm not just saying it because MW thinks so, the man's input is more important to himself than anything else don't forget, he's in the twilight of his career and looking at media work or a career in management in his future. Right now in this given time he's doing what he's always wanted to do since being a kid...play football! Some might say he has lost a lot of ability now...I say he has matured the way most guys at the end of their careers mature...guys like Totti of Roma for example who tonight at the age of 40 played in the CL. Miller might not have reached that level but he's doing a bloody good job in our predicament.

I see for the first time Aberdeen FC managed to win a game under pressure and reduce the gap to 1 point over the '10 in a row' mob. Partick 1 Dons 2 I have no love for Aberdeen FC but I will confess celebrating a league title for those cnuts if they can keep it up. In the likely event this will not happen I feel it'll be left to the Rangers next year to shut them up.

25k? Surely we must get as much as can be accommodated? Big empty parts of the Stadium can be avoided if the Peterhead fans are given a corner. This is the week before the big one and it would be better preparation for us if we played in front of a full crowd instead of one with a big gap at one end? Money to be made here I think.
-
This is very true....you just have to look at the efficiency and speed in the way they dealt with Bilel Mohsni's 'crime' and Motherwell FC for the disgraceful fans invasion in the Play-Off match.
-
Aw naw! Just realised Andy Wa*ker will be co-commentating on the match
-
We will never know, but I suspect if The Filth had been involved in a replay against any of the 4 who were, the game would have been shown live with an earlier KO time. Liewell would have made sure of that.

A full explanation from the SFA must be announced immediately and heads should roll after we hear it.

We have Tav Holt Halliday Waggy and Keirnan already heightening our beliefs and targets but the surprises just keep coming especially when you look a the new players who have joined up...O'Hallaron and King are another two, but Forrester is the big plus for me.
-
Harry Harry Forrester. We all demanded players in before Xmas, this guy has indeed been a bolt out of the blue. What a signing by our recruitment team eh? Things just get better and better when you don't really expect it if we are truly honest with ourselves. In King and MW their policy I trust.

I've seen many versions of this many times and still can't avoid bursting out laughing...weird...is it you ian that puts this on youtube? Quality...'they say he has a magic fucking hat' - 'a magic fucking hat!' The idea of Hitler in the guise of the scum boss being thwarted by a magic hat is priceless.

Tierney & McGinn To Get Scotland Call Up
Bearman replied to ian1964's topic in General Football Chat
He might get booed onto the park....no he won't, he doesn't play for Sevco -
I can't understand the fear felt by fans regards this tie...are C*ltic a moving ruthless machine ? Are they winning important games as they strive towards a tainted 5 in a row? Are they on course for a magnificent treble? Are they taking qualification for the CL as a given? If not then surely the EL can be won? We'll win that game and everyone will be in shock except the Rangers family. Can't understand some on here having doubt about facing a side with a very poor record on show for all to see.

The goal after 13 seconds changed everything there was no answer and threw their tactics into disarray

Highlights just started on BBC Scotland.... tims first (won't watch) but discussion after will be all about the Rangers
