  1. I learned only yesterday about this draw taking place, then completely forgot all about it due to 'lack of interest'. It is very uninspiring but I suppose when the 1st game approaches a slight excitement will ensue especially when there will be a few new faces in the starting line-up.
  2. Thought I'd use this old thread to post this. I have been trying for some time to try and purchase one of the above scarves, would have been prepared to offer a large sum of money for one, but alas they are very rare and virtually impossible to find...this week I found on eBay this one, though not as treasured I wanted it all the same. It arrived in the post today and it looks even better than in the picture. Some may say I'm off my head paying that for an old 1970 League Cup winners scarf, but this was the 1st ever trophy I saw Rangers lift after almost 4 years of nothing, which makes it an important scarf, one I will be proud of wearing 'til I die. I wanted this so much my maximum bid was £106.90...so I reckon I GOT A BARGAIN!
  3. If we had a referendum tomorrow on 'lets kick the Rangers out' We'd lose. Scummy SNP in Scotland along with Cameron couldn't care less...that's what makes the Tories such a hated Party in Scotland along with every other political party.
  4. I'd say that's close to the mark with media led 45 losers in the referendum and rampant SNP folk having another referendum to carry on their quest.
  5. I'd say that's a lie and it's more to with the minority within the 45 losers in the referendum.
  6. IMO it must be Daily Record print...no wait!...it is A DR print? Dehumanisation... ? FFS
  7. I have a lot of time for the 'Special One' he says he is the 'Happy One' now, no wonder. Getting the Manure job at this time opens up many avenues for social media. A good appointment? Certainly no matter how it pans out. I look forward to him being back in the limelight.
  8. Lots of concern over a striker and defender. Every club in the world has the same thing unless you are Real Madrid, Atletico Sevilla or Barca...they seem to always get it right every time. Flooding the midfield with quality who can on occasion score a goal or two (Halliday/Barton) isn't a bad thing.
  9. Barton has had issues in his life and already explained to everyone it's in the past...so I would please forum members respect that! Joey's first tackle next season will get jumped on by everyone...we will defend it.
  10. With this quality of signing I expect other surprises in store for us. Reminds me a little of the '86 Souness revolution when our club couldn't even win a game of solitaire. The difference though is this club isn't in a rut and has already hit the ground running.
  11. Welcome to Ibrox Joey...looking forward to watching you in the Royal Blue of Rangers. To those who keep bringing up his past - Shut the f**k up!
  12. Pete...you are spot on with that. I'm not a coward but the section I was in on Saturday I felt concern when the Hibs fans made their way towards us, I was sitting a few seats from the front and had to get off my seat with my friends in case they came at us. All I wanted to do before that was to applaud the team and staff for all they had done for us this season, just show my appreciation for giving us a great season. Some guys around us took the attitude to take the hordes of Hibernian nutjobs to task...I felt a little more secure when I saw that. The guys who took that decision made me feel a lot more secure...the polis done absolutely nothing to stop the potential harm to innocent fans like myself seated at our end.
  13. Enjoy your fight with Falkirk and Scumdee Utd, not to mention St Mirren & Raith Rovers...hope you never come back to our table in my lifetime.
  14. Take celtic for example We have never thought that like...what a pisser!
  15. You come on here and try to justify your poor comments with this??? If it was up to me................
  16. I knew what he meant
  17. ...anyway Killie spanking Houston's Bairns put a smile on my face...
  18. I toiled with the idea of continuing to watch on but knew in my heart there would be no condemnation of the assaults on Rangers players...I just fuckin' knew it.
  19. I only watched the Killie game mate then switched over...wasn't interested in anything those ****s had to say about Rangers.
  20. This "exuberance" excuse is total pish, they waited 114 years - so what? I haven't watched a Scottish Cup final since we last played in one in 2009...did the last two winners (ICT & St Johnstone) fans run onto the field after winning it for the first time in their history, then attack the oppositions players???
  21. Great statement, if we don't receive a proper response from the authorities I think Rangers next move is to ban ALL away fans from Ibrox next season for obvious reasons.
  22. Pete...I noticed in the video you posted the away fans are boxed in by partitions obviously to stop them running on to the field of play or attacking the home fans - is this common with all stadia in Holland? Reason I'm asking is that would be good idea for Ibrox when all the haters come next season, maybe could section them off in a small part of the west enclosure.
