I've watched this on occasion and found it on a par with 1980's 'Bullseye'. Can't beat a bit of Bully though.

Round 1 has us in with 11 other Premiership u20 teams, plus 8 League 2 teams, 4 Highland League teams and 4 Lowland League teams. Definitely a good target/experience for our u/20's. The extra pressure as 'holders' will do them a world of good (hopefully).

It is the ultimate 'diddy cup' though if truth be told.

IT was about as challenging a Scotland debut as Barrie McKay could possibly have made. He came on against a French team comprised of many the best players in Europe away from home in Metz in front of 25,000 of their supporters in their final warm-up match before hosting the Euro 2016 finals. Daunting much? The national team performed poorly in demanding circumstances on Saturday night and slumped to a heavy 3-0 defeat in what was their final outing before their Russia 2018 qualifying campaign kicks off early next season. Yet, McKay, who replaced James McArthur with six minutes remaining in the friendly in the Stade Saint-Symphorien, has been left unfazed and unscathed by the experience. If anything, in fact, it has simply whetted his appetite for international football. “I would love to play for my country again,” the Rangers winger said as he looked back on the match. “I have always said that, even if it is at under-21 level or first team level. I would just love to play. “On a personal level, I could enjoy it. It was the first cap for my country at first team level. I came up through the youth system in Scotland, so to be able to make my first team debut was a proud moment for me. “Unfortunately, the result wasn’t what we wanted. That would have made it an even more special occasion for myself.” McKay added: “The manager just told me to go out and enjoy it and try to get involved as much as I could. That was it really. It's a terrible state of affairs really when we don't even care about what our national team does against France. It is! It's even more disturbing that Rangers FC don't have representation at all. Can't blame big bad Rangers for the decline can we? Scottish football fans and those who run the game continue to bury their heads in the sand. Two major reasons why we are shite. 1) Rangers have been slung as if like some disease or something. 2) Blinded bigoted hatred represented by arseholes taking over the reins. No wonder Scottish Football fans like myself don't give a f*ck about Strachans Scotland Team. Strachan couldn't even jump an advertising board against Germany due to being a wee shite back then.

I expect (in hindsight mind) we continue to sign guys the calibre of Tavernier Halliday Holt and Waghorn. Barton was a sidestep though maybe because we've moved up a 'level'...a shrewd move definitely but don't think we need more of him rather than more of the aforementioned, just a thought. The name of the club 'Racing' sounds as if it could be more than the truth. St Etienne was the city where a company called 'Manufrance' came from...and that's the decals on the bike itself. This bike has a certain history that no-one really knows about for sure.
