  1. Twice in the last couple of years is a bit hard to swallow. What's that saying about lightening strikes?
  2. Personally I think the game is hard to call, much like as before, the way the media go on you'd think Rangers were miles behind, but maybe it's a 'smokescreen' like the Scottish Cup S-F when Rangers ultimately showed we weren't behind at all? Brenda is the new hope mind...he's 1 result from condemnation. 2 bad results will see comparisons to Delia surface and a lack of activity on deadline day will be brought up. We have so much to look forward to.
  3. The big brand is Rangers, you only have to look at the exposure the game in Scotland is getting at the moment just because of one game. Whilst Rangers were in the lower leagues that got a bit of attention that has never known before. Another big Brand was Ralph...he skelped them on a regular basis too.
  4. I'm not sure who should start whether it be Forrester, McKay, O'Halloran or Waghorn. MW has worked all week with the players and through his game plan will have already selected who's playing from the start - substitute players will have to wait and see where they come in depending on the flow of the game.
  5. Sometimes it is sometimes it isn't. In all my time watching Rangers (ok I'm an auld yin) The Rangers sides I've ever seen go through bad and good times are like clockwork. Some you lose, some you win. This season has a difference to it like no other. I've never felt going into a season we are ****ed but if you take the general view (media) we are. I'm pretty long in the tooth now to say there is the chance to win this, it won't be a walk in the park, it never has been like that anyway, but a dramatic finish to the Scottish title will be the first since Rangers were thrown into the bowels of mediocrity by their opponents. Rangers fans deep down know we can win this 55, some throw caution and say it's a league too far, truth is we will finish 1st or 2nd like all the years before. Smith knew how to win this league through The Rangers tradition, Warburton somehow has to use a different approach to achieve what Smith done. A tall order if truth be told.
  6. No thanks but just have a go at a very good poster?
  7. It gets circulated very often in all of Scotland, whether it be fanzines, official club outlets or the BBC (Scotland) itself. Keep up.
  8. You have to remember it's very very early in the season to make any assumption. A couple of draws and a couple of wins means absolutely nothing, just as 4 wins would be.
  9. If you could pick one player from the squad who has continued from last season it's him. Maybe not from his mental bursts up the park but more to do with his defensive abilities of which were apparent last year when having to chase back exhausted. I prefer the mental bursts up the field to his more subdued defensive instructions. His dead ball attributes are sublime at times.
  10. Tav must be worth £15M (in the epl) for his dead ball skills.
  11. Couldn't agree more dB. Mutton is given the last word on BT to say what is generally accepted as the truth. Personally like yourself our problems are more to do further up the park.
  12. I'm putting our poor form down to the up and coming old firm game, our players probably have had one eye on that game since the fixtures were announced, very unprofessional some may say but it's the biggest game most of our players have ever had to play in. The Scottish SF last season was the same...the players got hero status for that and want more of the same me thinks and through rawness as a team and a little lack of concentration have found themselves dropping points early in the season. Be good to get the OF done and out the road with a victory. The 'spy in the stand' John Kennedy wouldn't have learned much from watching us lately.
  13. The final word goes to Mutton on BT Sports. "Rangers defence is horrendous."
  14. Something should be done about 'professionals' trying to inflict serious injury on an opponent. A red card no doubt, but he should be punished more heavily for 'intention'. The intention was obvious from the replays, how can a player do that to another player without having a level of some sort of hatred? This isn't an excuse for dropping two points.
  15. Not meant to be a criticism...but Joe Garner was invisible on his debut.
  16. That tackle was meant to end Joey's season - dirty ****.
  17. The injury to Dodoo upset our plans. He was on the right with Kenny in the middle had to change McKay to right and Kenny made way for Garner...
  18. That was that pull he got from killie defender - he landed awkwardly.
