  1. Those were the days...we have a helluva few days/weeks/months/years to ever see that again!
  2. No...I heard he has the power to deal with it 'privately' within...and he has that position to do just that.
  3. Notorious Billy Boys and some IRA songs, how can you compare when you read media reports?
  4. Why change to a personal password? Keep the one you were allocated and just use that boabie. Think yourself lucky...I had to create a new password and wasn't allocated a new one.
  5. I think it's an absolute disgrace that folk are on here whilst drinking...(hic..!)
  6. That's rubbish Pete, sure I take on board a number of factors at the same time can cause something unforeseen, it still happens today and we all learn from it. The idea that Ibrox Stadium was dangerous and being ignored is absurd. As I said in my earlier post, I at no time felt concerned or worried coming out of Ibrox Park's stairway 13 in all my time as a supporter.
  7. Contrary to what we read and hear about from the likes of Pete for example ...I attended every home game from when I was 11 years old with my pal from 1966 until that fateful day. At NO time did I feel frightened walking down those stairs, never ever did I find myself losing control of my wits, and I was only 11,12,13,14 and 15 at the time. Sure there was a crush, this happened at most football ground at the full time whistle which I also experienced as I got older, Ibrox was much bigger than any other ground in Scotland with the exception of Hampden. The only time I ever got 'scared' coming out of a game was at the '76 Cup Final at Hampden when I was basically carried a hundred yards or so off my feet jammed by the folk next to me. That was scary and I can only think looking back that maybe the Ibrox Disaster was something unique and not anything to do with safety issues at the ground.
  8. Just to clarify my position on this subject as it was me who posted it. I was absolutely livid when a friend of mine directed me to a YouTube video regarding the Poznan on the 66th minute, when I posted this thread all I saw was the whole ground joining in, I accept that those outside the gb were unaware of it's significance and maybe I should have thought it through more about the thread title. I am totally convinced the scum in the safe standing area planned this as it was a full 5 minutes after they went 3-1 up, and that the rest of the ground simply followed suit.
  9. Whoever it was, they are the ones we should be more concerned about.
  10. We all knew Joey was a hothead when he arrived and that he doesn't take sh*t from no-one. He's now playing his football in a strange environment given all the anti Rangers stuff that only today MW mentioned. He tried so hard to stop that 5th goal going in on Saturday, he cares about us more than we probably know.
  11. Just a small update...I never expected a phone call or a chap on the door from Police Scotland regarding my 'hate crime' concern on the green brigades obvious celebration of the 66 football fans who lost their lives at exit 13 at Ibrox in 1971. I wanted it to be put on record, I know that sort of complaint can NEVER be proved - UNTIL THE NEXT TIME! It was deliberately aimed at the 66 who died that day and I'm furious about that!
  12. BBC Scotland decided to run a series on what went wrong in the Scottish game. I opted not to watch it on the basis if they knew the answers then we wouldn't be there. Hope this crap BBC Scotland production gets the chop after tonight. Surely no **** will watch it now!
  13. The 0-7 equals Hibs record defeat for Scottish clubs in Europe...that happened after Rangers were thrown out of the spl too.
  14. You missed a treat Pete...7 great goals in a 1 sided CL game is very rare.
  15. Sergio Aguero, David Silva, Kevin De Bruyne and Nolito next...
  16. Scottish Football since Rangers were mistreated really has hit a new low.
  17. They did...haha! Absolutely have my football cap back on again after that mauling.
  18. Kill all huns that is. Rangers fans used to chant go home ya huns in reference to the ROI (septic) not taking part in the war against Hitler , don't ever remember how the scum managed to turn the tables on us regards 'go home ya huns' On a sidenote...go home the famine is over is banned in Scotland.
  19. And do you honestly believe the 'plan' to have a disgraceful display celebrating the 66 who died in 1971 at Ibrox wasn't seen coming? I believe it. How can that be ? Is it the SNP GOVERNMENT who are also involved in this wearing of green white and orange t shirts to give us one?
  20. Criticising Rangers? I've been doing that all my life! It is concerning for me anyway that somehow instead of the bandwagon trudging on under MW (The Magic Hat) it has stuttered almost into mediocrity under his guidance? I thought the signings of Krancjar and Barton especially would have had us stepping it up a notch or two, how wrong and misguided was me. I was never ever going to be convinced with Hill though or Senderos given he wasn't offered a contract until the window crashed down. Crooks we haven't seen yet, but Rossiter has been a rabbit out the magic hat, Windass and what game time he's had tells me he's our best player tbh, even better than Barrie. Garner and Dodoo in fairness haven't really had the opportunity to show their worth, but Garner did manage to score on his 'Old Firm' debut and was probably overshadowed a little by the other debutante striker from the opposition maybe. If I've missed our other signings out then apologies...still think Halliday, Holt, Forrester, and O'Halloran should be first on the team sheet along with Lee, Tav, Barrie, Waggy and Fod.
  21. City beating Utd without Aguero has set down a benchmark...City to win the league in a canter. I'm on record as being hopeless at predicting who'll win what and where btw.
  22. ...and Leicester in 16th place
  23. Thanks Ian. I have supplied every detail they want...tel no and address. Will see what happens next.
  24. Started by the GB doing the Poznan on the 66th minute...backed virtually by the rest of that sickening support. 23:50 mins in. [video=youtube;TKnfib8Q-Jk]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TKnfib8Q-Jk
  25. Halliday should have started and Forrester most definitely should be an automatic pick every week. Young Rossiter would have thrived in that atmosphere and O'Halloran could have excelled too. Holt is injured I think but he too would have made a difference today and if only Waggy had been match fit too who knows what the result would have been today.
