  1. If Payet isn't in the right frame of mind then it's just as well for WHU he has refused to play. Its been obvious all season he's not interested anymore...the manager kept playing him so Payet is simply being honest and doing his job for him. As for Costa getting dropped - Chelsea efficient as ever! How can a player be in the right frame of mind after learning he could earn 600K a WEEK playing elsewhere? EDIT: MENTAL!!! Costa wage offer... A week - £577,000 A day - £82,200 An hour - £3,425 A minute £57
  2. More from 'SportBuzzer' Scottish thousands fans expected - City expects traffic restrictions According to Scottish media, on Sunday, up to 8,000 Glasgow Rangers fans want to watch the test against RB in Leipzig. The city expects, among other things, considerable traffic restrictions. | Article published: January 13 2017 20:00 | Article updated: January 13, 2017 23:18 Leipzig. Leipzig is expecting a lot of Scottish fans to play for the test of the RB Leipzig against Glasgow Rangers on Sunday. According to a report from the Glasgow daily Daily Record, even 8,000 fans of the Scottish recordmaker want to come to Leipzig. The city counted in the vicinity of the stadium with considerable traffic restrictions. The fans of the Glasgow Rangers are reached via the main station. From the west side of the station, shuttle buses take you to the Red Bull Arena. In the opinion of the city, however, there is still a considerable amount of pedestrian traffic between the city center and the sportsforum. As usual, Leipzig fans are asked to take the public transport to the Red Bull Arena. In order to ensure escape routes, the city arranges bans on the Goyastrasse, Eitingtonstraße, the Cottaweg and Am Sportforum at the riverbank. 3. This is a Google Translate (ahem) - has to be better than none at all! Welcome to Scotland! About 8,000 fans of the Glasgow Rangers are expected on Sunday to test against RB Leipzig. Special flights depart at the airport. Leipzig. The Scots are coming! About 8,000 fans of the Glasgow Rangers are expected on Sunday to test against RB Leipzig. Whether the order of magnitude is reached, no one can say so exactly. But the Red Bulls have provided 4500 guest tickets for the Scots, and they are gone, confirmed the club on Friday. At the airport Leipzig-Halle even special flights land. Already on Saturday come two machines from Glasgow, except the series, the airport confirmed against LVZ.de. Whether the Rangers are on board is unclear. At 1:45 hrs the Airbus of Germania hangs. 215 people fit on board, and "the flight is booked", a spokeswoman for the airline on request. On Saturday at 5 pm, a Cityjet-Flyer with a capacity of almost 100 seats landed. Where other thousands of Rangers supporters are coming to the city is not clear. Also in Berlin on the day before the test game flights from the Scottish football metropolis. And among the nearly 1000 Leipzigers with roots in the kingdom, there might also be Rangers supporters. Extra Football Fantour packages from the Leipzig Tourism and Marketing GmbH (LTM) do not exist. "The fans are self-organized," says Andreas Schmidt. But the tourists are happy about the game of the island: "The RB game against the Scots is doing us good," says Schmidt. This is the reason why international fans came to Leipzig, which generally stayed longer and thus left more money in the city than the locals. They shared all the guests' fans: "They act as multipliers," says Schmidt. No wonder that the LTM lawn shooting a crowd puller with the Tourism Award 2016 distinguished. Glasgow languishes after international stage Main thing, the fan feels comfortable. So populated Schalke supporters in December the Christmas market , "and I have experienced that the fans like in downtown use the pubs and shops," says Schmidt. To ensure that everything works on Sunday, had news portal Daily Record the Glasgow-battle loafers an extensive compendium of advice from Zoo excursion to beer prices added to the hand. It is clear: the Glasgow Rangers fans are eager for an international stage. The success story of the first league game was stopped by an insolvency in 2012. After that, the club, which was affectionately called "The Gers" or "The Teddy Bears", was downgraded to the 4th league. The first four-game match still took place in front of almost 50,000 spectators. Then the Tippel-Tappel-Tour started back into the football upper house. Since this season, the Glasgow players are playing again in the first league, are currently in second place behind their arch rival Celtic Glasgow. Testspiel back and forth, Leipzig should be perfect for the Scots in many ways. With the Red Bulls, she expects a high-class opponent, as an encore they can experience their Scottish national player Oliver Burke in action. Ergo: The Scots in Leipzig can not lose
  4. The idea of playing overseas has been going on since 1888!
  5. Och...he's just a wee "teenager", leave him alone, whit team does he support?
  6. Would be nice if KJ during a Scottish football winter break needing to sell his paper write about the 'contract' agreed between a Fat Man and a crook 'working' at Rangers FC. Used to love the idea of a 'free press'
  7. Didn't notice the 2nd page !
  8. FoI/16/02106 5 January 2017 Dear Mr REQUEST UNDER THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION (SCOTLAND) ACT 2002 (FOISA) Thank you for your request dated 15 December 2016 under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (FOISA). Your request You asked for information relating to the safety of Ibrox Stadium, referring to the blog at the following link: http://www.philmacgiollabhain.ie/the-scottish-government-responds-on-ibrox-roof-issue/#more-8483 Response to your request The Scottish Government did provide a response to the blog. I would, however, emphasise that the issue of safety at Ibrox stadium is a matter for Glasgow City Council. We are aware Rangers Football Club has a safety certificate for Ibrox stadium which is valid until July 2017. We are not aware of any issues or concerns relating to the stadium or the safety certificate. 9. Very entertaining...to go straight to the Final click on this link.
  10. The link has a "404 Page Not Found" error Moonlighter.
  11. Just seen an advert for Hibs vs Dundee Hibs to be shown on Alba Friday evening k.o. 19:45. After spending two years in that league I was just glad to get away from it, haven't watched a single game shown from the Championship on tv since or even 'highlights' of any match. On checking the table it's 'neck and neck' between the two of them on who get's automatic promotion, only 1 point separates the sides with the 3rd team (surprisingly Morton) 10 points behind. I might watch this game with interest...Who do I want to lose? Which club do I dislike most? Difficult to answer really, but on reflection the answer has to be the club who's fans spat punched and kicked our players in May, then again they are up against a club who were more vocal than most in trying to kill off Rangers. You could in preference watch West Ham who host Man City in the FA Cup (19:55 k.o.) and looks on paper anyway to be of more interest. Deportivo away to Espanyol in La Liga being the only other option for tv footy fans.
  12. Even their so-called 'funnies' like Only An Excuse is littered with cover-up/denials whatever! It was on my tv whilst entertaining guests on Hogmanay but no-one was really interested in it TBH...I did stop to listen to the sketch on Police arresting the 'culprit' for hanging rubber dolls at the Paedoring, predictably two cops dragged a rubber doll out of a house...what irked me was how the 'reporter on the story' used the hanging of the dolls as Rangers fans preferring to dismiss hanging of Protestants in the sketch. BBC Scotland spouting lies and hatred and also working hard to cover up republican sectarianism in Scotland.
  13. Yep, the SNP...a horrible divisive party needing kicked out of town. Wee nippy with high heels, needing a kick in the bawz. And Englishman Sutton needs taken to the tower.
  14. To all at Gersnet and family and all the Rangers family across the globe!
  15. Nice preview Frankie, cracking read. As an old Bear with many ups and downs watching the OF I can't ever remember us being so far behind them except when we came up against their greatest ever side in the late '60's. We got put in our place a few times back then, but delivered a blow to their so called invincibility, Celtic were pretty invincible at that time - a shadow of that side exists today under Brenda and with what Rangers FC have had to go through with tricksters and ****s robbing the club, raping it even, it's no wonder how far away from catching them seems. If we have a Rangers of tradition then it won't be a problem getting something off them, if we have a weak Rangers still recovering from the terrible crimes committed against us then only the years of time will sort that one out.
  16. Well on the way to 41 now sir...sorry for missing by hours in wishing you a Happy Birthday. Just realised I watched Man U winning the CL in a pub in Tollcross when I turned 40! Jings...how time flies!
  17. When we have bitter losers like Sutton highlighting a nothing moment and turning it into some kind of 'assault' by a Rangers player who in effect gets a 2 match ban by the so called compliance officer then Scottish football is not just simply a laughing stock but in a serious position of corruptness when you look at the money involved in the game. Celtic will win the league we already know but this is the sort of thing that Sutton was employed for by BT Sports, and he's shamefully trying to earn his corn to appease tim. Sutton brought the game into disrepute many years ago when he accused Dunfermline FC of 'lying down' in a game Rangers won to seal the title. BT Sports are bringing the game into disrepute by employing this rhetard to pass his personal views onto the 'general' public. Anyone who subscribes to BT should reconsider their position and how their hard earned cash is being used.
  18. Time we banned away fans to these games...the games a bogey up here now. Hanging effigies of people of religion is a new 'high', 'Hun Scum' and 'No your place' banners also new to our shores, considering Scotland has a 'minority' of Catholics it's quite worrying how these 'threats' are not being treated with concern especially since young Rangers kids following their Dad's and Uncle's to the football are getting caught up in the chaos and getting 'bottled' just because of their interest in Rangers. Most concerning is the SNP government who seem to appear to take this developing situation as a nothing ... Even more concerning is the SNP governments involvement with Celtic people and BBC Scotland.
  19. World class was Willie Johnston, I was only a kid but I still and always will believe he was truly World Class. Football was rather different back then. Willie played in a great side which won a European Trophy scoring two goals to clinch the cup. If he was born 40 years later he'd be challenging Messi instead of Ronaldo...Can't prove it though.
  20. I'll leave it to Gernsnetters rather than google it...what does promulgated and surreptiously mean?

    BJK today

I always remember the first time I learned of Big Jock 'knowing'. One day during work about 13 years ago I was driving through Bargeddie and spray painted on a wall in fairly big letters was 'BIG JOCK KNEW'. I wondered what it meant, then almost immediately it drifted from my thoughts. Next day I drove past the same place and again saw the scrawled message couldn't miss it really. It wasn't until I saw the same 'message' some time later in another part of Glasgow which brought it to my attention in what the daubing's actually meant, admittedly I was gobsmacked when I found out. Sometimes it takes 'vandals' painting stuff on walls to bring to attention something that happens in society when the media doesn't bother their arse, cover-up definitely comes to mind. I wouldn't condemn the Rangers support for 'chanting' the message today, especially after what we are all learning how serious the problem of child abuse was in football and how it has been covered-up. The BJK 'campaign' from 13 years ago stitched in when the Savile scandal broke some years later and pictures emerged on the powerful internet of Savile at Parkhead. The media in this country of ours didn't even attempt to print the fact and to their shame came to an agreement to completely cover it up. If it needs some bloke to spray paint a wall to bring it to my attention, then fans chanting it at a football match has no problem with me... Is it point scoring? Maybe not.
  22. 4-0 now...a walk in the (Tynecastle) park.
  23. Scoring 3 goals in a league game is pretty easy in Scottish fitba'...this is the seventh time Hearts have achieved this feat, the Sheep have managed it SIX times and runaway leaders Shame FC have 9. Rangers have accomplished it ONCE? Achieving three POINTS are more important however.
