Bearman replied to 26th of foot's topic in Rangers Chat
Need to tame the guy Moult up front today...to be honest I'd never heard of him until after last weeks match and now note he has 24 goals in 54 games for Well...dangerous player going by that stat. -
Lennon sets sights on retaining Scottish Cup

I'll be gunning for Hearts to dump them out next round, then I'll be hoping for the Arabs to pip them for automatic promotion, followed by getting behind Morton condemning them to at least another season in the Championship through the play-offs. Would give me the boak if that vile individual who currently manages them and their fans got anywhere near Ibrox in the foreseeable future. -
If it wasn't for our team blowing the Cup Final back in May then that might be an argument for failure. I believe, even with the cabal running the game, Rangers over time will be back winning trophies on a regular basis. It's up to the club to make this happen sooner rather than later.

BBC Scotland should sign him up for next Hogmanay the annual event of 'Only An Excuse'. The current writers need put into care.

We could be doing with an Albertz/Fergie* type of midfielder who can shoot with power and accuracy from 20/30 yards out, we don't have that at all, when anybody tries it it usually ends up in row Z. (*the niar one)

So what you're saying is the standard of refereeing in this country hasn't changed in 30 years?

Stewart Gilmour - Peter Lawwell runs Scottish football
Bearman replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
The idea of Rangers being wiped out of Scottish football forever was an idea put forward to all spl clubs 5 years ago, a chance they thought to rid the country of its most successful side through simple hatred and a sense that success for themselves would be to a degree more easier to achieve. An inviting idea indeed... Aberdeen FC for example found silverware in 2013-14 for only the first time since 1999-00 when lifting the League Cup, they also achieved 'runners-up success' in the top league two years in a row...22 years have past since they last managed that magnificent feat. As for the Scottish Cup...you have to go back to the year 2000 to find an appearance from that awful club...they lost that one as well! Dundee Utd: What can I say about that heinous club and its supporters? Won nothing since Rangers were thrown out...reached TWO cup finals but failed in both of them. Got relegated even without Rangers being part of their league! Hearts: Humped their 'great rivals' 5-1 in the 2012 Scottish Cup Final, no more success got relegated 2 years later. Timmy, St Johnstone and ICT have managed to land the Scottish Cup during our time working up the leagues, relegated Hibs won it after our promotion back to the top...it'll be another 100 years before they'll win it again. St Mirren grabbed silverware in 2012-13... a League Cup - then suffered relegation 2 years later, odds on for a further demotion out of Scottish football forever. Ross County got some Hampden cheer, dumping Championship club Hibs in the 2015-16 League Cup Final. Meanwhile during all this time only ONE club has benefited from the decision to 'kill' off Rangers as Scottish football sinks to new lows without serious sponsorship since the decision equivalent to turkeys voting for Xmas was taken 5 years ago. Ach...wee Strachan has done no bad for himself too I suppose. -

GERS BET ROW Punter sues Coral bookies for refusing a £250,000 payout...
Bearman replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
The Sun The guy didn't actually place a bet that Rangers would be 'dumped out', his bet was Rangers would be relegated - a totally different thing altogether. Auld guy onto plums. -

First time I've ever heard anyone speak up in a media outlet and say what they really think about Peter Lawwell. Hope this grows arms and legs, but I very much doubt it. -
GERS BET ROW Punter sues Coral bookies for refusing a £250,000 payout...
Bearman replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Coral should pay up just for saying ‘not the same club’ - That is a false statement in a court of law. Their argument should be about the bet itself on whether Rangers were relegated or not. Hope the auld bassa loses and Coral are instructed to pay £250,000 to a charity of their choice and ordered to pay costs. -
Great news that we have Wallace back for the Scottish Cup game. Such an important player for us.

Some mouth watering fixtures in there Gribz. Lots to look forward to as always where the Premier League is concerned

James Tavernier was a sensation last season when he got the ball, worth the entrance fee alone, his feat of surpassing greats Sandy Jardine's and John Greig's scoring record for a defender in a season was superb even although it was against Championship sides (I believe there's not much difference in class between the divisions, as those contesting the Scottish Cup Final ultimately proved) I honestly expected him to step up to the next (small) level with ease. Very disappointed that he has appeared to 'down tools'.

There's only one single positive I can take from that friendly. The amazing fans who at great expense travelled to watch it!

Can't see anyone stopping Chelsea now. Liverpool drop too many points and had Mignolet to thank for gaining a point tonight, Arsenal are traditionally content with top 4 and Spurs always finish below them. Man City need a clear-out from keeper to front and build a new side around De Bruyne. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if Man U under the guidance of Mourinho run Chelsea close and finish in 2nd place. My winter prediction for final positions: 1. Chelsea 2. Man U 3. Arsenal 4. Liverpool

We should rename the 'friendly match' a 'camping holiday' We were bloody awful in that game.

I was naive enough to think we'd have gave Leipzig something to think about...alas we were very very poor.

Should be very interesting to see how we play foreign opposition...can't wait!
