  1. McLeish will be fine by me...he won us our only treble to date in this millennium. He also guided Rangers into the knockout stages of the CL for the first and only time.. He also holds two other unique managerial records. 1. Aston Villa: A club record of only four home wins in a season. 2. Rangers: A club record of 10 games without a win.
  2. He plays in the EPL. From Wikipedia ****** is a versatile, creative and hardworking forward, who is capable of playing in several offensive positions, as a striker, supporting forward, attacking midfielder or as a winger on either flank. His preferred role is on the right, however, where he is capable of curling shots on goal with his stronger left foot. A dynamic player, he possesses pace, positional sense and good technique, which, along with his strength, allows him to play with his back to goal and hold up the ball for teammates. ****** is capable both of creating and scoring goals due to his intelligence and his powerful and accurate shot with his left foot; he is also an accurate set-piece taker. Don't cheat!
  3. Senderos' deserves MotM imo...his brilliant tackle in the second half to win the ball off Duffy was sensational!
  4. Draw was fixed...McLeish oven balls - McKay freezer balls!
  5. Sure was - Waghorn missed a sitter for 3-1...then seconds later it was almost 2-2.
  6. I was wondering about this so decided to check back...astonishingly the last time two strikers scored in the one match for us was in this round of the cup 12 months ago!!! It was the replay at Rugby Park 16/02/16 Waghorn & Clark the scorers. You have to go back another month (16/01/16 Livingston 4-1) to find the last time both Waggy & Kenny scored in the same game! Unbelievable!!!
  7. Manure under the guidance of Jose are cooking on gas now. 2nd place is the target, just like us (only without shouting it from the rooftops). Who'd have thought Mata would become such an important cog in the machinery when Mourinho first arrived? You'd have put your money on him being first out the door. What is it now? 16 games without defeat? By the time they face Chelsea in mid April they'll be in 2nd place I think.
  8. So, over some timescale the board wanted rid of the management team that they employed but couldn't afford to sack them? The management team knew this but had no option other than to continue working for Rangers FC until they found another club. Eventually the agent representing the management team found them another club, the board rejoiced with a big sigh of relief only for the deal to fall through. That's when the shit hit the fan. There is only one side to blame here for that massive clusterfuck! THE BOARD! Here's hoping their next appointment has a happy ending.
  9. It's difficult for me to agree that Miller is past his best, sure he's 37 and should be looking at his next 'job' for me he's our best player by far, better than McKay although that could be an unfair comparison due to McKay just starting out in the game. As for a job in management, I'm pretty sure he's looking to further himself in the game after he retires - is he ready to become assistant to the next manager at Rangers? Possibly, but he'll be thinking he's got more to offer just playing right now.
  10. I'm not an expert in all these 'dealings' but... Is the case not that Rangers FC would have received compensation from NF if the deal had gone through hence the delay in the announcement? Rangers don't get compensation as NF went elsewhere...Warburton is now without a pay-off and on the dole and is denying everything.
  11. Good shout...but he'd be first on the teamsheet Rab???
  12. Just goes from worse to worst...no way should we have a 'tim fan' on the books never mind taking control of team and tactics. Bloody speechless!!!
  13. That's some list!!!! 'Souness Souness Souness'...with Walter as his assistant? Nothing wrong with an old classic. I'm actually quite cool about Warburton leaving...his system (if that's what they call it) was driving me insane.
  14. 'Sensation' and 'Unbelievable' are very used terms for football commentators here in the UK during matches and by the MSM after they are played. When it comes to Rangers over these past effin years the terms are used mostly about what's going on OFF the park! It's been one thing and one thing only since 2011 and it's still going on ffs!...I yearn for more of the joy experienced last April when we seemed to have broken through a difficult barrier. Warbs should take his magic hat back and demand a refund...what can I say about SDoW? He has really let the troops down.
  15. Tbh...if Sir Walter came back AGAIN I would like that, if McLeish came back AGAIN I'd like that also. McInnes and Davies just doesn't do it for me, De Boer is the same, he only spent a couple of years in Scotland.
  16. Yeah good reply rbr...that's what I believe too. I'm baffled though why the board didn't just come out with it on Monday. The fact they have told us Graeme Murty will take the reigns on Sunday suggests he is prepared for this rather than hit him with it 40 before the game, obviously it's been discussed well in advance. Good luck to the guy Graeme on Sunday who I'll admit had never heard of until tonight.
  17. Right! I think I've got it! The agent went in on Monday told Rangers the 3 Amigos were resigning because the NF job was there. Everyone agreed to delay the announcement until the deal actually went through...next thing they learn the NF deal is off! On this development Rangers decide to announce that they have resigned...Warb & Co say no they haven't!!!! Is that right?
  18. Are you suggesting that because the board 'are split' is the reason they waited 4 days to tell us all MW & Co had handed in their resignations and that they have been accepted?
  19. If Warburton & Co put in their resignations on Monday and the board accepted them, can someone explain to me why Rangers didn't announce it until tonight a full 4 days later?
  20. Hacking...why would they release a statement on Murty taking charge of game on Sunday? The obsessed really are obsessed with Rangers FC.
  21. Sounds like an excitable position...a cracking job! Just what we need.
  22. Terribly sad news...I know a lot of Gers fans who aren't happy with Kiernan as a player for us and let it be known, but for anyone reverting to abusing him like that is shameful. If he leaves us for that reason then that can't be right.
  23. Our problem right now is having to deal with and having to accept the dominance of Celtic - they are having a party with their greatest ever side who won the European Cup 50 years ago as they wipe their records off the board and create their own new records (0-7 Barcelona ) Our major problem is not being able to beat the likes of Ross County after three attempts and losing 1-4 to Hearts ffs!
  24. Sometimes...ever increasing btw, I get angry at the bears who shout loudest as I despair at the product on the park. It's not a good time and as I mentioned earlier in the thread fans are not coming back...a concern I hope that is being assessed by those in control.
  25. It isn't the way to behave...Rangers fans always expect the very best we ain't getting it and for that reason tempers fray. I'm angry right now, would never think of abusing a Rangers player in public because of it. We need a change in direction of sorts things aren't going to plan from where I'm standing. The board can't sit back and think the plan they had 2 years ago is still in progress...because it isn't, the situation is critical.
