  1. ...and another thing while I'm on ... James Tavernier when he first arrived was a fantastic player, a great attacking player with bags of attitude. If truth be told, he has been a shadow of himself this season. What we saw with that burst of pace and control past players which led to the equaliser proves he needed a change of manager. He looks as if he wants to succeed again.
  2. Murty did say pre-match the criticism of the side and that a new manager was watching should have them look at themselves and show what they can do...I thought at the time. yes! That is what is needed to say and good on you Mr Murty. The players responded magnificently and showed what wearing the shirt really means (Hill was outstanding, apart from some mis-timed tackles early on) ...the usual BS from recent past managers has been doing my head in. If I'm allowed to be critical after such a good result, I'd say arguably our best player really let us down today, a good player can have an off day from time to time...for his sake he better not have another off day from now 'til end of season!
  3. Cheating on the field of play needs to be punished severely, both Dembele and Griffiths should be hauled up for trying to con the ref, and the next time they try it carries an automatic ban.
  4. He said "WE are very appy to be here..." Who's we? Has he got an assistant with him?
  5. That right there represents fully the ethos of that whole club!
  6. I'd like to take this opportunity in apologising to Mr Murty for calling him clueless a couple of weeks ago. Sorry sir.
  7. How this crap side has stayed unbeaten is astonishing!
  8. I'd thoroughly agree that Sutton's twitter followers are idiots!
  9. BT Sport employs this muppet and BT Sport subscribers pay his wages... Off topic: Brenda Rogers was on Scottish tv today trying to convince folk that C**t**s 0-7 hammering by Barcelona wasn't that bad on the basis of their 6-1 demolition of PSG. No-one in the media at all questioned that statement preferring instead to put it out as fact? 0-7 defeats are nothing to worry about folks! Wonder how wee Strapon with capt broonaldo will fare in the coming months.
  10. I cheered out loud when Barca got the 'winner' to the astonishment of Mrs Bearman who jumped in fright whilst reading a book about tragic love entanglements. I like Barca and particularly Messi, I don't like Real because they have 'Big Heid' Ronaldo! There's a wee race on just now on the first player to score 100 CL goals...before this years competition started Ronaldo was on 93 with Messi seemingly out of it with 83. Currently it stands at Messi 94 Big Heid 95...why did Messi not take that 2nd pen? Must have 'bottled' it!
  11. I think we have to accept him as our next manager and get on with it. From a personal experience and no doubt most bears at the time when Souness chucked it and WS 'stepped up' as his replacement most of us gave it the mighty Look how he turned out! Same thing happened again when Dick left the club and his replacement was to be Big Eck...wow! How uninspiring a name was that? That got double However, again, look how he turned out! Then when PLG came in after that it was greeted rather differently, I'm pretty sure at the time most bears were rubbing their hands in anticipation when we landed him Look how that turned out! When Walter came back again it was with 99% of the fans support. He never really blotted his copybook until I suppose, he recommended Ally for his empty seat. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. When Ally finally got the boot, Warburton got the job...the excitement of that appointment had fans going through the roof We even had a song for him, it wasn't "Warburtons Blue and White Army" though. Look how that turned out! This latest appointment of a Portuguese guy with a crap CV doesn't faze me at all...I've learned not to be too disappointed or overly joyous about a new manager coming in, just that I now have to wait and hope it turns out as good as, or rather not as bad as Rangers managers from the past. I can't even pronounce the new guys name...
  12. Away you! That's how it was for me mate!
  13. What is Jimmy saying to Dave here? Auld Jimmy was fashionable all his life no problem...Big Dave looks a right p***k with that '70's jacket Bet Dave was wearing bell-bottoms and platform shoes too! Jimmy must have been telling him..."Son...you better turn up on Saturday my boy or else!"
  14. Actually it's not! In 2000 Filthy buggers won 6-2 at breeze block...Rangers won 5-1 in the return! Best comeback EVER!
  15. The guy was on STV tonight saying a DoF was a waste of money and would be better spent on building a team! Can you believe this guy? Someone who took almost a million in wages out of the clubs pocket when doing absolute zilch to earn it? McCoist is a greedy man and shouldn't be anywhere near opinions on how Rangers should conduct their business.
  16. ...he mentions 'a deliberate attempt to turn fans against him' FFS!!! Just pass me the pills now...!
  17. 6-1??? Sutton will be on soon saying Paris cheated !!!
  18. Has there been a change to games outside the CL not being shown live when CL games are on? Last seasons Killie vs Rangers (periscope) Scottish Cup replay was blacked out for this reason, yet I see Sky are showing Man City/Stoke match?
  19. Not sure by rushing someone in now would be of benefit. Murty seems to, imo, have steadied the ship (with his helper) and it would be better for all if announcements, if any, are made after Sundays game is over.
  20. Hope we stop their tainted treble with a Waggy hand ball which ricochets off the refs arse into the net in the 90+4th minute!
  21. A positive assessment by one of the Scottish rags for a change. Cringed as this bit though... Aaaargh! Bloody papers up here at times.
  22. 4th Old Firm Semi-Final in two years ?? I remember when both sides when in the last 4 of the cups they always missed each other. Changed days indeed.
  23. If truth be told we felt at the time a good candidate for the job, he was experienced in the cut throat life of business and enhanced his position in football in taking Brentford up a big notch or two after doing great things in developing young footballers. Incredibly with a CV like that it was felt he had to come to Rangers then everything went from high to low...a disaster with disastrous consequences kicked off with his signing of Barton and not having the guts to confront his mistake, short introduction to real management ultimately ending in failure! Now he wants to take us for a ride! Stick yer dunces hat where the sun don't shine Mark!
