    So let me get this straight. Ashley wants to sell Newcastle for £230m because he'll get more of a realistic chance of glory, and in turn, more money with Rangers. If this is the case, would the potential buyers of Newcastle United not be better advised to simply buy Rangers for much less then?

    He wont go back there, ever, he's too busy looking for a job down south with some help from BBC MOTD. If you listen to him he actually sounds as if he knows all about the game, maybe he does.

    Just my observation. I hear the draw for this round took place 'live' on BBC Scotland RADIO??? That can be fixed very easily. If Police Scotland told the SFA/SPFL not to produce a midweek old firm match for safety reasons then both teams will be kept apart for that reason, I suspect that's why the draw was on radio and not tv, there was nothing to stop BBC tv from making the draw after the Hearts game last night other than how difficult it would be to 'fix-it' If both teams get through and meet in the semis that will be more easy to police as they'll meet on a Saturday or Sunday most definitely with an early k.o. Also as some have already said on here - there's no need to fear them, they aren't playing all that well and meeting them this season would not result in a hammering for us, the game would be close with maybe us just losing out aet.

    Yes an accident waiting to happen no doubt. That picture of stairway 19 does show you the 'dangers' of leaving a match at the time which was the same all over British football grounds. I remember coming out of Hampden in the 1975 after a cup final v Hearts being lifted off my feet, as I left the ground by the surge of fans leaving...and that was SIX years after the Ibrox disaster. Stairway 13 was not so much steeper but longer.

    I sometimes use a site called NewsNow to get latest news on Rangers and there's a link that comes up often to a site called SCOTZINE. Some words of advice lads don't ever click on it, it's very anti-Rangers. You can stop it appearing on NewsNow by hovering you pointer over it's link and you'll get a wee message if you want to 'hide' it. Sorted, you won't get it back on your screen. You can do this with any stuff you don't fancy, I've done this with the Daily Record one as well because I can't stand that rag.

    Yeah I'm really excited about this boy, his performances are way above everyone else in the side. Probably first name on the team sheet every week I'd imagine. Would be extra nice if we can say that about another starlet soon.

    Just checked Juve won 2-0 and Real won FIVE one, Crowd at Ibrox witnessed 1-0:thup:

    Juve won 3-2 Arsenal got stuffed 0-2 I think Real won 4-1 but Ibrox did look empty

    No excuses from me mate, hope I'm not being intrusive but I couldn't care less if there are other games on when Rangers are playing I'll always pick ONE team to go see regardless I will forever follow MY team...how did the CL go tonight btw?
