The City Of Glasgow Cup Final 2015 - Showing On Rangers TV
Bearman replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Young enthusiastic up and coming footballers should not be playing in an empty 50,000 capacity stadium. The game up here is f*cked. -
Rangers great McCoist deserves hero's welcome on Ibrox return
Bearman replied to pete's topic in Rangers Chat
Now that we are in safe hands McCoist is comfortable filling his pockets at our expense. The media couldn't care less about this scandal and McCoist walks about minted for nothing, great country we live in that sees foodbanks growing. Would I do that? Never! Even if my life depended on it. Rangers are just another football club who are there to serve the community like all football clubs all over the world do, to milk and furnish yourself over that tradition is a criminal act. Football is full of money grabbers...McCoist is taking it to a different level. As if we didn't have enough problems right now. Rangers forever. WATP -
No doubt this forum will be filled in the coming months with distaste towards McCall as manager whether it be in the top league or this one. I believe Stuart McCall will still be in place as our manager regardless of whether it's here or up in the Premiership, talk of others to replace him is a dead end business, support the man, give him the time to prove himself under more favourable and correct circumstances, our board of directors have that faith, let's respect their decision for once.
-
What else can he do? It's pretty short notice for McCall to suddenly make us better, he's taken on a responsibility no other Rangers manager has had to do. In days gone by a new Rangers manager has had the luxury of signing players immediately on appointment, not nowadays. the players he inherited he has improved to an extent, maybe not turned them into world class but he has improved them. It's rather unfair to judge McCall's quality as manager where he has had to work with the same dross left by the previous manager. If Alex Ferguson had come in he'd have had the same grief with our squad of players, particularly the more experienced ones, just like McCall is finding. What the hell can McCall do more?

Rangers manager Stuart McCall "sickened" by Lee McCulloch boos
Bearman replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Super Ally got some real booing in his time and I don't mind admitting I was one of them, for those who were too young to remember Coisty's early days at the club he was RANK!! A terrible waste of a jersey!!! Hated the guy. He was shite Ally who became Super Ally and it was really amazing in how he turned it all around. McCulloch is well past his best and should hold his hands up and announce his retirement now. It would then present McCall with some tough decisions to make as we move into the play-offs. McCulloch RULES at Ibrox and maybe has too much influence for our own good. -
If we go up we could tempt him back, but if we remain in the Championship he won't come.

Nothing will ever be gained by it, It's just frustration mate and I can understand why it happened. -

Total frustration from the fans, the boob by Jig was just another from him and he deserved it, if it had been say McGregor or Wallace or one of the youngsters they wouldn't have been boo'd, if Mohsni was playing and he done that then he'd have got the treatment McCulloch got, if it was Law he'd have felt the wrath of the supporters, Black if he was on the park making that error he would have got the same abuse, it's because these guys have basically let us down all season and it was such a vital game today. -
On this day (25th) 1964 Rangers completed a unique 'Treble Treble Treble' when they defeated Dundee 3-1 in the Scottish Cup Final. Firstly, the victory brought a clean sweep of Scotland's major honours of League Championship, League Cup and Scottish Cup. 'The Treble' Secondly, it was the third year in succession we lifted that Cup, having already won it in '62 & '63. A 'Treble' And thirdly it also set a record no other club have ever managed - 3 cup wins in succession for a third time in Scottish Cup history having previously achieved this remarkable feat in '34 '35 & '36 and again in '48 '49 & '50. A 'Treble' Incidentally only three other clubs have won the Scottish Cup in 3 successive years: Queens Park (2) - 1874/75/76 and 1880/81/82 Vale of Leven - 1877/78/79 Aberdeen - 1982/83/84 Footnote: Only 2 players played in every single game of that 1963-64 season, keeper Billy Ritchie and the 21 years old John Greig. 12 years after that historic cup win John Greig captained Rangers, (astonishingly he was the only player in the squad to play every single game that season) to their 3rd 'Treble' - No other club to this day have won three Trebles. 2 years later Big John aged 35 got his own personal record when he won 'The Treble' yet again for a third time in his incredible career, a record we can safely say will never ever be broken by any individual anywhere in the four corners of world football. Since then Rangers have won three more 'Trebles' in '93 '00 & '03, bringing their total to a stupendous 7. Seven seriously good Rangers teams over the course of 143 years.

Mike Ashley takes on SFA over £7,500 fine for dual ownership
Bearman replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Not sure how you can say that pete. Ashley for all his evils could have put us back at the top of Scottish football in no time, because of his preference to keep mum about all his dealings he may well have wiped the floor with the opposition in this country cementing a place in the CL and all that. He wants worldwide success for his Sports Direct baby, something he's never quite gained with Newcastle FC, maybe he bought the wrong club. The SFA stopped him because they are 'Celtic minded' people, can't have a billionaire involved in Rangers and taking over our organisation and all that. -

It really is very sad in this proud wee country of ours we have pee brained individuals like him. Bigotry at it's worse. -

He's a rich arrogant so and so taking on the 'joke' that is Scottish football. Two things: He likes taking on sad wee organisations, and I'm glad in a way it's the SFA. -
It's been stinking for some time, without the carry-on for poor Meeking...(Meeking/Stinking?) Couldn't make it up.
-
The current Scottish football 'men' in charge would never let SAF anywhere near their mantle.
-
What is important is that the tim keeper conceded a penalty when his team were leading 1-0 got sent off reducing his side to ten men (these things happen in football)...the opposition scored from the penalty then went 2-1 up against the ten men in extra-time only to be dragged back from a direct free kick. ICT were now looking at a penalty shoot-out if they didn't score same for timmy...ICT scored before the end and the tims cry 'CHEAT' Always cheated Never defeated. I remember Rangers in a cup final going down to NINE men and still managing to win. (it wasn't that long ago)
-
Sympathy? Confusion? Who are these folk running our game? The tims got pumped out the cup...simples.

10 years from now the SPL will start with everyone on minus 25 points, except C*ltic. -
It's only three quid Ian...but another rise TOO FAR, I'm chucking them now because I can get everything I want on 'dodgy' streams anyway.
-
All clubs progressed to the semi-finals of the Europa League tonight...Fiorentina will be happy it's only Dnipro, Napoli or holders Seville who are possible opponents and that Rangers aren't in there this time also that Nacho has retired.
-
Which really explains the reason why my sky subscription is being increased by 3 quid a month in a recent letter that popped through my letterbox

McCall: Shane Ferguson has 'lifted' Rangers despite not making debut yet
Bearman replied to pete's topic in Rangers Chat
I know the thread is regards to Ferguson but it's turned into another Vuckic discussion, so I'll put my tuppence worth in...Vuckic has been a breath of fresh air which has resulted in a slight increase in attendances. -
McCall thought Hardie was in the McCoist mould before Rangers arrival
Bearman replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
McCall is actually saying he is better than Coisty!!! Massive words of encouragement for the lad, let's hope he's right... -
From the official site... "The new home shirt includes traditional club colours with the T7 stripe on shoulders and sleeve in a contrast colour to optimize freedom of movement and improve fit. The home shirt also features contemporary cut-lines, a new tapered silhouette and innovative neckline with colour inserted panel, along with contrast colour panels under the arms. This T7 stripe detail is mirrored on the shorts, while the socks are, as always, traditionally styled to pay homage to the club's heritage while engineered to provide comfort and support in key areas." ...the socks are all-white http://www.rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/item/9111-home-kit-2015-16-launch?
