New management team: Mark Warburton and David Weir
Bearman replied to gisabeer's topic in Rangers Chat
We are cannon fodder for all creepy media guys with a paper to sell...we are cannon fodder as long as silence comes from the board. If Real Madrid can sack their manager why is it a problem for us? Why are the media in this country allowed to print shite before you can even wipe your arse? -

Another example of 'gutter press' for the sake of it. A non-story which will grow arms and legs unless those in charge at Rangers have something to say.... Herald Scotland: Scotland throw their weight behind Stuart McCall as Rangers leave him hanging on "STUART McCALL has been given assurances that he has a cast-iron role within the Scotland coaching set-up whether Rangers want him or not."...more if you GAF... http://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/football/scotland-throw-their-weight-behind-stuart-mccall-as-rangers-leave-him-hanging-on.127987535? -
Sandaza is welcome to the 2nd divisio in Spain...couldn't cut it out here in the 3rd division, and his love of money far outweighed his hatred for the club's traditions. Nicky Clark had a far better record playing outwith us as opposed to playing for us than practicing catholic Sandaza with massive chip on shoulder an' all that. McCoist signed him

So far all I've read is newspaper speculation, is there anything official coming from the club? If we are looking for a new manager why has McCall not been released from his duties? Paper talk is simply that - paper talk. I'll believe it all when the club announce their intentions, not when multi media folk clamour for the best story. -
The FA Cup is over rated by England's media (oldest cup in the world) All the really big clubs down there don't rate it except for Arsenal, who are the only big club who have never won the CL despite qualifying for it more than most. Chelsea, Man U and Man C have bigger fish to fry, the CL is the one and only, the Premier League is on a par. You're always guaranteed to get a 'diddy team' in the FA Cup final like Aston Villa.

Last seasons play-off saw Hamilton lose at home in the 1st Leg 0-2 going away from home as total underdogs. If Hamilton can do it then so can Rangers. Never thought I'd ever use Hamilton Accies as an example to set, but there you go.

Serious question Bud: Who would like to see offered/take on the job within reason?...Maybe you have already answered this in another thread and I've missed it so apologies in advance.

There is absolutely no way we are out of this...wait and see.

I think we all agree the team is not Rangers standard, but having a pop at McCall because of that is not fair.

Falkirk's other victory in the Scottish Cup came in 1913...Villa also won the FA Cup that year too. Falkirk have just equalised against 10 man ICT....if they get their name on the trophy again this year, I'm tipping Villa to beat The Gunners Edit: ICT have just gone 2-1 up with 4 mins left....I'm tipping Arsenal now.

Our journey over the recent past has been nothing less than 'torture' Sasa Papac never even entered my mind when thinking back to the good days. He may well not have reached Superstar status but he was a good Ranger who played for the jersey. Having a go at ex-players shouldn't be in your baggage mate.

Very rare footage of Rangers two goals v Wolves in semi final of the first European Cup Winners Cup. Rangers went through to the Final on a 3-1 aggregate. [video=youtube_share;L-AfOC08WXk]http://youtu.be/L-AfOC08WXk

After the ball hit the bar (and I have this on good authority) it travelled out of the field of play before a seagull thought it was some grub...on pecking the ball it re-entered the field of play causing the ball to come back into play and ending up in the net. Goal line technology proved (as it does) the seagull was reared by a certain Lionel Messi and for that reason only the goal stood.

Comparing him to Charlie fucking Adam speaks volumes hen.

I too think McCall will get the gig next season...so he's picking his players for the Premiership onslaught in 2015/16. It better be the Premiership or he's got other players for the 2nd tier to consider. It's a bit of a sticky wicket for McCall just now, he want's us in the Premiership so he can go for his men but may lose his job regardless. In the interest of us going forward it would be better to keep McCall in place for now even if we go up, but there are others who want a change there when we go up. Difficult to argue with opinions from both sides, but from me personally I'd like to think Stu takes us up and gets the chance to stamp his authority in the job. I have a lot of faith in Stuart McCall as manager taking us forward and to greater things, don't think for one minute he's not the right man, time will tell of course. Let's just say we all beg to differ and McCall takes us further than we ever expected...could happen. I remember being felt 'let down' when a certain Mr Smith got the job way back when we were good, ok things aren't as good as back in that day, but in reflection McCall has lifted the club into expectation more than hope.

It be great to be in a tug of war with those who hide their real history, if they want him then let them, if not then we'll take him. He's a very exceptional player of that there is no doubt but I don't see the really big clubs including the 2nd tier in England hunting him. He'll do me considering the grief of Black, Mohsni, Boyd and the likes of Zaliukas who've managed a foot in the door.

Former Rangers boss Advocaat ends career in club football
Bearman replied to pete's topic in Rangers Chat
I'm gutted the man has called it a day He brought great times for us and even when we lost the EUFA cup final I was respectful of him as the man who stopped us winning it, fate an' all that. Best wishes to him on his next move. -
I was meaning his delivery from corners and dead ball situations, he'd be good for that if we had some decent finishers whether it's from defenders or tall centre forwards, it's his delivery I like, what position he plays? I don't know about that mate.

Then we have Rangers who are in a completely different situation than Real or Schalke will ever find themselves in. There is no way we will get the guys we are looking at until after Sunday. Wonder if we are looking at plan B if plan A goes pear shaped?
-
Ha, brilliant man! Never seen that one before, had me in stitches. ...After it comes back out ...back out from where?

I can understand why anybody would start a thread on 'Potential Signings' pre-ejaculation cums to mind Why not wait a little, like take your time instead of stampeding straight for the clitores. Getting past Motherwell should be easy but hold back until the 'job is done' ffs!

A very good player who caused us problems in the 1st leg at Ibrox...is he good enough for us in the Premiership? I'd say he is.
