  1. That's a good shout. This is not fantasy, this is real.... Big 5 Table Liverpool 1 1 0 0 1 0 3 Man Utd 1 1 0 0 1 0 3 Chelsea 1 0 1 0 2 2 1 Man City 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 Arsenal 1 0 0 1 0 2 0
  2. Thanks for all the responses guys. Here's the general feeling about Vuckic coming to Rangers... not an out and out striker don't believe he's Warburtons kind of player He's a luxury we don't need out of our price range he wouldn't work hard enough, don't see him fitting into this workaholic system. shouldn't be touching any Newcastle players It would be a deal we can't afford and der berliner I don't know how much money would finance Austin going the other way. Interesting views on why we should not sign this player.
  3. I know it's a touchy subject regards the 'Newcastle connection' but personally speaking I think he'd fit it perfectly into our team. The fans would welcome him back I'm sure, knowing he'd bring some panache to our journey. He's clever, skilful and honest into the bargain.
  4. This is not an exclusive. The guy done good for us when he was here and seemed to tie in and enjoy his football. There's talk of him moving to QPR in exchange for Charlie Austin although not confirmed. W&W would never count anything out. Would you like to see him back?
  5. Kenny Miller under proper guidance has shown throughout his career he can score easily. He's getting on a bit now without losing too much of his ability. Nicky Clark looks up to him and learns from him. Nicky looked a bit lost without him tonight don't you think? Miller after just 2 games produced big time under new management. Kenny after all his big moves and money rewards still looks better than anything we've had since Boyd/Jelavic.
  6. It would great if fans had a multiple of cards like when the ref made an arse of a call or some opposition player fouled one of our players or one when the BBC turned up. Today's technology is far behind.
  7. Enjoy. Looking forward to your learned reports elfideldo.
  8. In fairness it was by no means a high security game, but I get your point about the length of time it took for the 'yellow tops' to make their move. Probably choked on their pies and cokes when they saw the moron stroll on.
  9. This will be the biggest crowd St Mirren have played in front of for many years. Should make great viewing for the non hating neutral watching on BT Sports. Another good performance will do nicely thank you.
  10. GS could have a valid point, it would do away with awful newspaper headline: The Loan Ranger
  11. Out of the 5 teams they could have drawn I thought on paper Malmo were the toughest, but since I know nothing about any of them then I could be wrong. Swedish sides always pose a problem for anyone.
  12. Maybe elfideldo is on holiday From official site, http://www.rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/item/9798-17s-head-for-glamour-tournament? 17s Head For Glamour Tourney RANGERS under-17s travel to Liverpool this weekend for a glamour tournament as they step-up their preparations for their new season. The youngsters begin their competitive campaign next weekend against Aberdeen, but they will face the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and hosts Liverpool this week on Merseyside, and the challenge of facing top-class opposition is something that excites their coach Billy Kirkwood. Speaking to RangersTV.tv, he said: “We’re really looking forward to it and it’s a new experience for us all, including myself to have five games in three days against good opposition. “It’s a different environment, travelling down on the bus and staying there for a few nights, and that should help the boys to get to know me and I’ll get to know them, so we’re going to use it as a positive experience. “The three games are an hour long with two halves of 30 minutes, so we can rotate round 18 players, and we will use it as a build-up to our first game of the season next weekend against Aberdeen at home.” The new 4-3-3 formation a Rangers has also been introduced at 17’s level, and while Kirkwood has been happy so far with how his players have adapted, he’s looking forward to seeing how his players cope against the very best standard of opposition at the under-17 age group. He continued: “Very much so. With our new style of play, we’re looking forward to going to play teams who might have the ball a lot more than us. “It’s a great learning experience for me and the players, and we can take a lot out of this. “It’s different teams in a different environment, so it will be interesting to see how they adapt when they have the ball and when we get the ball, it will be important that we retain it and try to impose our style of play on them. “Hopefully it’s a case of “best v best” and it will be a learning curve for them, so we’re going there with our eyes wide open and hopefully we come back with a lot of things we can take into the new season.” The tournament will see Rangers play five matches over three days against Liverpool, Spurs, Charlton, Stabaek and AIK Stockholm, and while admitting the quick-fire nature of the games isn’t ideal, Kirkwood is hopeful his charges will adapt. He explained: “In a perfect world, we probably wouldn’t do it, but the fact it’s a tournament and we have the likes of Liverpool and Spurs there, means it’s important we go down there with an open mind. “I’m looking for the style of play to continue as it has so far, and also to give some lads game-time to build their fitness. “We’ve got a good youthful squad to rotate round, and hopefully they can get an idea of what it’s like to play against so-called better opposition.”
  13. Celtic have drawn Malmo, first leg at the P Drome.
  14. If Mark Warburton wants a certain player for the team then that'll do me.
  15. Probably best we never sign another player for say the next 5 years?
  16. He could make the difference for winning the cup and qualifying for Europe.
  17. Don't Miss Tonight's Programme. TONIGHT’S official matchday programme is again packed full with interviews with your favourite Rangers stars - and exclusive photos. With St Mirren the opponents at Ibrox for the first Ladbrokes Championship fixture of 2015/16 campaign, there is an extended interview with Mark Warburton. The manager gives his thoughts on the progress his squad is making and discusses his hopes and aspirations for the season ahead. One of Warburton’s first summer signings, Rob Kiernan, is featured on the cover, and inside the powerful defender expresses his delighted after recent wins over Hibs and Peterhead. With over 32,000 season tickets now sold, he is also excited at the prospect of running out in front of a packed Ibrox this evening and battling for three points against Ian Murray’s men. Also in the programme, Darren McGregor provides light-hearted answers to a range of questions sent in by fans via Facebook, Twitter and email in ‘On The Spot’. For ‘Journo’s View’ the Herald’s Graeme Mcpherson gives the lowdown on the Buddies from Paisley who, just on Tuesday, bolstered their squad by signing former Ger Calum Gallagher. Club Historian David Mason is back for another season in club's matchday publication, and tonight he focuses on the Manager’s Office at the top of the Marble Staircase, which, he recalls, became a home from home for Rangers’ legendary boss Bill Struth. Also in tonight’s issue is an interview with Development coach Ian Durrant, ‘The Big Interview’ with Sir Alex Ferguson, a tricky quiz and crossword to test your footie knowledge, On This Day, Junior Gers, Andy Cameron and 'The Last Word' with Rangers’ Managing Director Stewart Robertson All this and much, much more can be found in the first Championship programme of the new season, price just £3. Don’t miss it! http://www.rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/item/9793-dont-miss-tonights-programme?
  18. Who organised the photo shoot? Does it help the ongoing police investigation at all?
  19. Yeah, just checked their line-up. The EPL might be the 'best league in the world' but the fans of West Ham must be pretty p*ssed off tonight.
  20. I'm none the wiser...what's the 'very significant twist'?
  21. Complacency taking over when facing Rangers?
