  5. Just saw a replay of that, it was a hand ball by a Malmo defender, the official behind the goal called the foul thinking it must have been one of their players
  6. When did a knee to the knackers merit just a yellow? Griffiths lucky to still be on the park.
  7. 23rd Min: GOAL - Malmo 1-0
  8. Read our match report from the victory here: http://rng.rs/1JtXR2L IAN Durrant’s under-20s remain unbeaten in the SPFL Development League after a thoroughly deserved victory over Inverness Caledonian Thistle tonight. Goals from Dylan Dykes and Robbie Crawford were enough to overcome the long-travelled Highlanders who only arrived at the Cheaper Insurance Direct Stadium a mere 30 minutes prior to the scheduled 6pm kick-off. Rangers early domination of the ball was truly something to behold, and it took them just seven minutes to breach the Caley backline. Great work from the impressive Josh Jeffries saw him find the stretching Dylan Dykes on the edge of the area, and his shot had enough power on it to beat the outstretched arm of goalkeeper Daniel Hoban to put Ian Durrant’s youngsters ahead. Inverness had nothing in answer to Rangers great early play in the opening minutes, but they were close to a leveller on their first foray forward as Calum Ferguson brought the best out of Robby McCrorie when his shot from the right was wonderfully turned behind for a corner. From the resulting kick, Jason Brown was left unmarked on the penalty spot but he could only find only McCrorie’s arms with his shot as Rangers were served a reminder that there were actually two teams in the game. At the other end, the other McCrorie – Ross – came close to making it 2-0 when he picked up a corner at the back post before dancing around the attentions of defender Cameron Gilchrist and firing towards goal but he found only the arms of Hoban who gathered comfortably. Fraser Aird once again found himself stationed at right-back, but he took every opportunity given to him to break forward and he came close to a spectacular goal with a 25-yard shot which slipped just over the top of the bar. The half-hour mark almost saw Rangers extend their advantage thanks to a comical moment at the back from Inverness. Gilchrist’s ball back to Hoban was far too strong and only the intervention of the panicked defender to pluck his own ball off the goalline prevented his side falling further behind. The final chance of the first half fell again to Aird with a free-kick from 25-yards, and while he got it up and down over the defensive wall, Hoban had no trouble in gathering the effort. The second half began with two wing attacks from firstly Andy Murdoch and then Scott Roberts – who skipped by two Inverness players in the process – but on both occasions there were no takers for their crosses across the six-yard line. The pressure continued to build however from Rangers, and they made it 2-0 two minutes short of the hour mark through Robbie Crawford. Fraser Aird took a quick corner out on the far side and found Crawford just inside the area. After feigning once to shoot, his second effort sailed by Hoban and into the back of the net to give Durrant’s boys a richly deserved two-goal advantage. Crawford came within a whisker of making it three seconds later with a speculative effort from 25 yards, but it was just over the top of the bar once again. The intense pace of the game was always going to take its toll at some point, and sure enough the temp began to drop and the goalmouth action dried up, although Caley almost found a route back into the game when Alasdair Sutherland found space for a shot but Robby McCrorie gathered with ease. But 2-0 it finished in the most comfortable of fashion, and the youngsters now prepare for the visit of Motherwell next Tuesday. RANGERS: Robby McCrorie, Aird, Halkett, Ross McCrorie, White, Murdoch, Thompson, Dykes (Ashmore, 74), Jeffries (Lyon, 61), Crawford, Roberts (Trialist, 74). 10. I hate myself for this....the teams are oot!
  11. Hate watching their games, will force myself with the confidence I have that they'll get beaten by a couple of goals at least.
  12. Nice one...
  13. Should have mentioned this when I got back on last night. At 8pm last night after posting in the footy chat section I experienced the same thing as what happened on Friday, the site was unavailable, I tried many times over the next hour eventually gaining access. Thing is, when I did get back on I noticed other posters had been active during this period, anybody else experience this last night?
  14. This player scored for fun in this division when playing for QOS two years ago. He didn't quite hit the mark last year under Ally and has yet to find his feet under Warburton. He has shown he has a knack for goals previously, a precious weapon for any side. Do you think he has the ability to shine given time? Is he the type to deliver what we are crying out for? Nicky Clark has already proved he knows where the goals are, why is it not happening for him at Rangers?
  15. Cech was the best on the park his saves were top drawer what you'd expect. Mignolet made some too.
  16. Rangers captain Lee Wallace tipped for Scotland recall for Euro 2016 qualifiers LEE WALLACE has been tipped to win a Scotland recall. The Rangers captain, has been in outstanding form this season but was not selected by national manager Gordon Strachan for next month’s Euro 2016 qualification double-header against Georgia and Germany. Wallace, 28, won the last of his eight Scotland caps against the USA in November 2013. But Ibrox boss Mark Warburton, who yesterday released Darren McGregor by mutual consent, believes it’s only a matter of time before Wallace is called up by his country if he maintains his current form. Warburton said: “From the first minute of pre-season this year Lee has been first-class. “He works hard and has been made captain for a reason. “We thought long and hard about it and spoke to him about the responsibility of it and what was involved. “If he has not been called up he can’t be far away, not that I would tell a national manager what to do. “He’s got all the ability and he’s getting stronger by the day. “Look at his level of performances. He’s getting forward and scoring goals, he’s very happy with the role and our formation. We’re enjoying working with him. He’s got the ear of the squad which a captain needs to have. We are lucky to have him.” http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/600497/Rangers-Lee-Wallace-Scotland-recall-Euro-2016-qualifiers It would be a great boost to all Rangers fans to see one of their own represent their Country in a Major Finals as before. Lee Wallace is certainly worthy of a place at the top table.
  17. He would have loved his charming 'Scotch' patter
  18. Daly epitomises all those dark days recently past. A useless waste of time, a complete disaster.
  19. History will tell he did a helluva job during the 'Troubled Years' He was a terrible manager and had to guide the ship with scumbags running the club, he was there when Whyte, Green and Lambias and all that shit were raping us. Why he's taking the Blue Pound now only time will tell.
  20. He might be a guy with morals, knowing what he made from his stint with Rangers more than justified what he contributed (including training)
  21. I thought McCoist resigned in November not December?
  22. Wouldn't read too much into what Arsenal do in training, watched them tonight and they looked nothing like world beaters, very ordinary against a mediocre Liverpool side.
  23. Been quite common for quite a while mate. 'Rank' as you say means 'rotten' it stems from 'The Rank Organisation' founded by industrialist J. Arthur Rank which produced awful British made films during the 30's 40's 50's 60's and 70's. We used to say (when one dropped one) "You are J Arthur Rank"...this was later whittled down to a simple "You are Rank"
  24. Game finished 0-0...pretty crap game tbh
