As we have seen, King likes to challenge a contract, but he reckons McCoist's one entitles him to be paid in full. Perhaps he is simply rewarding him for being his eyes and ears within the club. Doubt we'll ever know the reasoning.
The length of contract is probably down to the fact that he hasn't previously been able to hold down a place for any length of time. I see it as a positive act which is a million miles away from some of the previous ways of signing players.
If Warburton fails to gain promotion in his first season, a large section of the support will put pressure on the board to make changes. Long-term vision will go out the window.
You are just pissed off because they don't conform to the ideal of what a Rangers supporter should be according to that wee (now defunct?) committee that you were a part of. You talk of 'stupid new songs' yet it was you who argued for many of the 'old songs' to be discarded by the support. Can't have it both ways.
I'm not ranting. I made a perfectly reasonable point about the popularity of, or lack of, the Scottish game on UK television. You were the one who jumped in feet first seeing what you wanted to see.
When the sound of the battle is over
It's shoulder to shoulder we'll stand...
Aye, right ye are. The pettiness and downright arrogance displayed by some beggars belief. "If you want to support Rangers, you must do it the same way as me." It's pathetic.
When I need lifestyle advice from some random on the internet, I'll be sure to holler in your direction. Now, can we get back to these viewing figures?
You're the one who appears to have got het up over me making an observation on the low figures.
Please accept my apologies as I had assumed that these were UK figures and not just for Scotland. They are far healthier than I first imagined. Are there comparative figures to show the picture nationally and to see how popular the game is outside it's own borders?
