    Of course, everyone can hold a personal view, but when those views are critical of the very people that elected them to where they are, then they should either be kept private, or, if made public, expect them to be publicised and challenged. None of this has anything to do with your personal thoughts, or mine for that matter, on Ashley, the UoF or attending matches, so let's not try to veer away from the matter at hand.

    I formed an opinion based on the comments made, and those previously made. I won't apologise for doing so. Belittling the actions of a group within the support is not what I would expect from a fan representative, whatever their personal position on the politics of it all. They are in position to promote those types of issues, obtain answers from the club and find solutions to the concerns of those they speak for.

    There was something mentioned in a newspaper article yesterday about market rules requiring an interview process to take place, so that might explain the charade.

    If Ashley has indeed bought the stadium naming rights, and there has been nothing proffered to refute the veracity of Sandy's words, then there may have been an agreement reached between the parties, but Nash couldn't have blocked anything.

    If true, and if he was serious about bidding, why has there not been a challenge to the decision of the board? Was it merely last minute desperation from King, made in the hope of gaining some more time?

    Nothing, as I don't think his offer was as strong as is being reported in the statements from SoS and UoF. If those making the bids don't have anything to say on their failure, the fan groups are pissing in the wind if they think they will have any great effect.

    What does Kennedy's bid and meek acceptance of it's failure have to do with Ashley and litigation? The board turned down his offer.

    Thanks. If he thought that they had been shafted, I would have expected a bit more than that bland release. Kennedy loves getting himself a mention and a bit of free publicity.

    An SoS statement can't be relied upon to be accurate. Not a peep from King or Kennedy speaks volumes to me.

    The part of King's plan that was unclear was how he was going to achieve the conditions that he required for the deal to go through. Have the full details been given on Kennedy's alternative? Has he even made a statement?
