  1. Third time lucky? This mob are far too clever to stray over the line.
  2. The real targets are the shareholders who are pulling the strings of the directors. All the while they are getting income, they will continue to take, take, take. Something has to give.
  3. I'm sure that they do understand it. Those currently running the club don't fare any better when scrutinised.
  4. The warm glow after hammering the Buckie blots out the bad stuff for a few hours.
  5. I won't be banking on that happening any time soon, Frankie. They would have been well aware of how the Stockbridge revelations would be received but chose to take the hit when it was announced.
  6. The call for people to attend game by game makes no sense in financial terms, but demands for a total boycott would only have alienated a large number of those who signed up reluctantly.
  7. Everyone appears to have been duped by the clever word play, but it must be a tad more embarrassing for a high flyer in the world of finance.
  8. I could look into it further, provide a list of names for many clubs and you would still dismiss it all, so to save time I will pose you one question: What is stopping Rangers from being one of those skinny Mexicans?
  9. I posted a random fact about players doing well for the USA. I included their ages. That was it.
  10. His first sub(20) was MOTM, his second sub(19) scored the goal which set up the frantic finish.
  11. The stars should have been like the current signing policy - a one-year deal.
  12. Fabregas, Alba, Iniesta, Xavi, Puyol, and some guy called Lionel Messi. Figo, Nani, Quaresma, Moutinho and some guy called Christiano Ronaldo. Bridge, Walcott, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Shaw and some guy called Gareth Bale. De Guzman, Martins Indi, Clasie, De Vrij and some guy called Robin van Persie. Robinho, Pepe, Coutinho, Neymar and some guy called Pele. Beckham, Scholes, Neville, Pique and some guy called Ryan Giggs. De Boer, van Basten, Bergkamp, Vemailed and some guy called Johan Cruyff. A mixture of past and present, also using clubs of varying size. The bottom line is that if the will, the expertise, the finances and the planning is there, major successes can be achieved. Small club game indeed.
  13. I saw it as more of a focal point for bringing pressure to bear. I don't for a second think that Dave King would have been wagering on them meeting those demands.
  14. He didn't play them even after the league was sewn up, so a whole cup run was never a goer.
  15. Talking of grillings, was there ever any public release of the VB report from their meeting with the board(s)?
  16. Best taking it to PM if you want to keep things exclusively between 'friends'. I fail to see what effect others have on you if you are not present. Live and let live.
  17. No, they should be afforded the same rights as you to choose what they do with their own time and money.
  18. The little Somers/Stockbridge show at the AGM now looks like it was scripted beforehand in order to mislead everyone. Telling the truth, just not all of it.
  19. Apparently sent from Somers in reply to an email from someone on FF. Club statement to follow shortly. Don't shoot the messenger.
  20. He took one for the team just short of six months ago. Notice period?
  21. I was previously unsure, but that tweet says to me that insiderman is the latest incarnation from Irvine. The brothers are on the same team as Stockbridge and will have known what he had secured for himself.
  22. The game to game crowds will vary greatly. Holidays, midweek games, poor winter weather, Christmas/NY, crap opposition ....they will all have a detrimental effect on numbers.
