  1. The one that is used to disguise personal animosities from previous dealings as the real reason for wanting it to flop.
  2. While it can't do any harm, it won't do much more than highlight the depth of the problem to a wider audience, perhaps converting a few undecideds along the way. Those controlling things have continually demonstrated that they show scant regard to the wishes or feelings of any fan. I don't think that anyone attending the match will be unaware that it is all about ownership, but if you have the solution to getting rid of the vultures from the club, contact the UoF. You will be feted by thousands.
  3. Worth it to see Uri getting all indignant. He should have been flattered that anyone found his work worthy of such plagiarism!
  4. Norway, Sweden and Finland all learned lessons from their own failures in the early 90s. Denmark was one of the economies worst affected by the recent crisis with the collapse of the housing market leading to many regional banks merging to save them from going under. Austrian banks are now coming under increasing pressure due to high amounts of lending to a struggling Eastern Europe, with one major bail out already this year.
  5. Use Canadian methods for conditioning athletes. What could go wrong?
  6. Given how much passion they arouse, it is only natural that a fan's football team will have a certain amount of influence on their personal politics. Various teams have political affiliations or have historically drawn their support from certain groups within the population. Rangers, Celtic, Beitar Jerusalem, Hapoel Tel Aviv, Livorno, Red Star Belgrade, Dinamo Zagreb, St. Pauli.....the list goes on.
  7. The introduction of Krul was inspired. None of the Costa Rica players would have known that he wasn't a specialist spot-kick stopper and the seeds of doubt were sown. Outstanding from LvG.
  8. McCoist presented Wallace with a scouting blueprint in mid-February. Five months later and still there is nothing new in place. Why can't the funding for it come out of the £5m of investment which is available from existing investors and can be accessed 'at the press of a button'?
  9. Charles Green stated that Neil Murray would not be replaced on a like for like basis because of 'what we now envisage for that role'. Looks like everything is still running to plan.
  10. And to think that there are people attacking him for taking this stance. I for one hope that he sticks to his guns and refuses to succumb to their ransom demands.
  11. Tabloid journalists sex up stories. That just about covers it. Perhaps the author of this long-winded, over-analysed pish is compiling the promised public report on the grilling they subjected the board to. That would certainly explain the delay.
  12. A maker of mischief, whether he is from the green camp or the Green camp.
  13. All this talk of 'a saviour' does nobody any good. Whyte was the one, then Green was crowned. FFS, give it a rest!
  14. Apologies if I called it wrong, I thought the guy in question had a successful business background. It wasn't even my intention to have a pop at him, I was just imagining how irate he must be to have been treated with such contempt.
  15. I keep banging on about it, but these people are proficient at what they do. Ambiguity is king.
  16. Only chance of that happening is if there is a) no promotion; or b) sale and lease back of the stadium or training centre. It has been shown beyond all doubt that run of the mill plundering and piss-poor football are acceptable to the majority of the support and are not reasons to withhold funds.
  17. Exactly, and there is little sign of it ever being resolved. It is what the likes of Irvine thrive on and makes life easy for those who wish to benefit financially.
  18. How much is Green liable to lose? Stockbridge? Anyone else who bought in for a penny?
  19. It was always going to happen given the deep division within the 'online' support. The scheme could have been the best thing since sliced bread, but for certain parties it would only ever be about the personalities behind it.
