The big difference tonight is the intense nature of the following 4 games where the usual suspects will be required to step up every time. Gio had to offload the regulars tonight. -

I think you have to allow Devine and Ridvan to settle themselves into the first XI jersey, in their customary positions. Nor give King the job of the only centre half in a back three. -

Good to see such wholesale changes. Only a shame McCann didn't get a start. -

Got that wrong as well 😂 In Scotland, it has been put back 23 or 24 hours because of games on the 31st. -

Poor wee Plzen !! Just a little behind Bayern, Barca and Inter. However, at those numbers, the Czechs probably have a player or two worth looking at. -

In the league, we do have to catch them up. They have a mgmt, a squad and system who have sussed out how to consistently win league matches. We will have to see if our current team can do what we failed to do last year. We are already behind and go to their place at the weekend. This match will give us a good idea of what our team can or can't achieve this season. The only decent run last season came after Gio arrived up until the almost certainly customery mini collapse in the league, post Xmas break. They get beaten by BoboGimp but win league matches. We put out Dortmund but drop points to the Arabs and Motherwell. One encouraging thing was a different approach to the home match against Ross County which worked. What we now need to see is a different approach to the match at the Brendanbeu (compared to February), that works. We don't want to be going to Aberdeen on a Saturday lunch time 5 points behind. -

We will soon find out how weak they are. -

Yes, but in Berghuis they have a more than adequate replacement fully integrated and ready to go. He played and scored a couple in their CL group campaign last season. They won all six games. Nothing to fear but a lot to respect. -
Mulgrew loves himself, more than Jack Ross. I reckon he'd lose the preverbial dressing room before Xmas and bomb.

Antony hasn't played in the last couple of their games. So they have already had to replace him from what they already have. Berghuis An experienced player with real ability. He looked decent for Feyenoord in the two matches (2019). -

I am fine with Devine taking up the understudy to Tav role. We have to start giving the younger lads a real pathway and reduce/reallocate the spend on back up options. -

They put us out of the Challenge Cup around 12/13 (at Ibrox on penalties). They also beat us 2 zip on the day McCoist resigned (2014). Another couple of score draws in the same season. -

Clearly a pro-immigration stance with your Zak and Zuk preference. Seriously, I don't know enough about any of them to form a useful opinion. Devine has done ok on the little I have seen of him. However, if reports are accurate and the Polish lad is about to leave, he shouldn't play. .😄 -
Brendan may soon be following in the footsteps of his prodigy to collect his P45.

Or can afford. Prices tend to come down a bit for some come the last day or two, especially those whose sell by date is in view or carry baggage. -

Things move fast prior to the end of the window. Maybe Gakpo will make his debut. Would add 10,000 to the gate. 😄 -

Lesson for the day Don't ship 9 goals ! Parker and Ross gone Not so sure Jack Ross will get another top flight job as manager without going down to the lower divisions to re-establish his reputation.
