He had his moments, especially the winner at Porkheid. Bestof luck to him. -

Might not start. Wright, Tillman and Kent might play with Colak up front. Lundstram and Kamara (or Davis) holding Curveball that won't happen, McCann A fit and firing Ryan Jack is a huge miss for this game. -

Thinking about that, not sure why he played the full 90 minutes last night. -

As Gunslinger said, Hatchet has an excellent record for such snippets of info. -

ITK poster on FF has said Lawrence is injured and out for a few weeks. Big blow with the upcoming games. You can't ask Tillman to do it twice a week or another injury will ensue. -

We'd have replaced Lundstram this time last year if the same conditions applied. That said, a young winger at Rangers has a difficult job on his hands and the majority can't stick it. The one who did, cost 7m. -

We desperately need a centre forward. We have three, two of which are unreliable. We also have the usual 2 games a week season that requires reliable depth. -

Alfredo holds the cards and can stay if he wants, running down the last year of his contract. What do we get from him is the question. A committed footballer, a half arsed approach or the customary, mixture of the two ? If he were to switch on to his professional side, it would be hugely helpful for our title aspirations. If not, he'd be better out of the building. The same conundrum since August 2018 but this time, entering the last year of his contract. We'd have been better to move him on 4 years ago IMO. -

Mine was worse, I got 3 points for predicting a 3-1 defeat whilst one predicting a 2-1 win got only 1 point, if they didn't have Colak as fgs. However, thems the roolz ! -

Impersonating a 20M pound footballer. Beneficiary of a chaotically awful Man Utd recruitment policy. -

The amount invested is obviously important, but It is mostly about getting recruitment right and picking the right players to fit in with what your aims are. Second spell, Walter could put together an experienced team that he could trust to carry out a game plan without having to think of a player trading model. He was allowed to bring in his players and generally got it right, especially in defence, eg. Cuellar, Weir, etc Over the City,...... with the controlling Peter out of the way, the Fat Aussie was given free reign to bring in his players, unfortunately he got his recruitment spot-on and after predictable teething problems they were able to overhaul us with consistent results and a mentality that could win OF league games. We need to get this window right so we can get automatic qualification for next season's CL. So far, we see some positive signs and some not so positive. I think we need more quality in depth middle to front or we'll continue to ship points in occasional frustrating draws against provincial pish that they will turn over. That brings us to the OF games. Saturday is massive and we can't allow them to lay down a marker and take a 5 point advantage. Good or/and bad, we'll find out a lot about our side at the weekend. -

To a degree, you gets what you pays for, eg. Sakala. Apparent bargains are more often than not, cut price for a reason. Selecting / developing the hidden gems is the difficult part. Matondo might yet come good. No choice now but to try and coach/motivate him into a better, more effective player. -

Aye, so far the hat contains.... Rangers Partick Thistle Dundee Aberdeen Livingston or Dundee Utd Hearts or Killie Ross County or Celtic Motherwell or Inverness The preverbial home draw please,.... against Ross County pretty please with cream on top -------------- From my starting XI, McCann was the player that missed out. Real shame, we know what Davis can do. McCann should have got at least 45 minutes. King is very good and I am happy for him to be considered as a first team player and get increasing exposure at that level. He is the type of player, at the type of age that could perform well for several years and then bring in a big fee if his contract is managed well. Devine as back up to Tav, no problem. No need for more backups at RB #pathway Ure is raw but is only 18 and has scored his first goal in the first team. -

I wonder why we don't look at more Czech players. There must be some decent quality at relatively good prices out there. -

The big difference tonight is the intense nature of the following 4 games where the usual suspects will be required to step up every time. Gio had to offload the regulars tonight. -

I think you have to allow Devine and Ridvan to settle themselves into the first XI jersey, in their customary positions. Nor give King the job of the only centre half in a back three.
