  1. A lot no, the highlights of a couple of games he played in.
  2. Various Losing possession and not great in the tackle. Mayo isn't going to make it with us. King is better and about 4 years younger
  3. Too many unforced mistakes
  4. After seeing him that doesn't surprise me, unfortunately.
  5. Repeatedly subbed off suggested an issue. Last night was his first full 90 minutes since the 15th of April. Who will be next ? Tav ?? He doesn't appear to be at 100% Playing through injuries is taking its toll. Longer periods out.
  6. We might get another 5-5 scoredraw against an on form diddy team. Rossitor played in the previous 5-5. Nothing changes!!
  7. That backline would be the stuff of nightmares. Wouldn't be fair on King either. Saw a little of Mayo at Kilmarnock, not ready for us. Sands isn't a natural centre half. Both could be used if playing beside experience but all together, .... would work out badly.
  8. On this form, you should ask for a game at Auchenhowie.
  9. If that is the UB, then they'll need a brass neck to make further requests of the club regards seating.
  10. Rumours on Daily Record say severe thigh tear / months.
  11. Agreed, generally poor recruitment, including some of the contract renewals. What got me was recruiting an injury prone centre half. Who if @craigis correct in saying he was brought in to replace Goldson (who looked to be leaving), means they must have been hoping for a Souttar/ Helander partnership. WTAF !!
  12. I think the board were right with the infrastructure, including Youth development but the football department haven't spent their budget well. Time to have pushed the boat out slightly IMO was after 55, ie. built on success.
  13. We could win cups. The only way we win the league is if they come down to our level of inconsistency. That is at least looking more plausible now than it did a few weeks ago.
  14. Napoli are soundly beating anything that moves. We haven't been ourselves and are unraveling at precisely the time we come up against the best. We can do better than we have been but the yes, CL for clubs at our level is the football equivalent of prostitution. Can we do a Brugge or Ajax? After 49 years of research I doubt it. But we have to try.
  15. I think you ask a pertinent question.
  16. No I was translating for those who can't understand the original post.
  17. Yes, but I was focusing on the limits of where that will take us and the resulting widening gulf.
  18. We did as well, but our squad reached its sell by date and at the same time come up against the real elite (BodoGlimt haven't as yet) Add in what looks like a disconnect that some have with manager.
  19. I referred to on-field leaders in the post. They are a rare breed these days. The type of leadership you refer to (and gave examples) are discouraged from developing in that direction by a fcuked up modern society.
  20. Only Napoli We can still beat Ajax.
  21. Scary to think Napoli at home, put Eight goals past Ajax and Liverpool. Ten past Ajax over the two games. Spalletti has them playing some amazing football.
  22. Go Compare....the gulf....it is increasing. Again, I am not saying things will change. I am saying what (however unlikely) we'd need to stop the direction of travel.
  23. Much of the squad have gone past their sell by date and it is showing.
  24. Agreed Our general level was/is dependent on good recruitment and management, with a small part down to youth development. Going forward, Youth development will have to feature more prominently within the mix.
  25. I droned on about it most of the summer, it was obvious. That is why you really have to wonder at squad management responsibility and hold it accountable.
