  1. The situation is: - that money going into the club is still in part being sucked straight out via onerous contracts, bonus culture, etc. - that those in executive control both on the board and somewhere behind the board are part of an ongoing process that comes in stages and has an MO of extracting money, value and positioning the assets. - this particular stage looks to keep the show on the road so as onerous contracts are paid, other benefits can be extracted and assets positioned. - 227 days after Graham Wallace signed a contract with a 100% non-specific bonus clause (due last week) and as the club sign veterens with significant injury history, we don't have a scouting network/ head scout. - The levels of corporate goverence, the lack of transpareny, the misleading spin, the contradictory messages, the patronising and plastic efforts of 'engagement', the vanishing money etc.........all point to a slow boat, not to China but to Portsmouth or perhaps a train to Leeds or Coventry. When you spend a Blue Pound, it will be divided between sp.iv and club. When you consider back in the day, that a season in the CL group stages had us break-even or show a small profit, then you'll appreciate the level the club will have to operate at when there is No CL money and what money there is has to be essentially divvied up between sp.iv and club. This means our forseeable Top Tier glass ceiling is going to be second place and that we'll on average probably get to the final qualifying round of the Europa League (in August) before being papped out. Of course along the way, we'll lose ownership of the main assets, including Ibrox.
  2. All players should have them tatooed down their right arm and play in short sleeves throughout the winter.
  3. Yes, it is over-exposed (flash) which doen't do any favours for the collar.
  4. First impression is........ The white collar and those white stripes aren't really the best.
  5. Herein lys a problem. If you continually throw money at short-term problems so as to 'win' and you don't have enough coming in to cover it you build up financial bubbles. In an ideal world, we would hope for the following, which is not unreasonable...... Remember the amount of money that has come into the club since the siummer of 2012. - A board that were interested in the club and the long-term. - A football management team that were competent+. - A well-run club. We have none of the above, the money has not only gone but we have large internal debts built-up. We lurch from season to season with the same spinning bullshit, more money leaking through onerous contracts and a pre-historic team built for a season.
  6. Maybe but I'm not sure. We are the support who have been most conditioned to accept the bullshit spun towards us. Or put another way, it has been 'designed' so as any 'message' coming from the support appears to be confused, mixed, unclear and 'managable'.
  7. Ally McCoist and the Hans Christan Andersen tale, 'The Emperor's Birthday Suit' have a lot in common. Ally has been wearing one for years. The support desperately want to believe that they can see tangible cloth but as time goes by, more and more silently realise but don't really want to fully broach the issue.
  8. Had we approached the whole 'journey' through the lower leagues as a whole, when laying down strategy and building a team based on full-time relatively inexpensive youth being coached at a first class facility and by 'expensive training teams'.................... instead of starting again every season we might be in a place where we didn't have to bring in so many 'older players'. We all know that the club is an Omnishambles and the stark truth is that Ally McCoist and his management has contributed in no small measure towards it. As the club struggle to tread water, his management is a lead weight. When you add that to the even heavier lead ball hanging from the boardroom, you wonder how this will end up. Probably the highest paid manager in the country, he is definitely on the short list for worst.
  9. They are too busy asking the UOF for transparency.
  10. Wasn't Stockbridge secretary and director of TRFC aswell as FD of RIFC ? Companies House has him being there from the summer of 2012 until 14/2/14.
  11. In November 2013, he said he hadn't met anyone from the club before until recently before being appointed as RIFC chairman. Go to 3mins 15secs in the video link provided below http://www.rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/item/5513-exclusive-david-somers-video It was the RTV Paxman like grilling Or rather semi-scripted affair.
  12. "Misleading" has been the MO of the sp.ivs from day one of the ongoing process. Good corporate goverence and real meaningful transparency are their kryptonite.
  13. Back in December Somers supported and thanked Brian 'part legacy issue' Stockbridge as he was part of the 'team'. This despite obviously knowing about what is termed as 'legacy issues' surrounding BS. Mr.Somers and his standard of contradictory Corporate Goverence fits in well with the ongoing sp.iv process at Ibrox.
  14. Standard speak for 'a stage' of an ongoing process with various 'stages'. Problem with this, is that there are too many links to seperate the stages as they would like you to believe.
  15. Are you now beginning to market a 'new route' ? As for knowing "better" regards taking on historical precedent, I don't think you are in a credible position to use that line. Which reminds me, where are Mr.Hemdani and Simply TB these days ?
  16. Are you now beginning to market a 'new route' ? As for knowing "better" regards taking on historical precedent, I don't think you are in a credible position to use that line.
  17. If you are close to 30 or on the other side, have a history of serious knee injuries and cheap send your CV to:- Graham 'we're in a good place' Wallace The Rangers '120' Scouting dept. Auchenhowie (subject to change) Strathclyde
  18. How do you measure a bite or attemped bite/graze against a headbutt or a punch thrown ?
  19. Whilst there is increased scepticism and more care is taken with such output, it is difficult "to get to grips with" it because there is seldom any certainty as to what the complete truth actually is. So whilst more are becoming aware of the copious bullshit written, there are many who are simply scunnered with the soap opera that doesn't have an end. I think it comes to the point where they'll look to sicken the great majority of the politics and push the football enough to have sufficient revenue. The Spi.vs at Ibrox have operated in a foggy void that 21stC UKPLC allows. The Fourth Estate have generally been complicit due to a lack of expertise, professionalism and budget constraints. This was predictable and spin-doctors acted accordingly. BBC Scotland did manage to uncover CW's directorship ban. However, within the 'Sports Dept' there has been wilful spin conduits established by Irvine. Conduits that have been used to mislead and despite this have remained open. There was and is a huge story for a 6 part panorama special.
  20. Fair enough They come out with this because a significant percentage of Bears will take it as read. Jackson in a tweet used the word "claims".... ("who claims to control Blue Pitch Holdings"). https://twitter.com/tedermeatballs Whereby the Record headline writer took a more definite view............."Lebanese Owner of BPH speaks to the Record". In the newspaper article there was this this short paragraph where again Jackson qualifies the remark. "Houssami insisted he is the sole power behind the Blue Pitch group." http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/exclusive-man-behind-rangers-investors-3750868 The actual article itself or much of what Houssami claims has more holes in it than Rab C's string vest. The Record are going with the bullshit to sell papers. Or rather they aren't trying very hard to check out what is being given to them. You may or may not find that the editor is putting pressure on Jackson . Is the toxic one speaking directly to Jackson or the editor ?
  21. Thank's Frankie ! "Off market disposal of shares for no consideration" It appears DK is selling (or transfering) shares in Micromega....but I'm puzzled by the 'no consideration'. You don't give shares away. Any financial folk want to translate ?
  22. Sp.iv spinners hand story to Jackson who gets an apparent exclusive and sells print. Not having read the article, I can't comment on contents but headline and info available tends to suggest that there is no real 'tangible big new story' or revelations. Think about the timing and current circumstances. Think about Green last week. Think about Deloittes and going concern status. Think about share issues. Think about ST sales. Think about Auchenhowie. Think about Dave King. I have no info but it would seem as 'ducks are being lined up' for something and/or to push others.
  23. 'Control'...........but probably not own ? Lining up their ducks for the 'next move' ?
  24. The corporate speak from the infamous business review. "Strengthen the Club’s Football Operations - With the creation of the new position of Chief Football Operations Officer, with specific responsibility for developing best in class football operations support. This new role will support the Football Manager and the Board and will concentrate initially on developing player talent identification, scouting and recruitment capability" http://www.rangers.co.uk/images/staticcontent/documents/RangersBusinessReview.pdf
