  1. Thank's Forlan, does anyone know of a particular reason for their non-appearence ?
  2. Another question, this time for Bears that were accross in Kirkcaldy for the Raith game. Did anyone spot the Easdales ? They weren't in the set of Willie Vass pic's, which is the first time for a while that I can remember that being the case.
  3. Can anyone recall if Easdale or any named individual from RIFC or TRFC made any comment on Rizvi being with the visiting party from Malaysia ?
  4. It wasn't a statement as such. I don't think it went out on the official site. The STV were briefed by a "Rangers spokesman" and the club were obviously happy to let it pass at the time. Green&Co/ Rizvi/ Mystery investor block/............. Green/ Easdale/ Proxy/ Rizvi/ Toxic spokesman/......STV
  5. Multiply by 70M Not a penny more........
  6. I wonder why we don't believe a word that comes out of Ibrox ? This was called out for being cr@p at the time and it doesn't seem to have taken long for confirmation.
  7. Zappa I don't think Patey appears to do anymore than have a skim through numbers and thereafter look to adopt a non-controversial, safe and general line in answering questions. It's representative of the way the mainstream have covered our omnishambles. The so-called expert can't even offer one insightful analysis on our finances during the years that he has been propped up on a sofa to talk about them. If I was a partner or boss in E&Y, I'd be cringing when he appeared.
  8. BH Thank's for taking the time to put that together (post 27). What is being said by the board does seems contradictory and they also look to absolve themselves of any blame, which can't be seen by any viewer as reasonable. The post I refered to now makes sense to me and I've since further commented on related matters within this thread that also highlight the conduct of the board and the 'reasoning' behind decisions from Deloittes.
  9. That was a fantastic pass & finish 6 inches less on the ball and Mulgrew get's in the way 6 inches more and Jelavic doesn't have the time to get himself together for the finish A game of inches !! 6min 25 secs into link
  10. This was at a time when there was cash and when IIRC their fees increased significantly. They signed off the accounts/going concern note that were published in October 2013 when Stockbridge was still at the 'frontline' 'bullshitting' his way through towards December, including a case at the CoS (post sign-off) where RIFC lost and the board were slated and thereafter further diminshed. The 2.5M unsecured facility seemed to be material in Deloittes being able to sign off the going concern note. This then seemed to dissappear when money was required and options were being explored. Not forgetting what was said by those in the so-called 'new board' at the AGM+.... that later didn't reconcile with reallity. The undercurrent and sometimes blatantly in your face poor corporate governence from the 'new' board that has in good part, the same movers and shakers under the hood is there if Deloittes choose to see it. So any assurances that were given that 'change' was on the way with a new coligiete, responsible and dynamic board that could raise sufficient finance and rebuild levels of trust with the fans has been proved to be balderdash. The dogs in the streets can see this (well, there are a couple who can't). Bottomline, it looks to me as if Deloittes have been prepared to 'let quite a lot go' and have at times taken their chances, so to speak.........not forgetting a fat wedge. Perhaps this is to a degree, a reflection of UKPLC in the 21st century.
  11. After dispatching QPR with god knows how many millions of pounds worth of players, LVG is now talking about the title ! On October 26th Chelsea visit Old Trafford and a week later United visit Manchester City. Come back and tell us how things are after those games.
  12. I think in giving out several one year contracts, we have gone down a not completely dissimilar route.
  13. An interesting selection in that I'm sure if Mr.Calscot were to draw a much more mature lady than himself, he'd have no problems given his obvious awareness of the dangers of "ageism". This awareness is shown in the very post you nominate
  14. Atletico have an exceptional manager who is exactly the right fit for that particular job. He prioritises the team over individuals and has more control in this regard than say his opposite number in Real Madrid. I'd say that Atletico were more a football team than a global brand.
  15. Calscot, I take it that was a 'wind-up'. A satirical piss-take of how the '-ism's' are now often used as a spinning tool opposed to what they are apparently meant for.
  16. Could we not arrange some kind of weekly award that has as an interesting and alternative prize. All those who put themselves forward for the competition must have a wife or girlfriend(s) and each week, once the award is decided upon,....there is a 'draw' to see which wife/girlfriend the winner gets to have take them out to dinner. Obviously the winner would have his W/GF withdrawn from the 'hat'. Some may need to consult their 'other half' of course but I'm sure most would be up for it (if they could get away with it).
  17. Thank's GS ! I thought that to be the case but I'm confused by some of the wording related to what seems to have happened.
  18. Yes, the TV companies could have saved the money and placed a 'textbook' on the sofa and quoted from it. As previously mentioned, the textbook and RIFC/TRFC are not aligned. One day there will be many books charting the sum of 'textbook+spi.vary'. What might have been interesting would have been the use of an expert like Patey beside an 'ex-sp.iv' (if such a thing exists) and seeing what they came up with.
  19. Why exactly do you see it difficult for Deloittes to continue in their role ? ps. I'm struggling to understand the enboldened text in your first paragraph. If you have the time could you spell it out with dates/numbers please.
  20. Morning Rab !! It's interesting you should ask that. When I think about it, the ongoing 'omnishambles' is such that whoever may be tasked as a 'financial expert' to judge what is going on at Ibrox has to go beyond the mere nuts and bolts of how things might usually develop and include the hidden and unknown 'spi.v factor/MO'.........that is, if he hopes to have a chance of being in the right ballpark. What we have is someone relating Rangers to a normal business, which in recent years means that you have no chance of getting it right. Tbf, it's very difficult/dangerous at times to second guess the 'sp.iv factor' and I wouldn't expect Patey to do so. However I would expect him to make very clear that this was the case, even if he did so with toned down references. ps. I'm no financial expert.
  21. A secured loan or the facility to be called upon in the case that another potential share issue isn't successful,...... would make sense. Deloittes might like to remember what happened to the 2.5M unsecured facility they noted in last years accounts.
  22. Fair speculation but it won't hide or change what Deloittes have to say in the note where they should sign-off on 12 months of the business being able to trade (going-concern). It will be interesting and informative to see how RIFC plan to finance the business / Deloittes being 'happy' that it is reliable. ps. Patey is a half-baked 'financial expert' who has struggled to see anything coming throughout the Omnishambles. Get a real one who isn't afraid to call things out as they are.
  23. This can't last for another ten years. We are going to be a diluted force, it's a question of scale. We face not only the 'spi.v tax', assetstrip and insolvency event(s). We face it all within Scottish football that is financially contracting. Then we have to wonderr where the next generation of fans will come from. I note that the backpage of todays Daily Record gave 40% of space to Manchester United v QPR.
  24. For me getting into Europe means getting past the summer qualifiers. There is only one team in that division that has a chance of making the group stages of either competition and even they had to get lucky this year.
