The Right Man At The Wrong Time - (latest from McMurdo)
buster. replied to Zappa's topic in Rangers Chat
The crucial difference for me is that IMO he deliberatly pretends to be something that he is not, so as to deceive. What the effect is in part, is to nuture the seeds of division already sown by his Toxic friend many years ago aswell as the more immediate and timely interventions to suit the ongoing agenda of clients of said posionous dwarf. His activities via the web are revealing as to how McMurdo looks upon a world of (IMO somewhat sleekit) oppourtunities.- 59 replies

You can understand your everyday sp.iv from afar sniffing money and wanting a share. That is their MO and they have few morals that get in the way. However McMurdo (a 'Rangers supporter') and what he has been doing really 'sticks in the craw'. If you see him as an extension of another 'Rangers supporter', Jack Irvine.....then I guess he's following a path already trodden. However, to put yourself forward as a blogger when in fact you are an agitator is beyond the pale and IMO dishonest.- 59 replies

Probably more likely a player with potential to become as good, but they wouldn't be around for long. Simple realities for Rangers and Scottish football in general.

Ok Ok Ok, why didn't you think to ask him who had actually put it together ? This is a very important question. I believe that Jack Irvine has his fingerprints on it, which would tell us most of what we need to know. I referred to the conversation that would back-up the GW position of having the idea for the scheme (pre 6/12/13). My post made that clear. Your CV from my experience and information makes you someone who shouldn't be allowed near to any fans board. - Your judgement call on Green (in the face of the obvious for someone with something beyond a CV) was 'inexplicable' - Your ongoing attempts to justify and support the 'Dysfunctional Lying Circus' (DLC) - Divisive nature of previoius involvement in fans groups - Your custom to avoid questions or speak/answer 'politically' isn't what the support need at this time. It needs straightforward dialogue. - Loyalty by those on here who may vote for you simply because you are a regular Gersnet poster is IMO mistaken but I fully recognise that it is the decision for each individual. - Serial signed agreements to Der Berliners posts (lighthearted point) IMO you'd be a welcome addition for said 'Dysfunctional Lying Circus' whilst Mr.Paterson would be viewed very differently. -

McMurdo, a man (or Judas Blogger) who has burnt his bridges. Bear in mind that his info comes from the same Toxic man who helped design the fans board/membership scheme.- 59 replies

Let's go through this with you BH. I will be direct, to the point and forthcoming. I'd appreciate and I'm sure others would as well, if you could answer in a similar vein rather than the politically correct standard type. Who has given you this assurance ? You didn't answer my previous question. Do you believe Mr.Wallace that it was his idea ? Did he say who has 'designed' it ? Given levels of trust, his imperfect record regard trust since November 20th 2013 and his stated goals of more transparency could he show us the e-mail trail regards this to back him up. Mr.Wallace has at times refused to answer fansgroup electronic correspondence but did hire the spin-doctor Paul Tyrell. For the record, I believe that Jack Irvine was involved regards 'design'. I'm sorry but that doesn't mean a lot and has been shown to mean, not a lot. We've seen your CV on here and it is on the face of it impressive but I'm really struggling to comprehend how you could then get fooled for so long by someone like Green. It wasn't just you, I know of a senior partner of one of the big accountancy firms who declared that Green was playing a 'canny game', he certainly was but not in our interests. A fansgroup has never more needed to be independent of the club/company/board. Stretch your imagination and include how any 'constitution' (or similar) would govern decision-making, majorities, public declarations of fansboard 'business', powers, how/when club interacts, etc., etc. I think it would be relatively simple to 'neutralise' dissenting voices if they get too loud or become too awkward. The club will set it up in a way that it will work for them, not for us. They haven't wanted to listen or address what hasn't suited them previously. That said they employ spin-doctors who instruct so as to keep an eye on our cyber views but their MO is often to send in 'Agitaters' who attempt to shape/change opinion, not to take on fans conerns and consider the modification of X, Y or Z. ie. Bullshit Each person is free to do as they will but under the current regime this will be another largely impotent fans layer and tool of spin for the board. These are the times we live in and to do with the type of people who have executive control. It's Professional bullshit. -

What are you saying, that you believe him but you also see grounds not to believe him ? This is the kind of doublespeak that isn't needed. -

Bottomline...... It's a sp.iv intiative and will be designed in such a way that the net effect will be positive for them and their ongoing plans. If a spanner can be forced into said 'plan' and under whatever set of rules/constitution/etc be allowed to effectively channel an agenda that may be considered favourable to the fans/clubs longterm macro interests then great.........but don't hold your breath. Thinking about it, perhaps the best action would have been for nobody to apply and further isolate the board but that's now wishful thinking. -

The thing is that what is important IMO is the 'banner' rather than the individual. Individuals can be bypassed if neccessary, the 'banner' of the group would be used as a 'tool' or at least that is in part the idea behind this. I've generally been cynical regards the great majority of things coming from the boardroom in recent years and what is hoped for here is a.............. 'benefit of the doubt for new project' + 'hope for change' .............but it's not IMO where efforts need to be aimed although we are limited in what we can do now. In an ideal world we need to get rid of the sp.ivs and until then, intiatives coming from said board are tainted and/or toxic. -

"Caring for the club" has become a very subjective line over the past few years and there have been plenty of those who may be generally considered to fall into this category that have been fooled too easily...eg. Mr.Harris...... Harsh, but true. There is no room for sentiment or ignoring the recent past and not learning from it. I'd venture that the immediate problems for those who "care for the club" may be to focus more upon the present than Jack Irvine inspired fans membership schemes. -

Was saying similar on FF after Somers Open Letter of 6th of December 2013........but emphasizing that it would be put in place in an attempt to control the revenue stream better and marginalise the 'awkward'. I think you have to look at some of the recent 'output' from one of the fansgroups and wonder about possible tie-ins to an ongoing process. -

If I were a sp.iv (heaven forbid) I'd have Mr.Harris on board and politely tell Mr.Paterson that his application had been unsuccessful. -
You have to consider the scene. Wallace (no shares IIRC) saying this is how it will be done and the rest urging that he accept bulging "lucrative" suitcases of dosh. Comedy from The Judas Blogger.

The choice of username fits with Irvines personality. ie. he has a tendency to attempt ingratiating humour. -
The Dysfunctional Lying Circus continues into it's 4th year. The ever present Irvine in charge of the info flow as ever. McMurdo has 'burnt his bridges' (a long time ago).

... must be Keith Jackson then (yes, it is). The very same who had an open interview with Sandy Easdale last week. Wonder what the latter thinks of such reporting. As for the rest ... all we can do is take it in, sit back and anticipate/dread the show unfolding. Whilst it is your right, do you not feel any shame in criticising the opinion or 'judgement call' of others ? ----------------------------------------------------------------- . Toxic was very much hands-on (pre-AGM) when this was put forward and they decided to go with it in an attempt to better control the revenue stream (fans) and marginalise 'awkward groups'. I think Somers first aluded to it in his infamous Open Letter of the 6th of December 2013 that at least in part was penned by our toxic 'friend'. Irvine himself or someone very close to him was posting on FF about how it might work on the 5th of January this year. Basically in an attempt to see how the revenue stream/cashflow/support would react to it. He was called out and left the FF building. The person went under the username of 'Applepine'. This is designed to be 'Plastic Engagement' that is 'controllable' and would become a tool for the sp.iv board to use to better preserve the incoming flow of cash or whatever they had in mind. -
I'd put forward 'McMurdo' for that particular crown in recent years. The likes of CW, CG etc. do what they do, always have done and always will. They should never have been allowed to get in the door but that takes you back to another set of initials that predates this 'award'. If you take the soap opera as a whole and I have observed most of it fairly closely then the supposed Rangers supporter, William McMurdo Jnr. has spun himself into a difficult place from where he shouldn't be allowed to return. He has taken instruction from in and around Ibrox sp.ivdom and tried to make life as easy as possible for the sp.ivs to 'clear-up'. If he isn't mentally stupid then he is complicit. Now others may have actually done the deeds but what McMurdo has done IMO is grotesque but then it fits with other activities he is involved in, so perhaps isn't surprising. The Toxic Blog (sometimes an 'early-warning system') and it's author should never be allowed to forget what they have done.
