Union of Fans threaten Ibrox board AGM mayhem...........
buster. replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
If I was wealthy or super wealthy I wouldn't throw money at Rangers, it wouldn't make any sense unless there was another angle, eg. sp.ivs see opportunity. If I was wealthy or super wealthy and a Rangers supporter then it would make 'emotional sense' but then you have to take into account the financial minefield that the sp.ivs have laid for you at the doors of Ibrox. Rab, forget the names you mention, they seem to blur some supporters vision to actually see what is going on. They serve as a tool to drum up 'hate', rather than looking at detail. The truth is Rab, that we are in a really bad place and there are no silver bullets but please recognize an ongoing process that is fleecing the club of money rather than forever blaming fans.. -
A well crafted post but this subject can't be addressed without taking into account the deliberate, longterm, malicious and successful attempts by many of those who have sat upstairs at Ibrox to sow (SDM) and nuture (from first harvest onwards to present day) confusion and divisions amongst the support/groups via paid spin doctors and specific strategies. Tbf it would need a book to cover it fully, rather than a post.

The requisitioners tried but failed, I gave various reasons as to why that was and yes much of it was down to their own mistakes/problems. That said, the support have to take a look at themselves aswell. We have made it so much easier for the sp.ivs than we should have done. One of the reasons Rangers would have been seen as a 'ripe target' was the support, the numbers (money) and the proven gullibility/divides. The SoS/UoF have helped to focus attention and energies as increasingly many 'wake-up' to what has been going-on but it might be too late. The "2 bit Yorkie" was a loud front and behind that there was considerable sp.iv orientated brainpower.

First game of the season Flag unfurling Sandy Jardine tribute all contributing to pushing the attendence up against Hearts. Next Hearts League game at Ibrox is scheduled for the middle of January and the crowd for that game will be well down on 43.6K
-
What would be required to get as close to a "panecea" as possible ?
-
Good to hear, just joking !! Will better football fill up Ibrox again back to previous levels (40K+) ?
-
Give the old man time to get his thoughts in order I'm sure his "eye for detail" will get there in the end
-
Because those who didn't and don't want us to get along have made it their business to make sure we didn't and don't. One man stands above (or perhaps below) all others in his work in this remit given to him by the custodians of the day, including D&P. The ever-present continuity bridge of Toxic Spin, Confusion, Division and Bullshit........I present to you one Jack Irvine.

With good reason because these past couple of weeks, the board have upped the ante regards 'taking the pish'.

Another good strong and hard hitting statement from Chris/UoF. I'd add that they may have chosen today to settle so as it is only a small part of the news behind the share issue/3M.
-
We could have been rid of each and every one of the tres amigos (Green, Ahmad and Stockbridge) via Gross Misconduct but they all look after each other and feed off the club. It summed up their MO.
-
That is all part of it but there has been so much more value extracted via sp.iv practices. 70M goes way way beyond the wagebill.

Douglas Fraser @BBCDouglasF 4m #Rangers FC open share offer falls short of £4m target. Raises £3.13m gross (approx costs £400k) ---------------------------------------- Lets say...........a net 2.8M has been raised. Plus 2 home games in September (ICT and Hibs both midweek) and 1 in October (Raith Rovers/Sat). Less Letham loan: 1.045M Ahmad settlement Wallace bonus ? Other pending creditors who won't be slow in coming forward. That takes us to when ?..........October payroll/November

Apparently late last night, news reached Geordieland that Govan was awash with Fifth Columnists and Ashely decided to pull the plug. Copyright: McMurdo the Judas Blogger.

Rab, nothing personal but it has to be said that that, is truly delusional ! You either don't want to see what is going on, you can't see it and/or you have emotionally invested in a particular direction and you'll hang on until after the fat lady sings

http://rangers.g3dhosting.com/regulatory_news_article/369 Furthermore it had almost certainly been planned prior to the AGM, over a month earlier.

How can someone who has got just about every big call wrong in recent years have the gaul to be sarcastic when talking about interpretating a "complex predicament" ?
-
Would those be conducted by the Spin-doctor who Sandy doesn't seem to know he has ?
-
The Judas Blogger tends to just reguritate the Toxic brief on these type of matters. I think he's worse than old 3names given he shits on his own doorstep or in other circumstances, should be sectioned. Why would Ashely buy more shares in Rangers when he has what he wants tied up ? If he was to help to keep the lights on and the onerous contracts producing, it's always more likely to be a secured loan IMO.

McMurdo the Judas Blogger 11 September 2013 "With the announcement that he is putting Newcastle United up for sale, the chips are falling into place for a Mike Ashley takeover at Rangers. As predicted by this blogger, Ashley could very well be the new man in charge at the troubled club" 12 September 2013 "Mike Ashley may not be riding to Rangers rescue after all. I am led to believe that Ashley has been scared off by the fifth columnists in the club support and doesn’t relish taking on disgruntled fan groups again."

I said Auchenhowie (personally don't like using the 'D.Murray' reference) would make sense to be 'next-up'.
-
I wouldn't say you were wrong but then neither would I fully agree with you. In recent years, it's been proved to be dangerous to assume too much and go the whole hog, laying out precisely where all the pieces in any sub-jigsaw lay, never mind the macro. The one certainty about the Asian visit is that what the club told us via a spokesman, wasn't wholly true. Auchenhowie is certainly the asset that would make sense as to be the 'next-up'. Rizvi probably means 'important/significant strategical step' within ongoing process Rizvi 'presented publicly' may have been designed.
-
I think the chance of Rizvi not being at least in part involved in one of the mysterious investing blocks back in the summer of 2012 is as little as Val McDermid modelling the latest line in M&S bikini's for 2015.
