  1. Time is ticking................ Nine days since receipt of the EGM request. On the three requisitions for an EGM (below) you can see a slight difference in how the 'company' responded. For the EGM request made by spi.vs to fellow spi.vs (May 2013) there was seemingly no check necessary of the constitution of the requisition. Howver on the other two, there was. Given the latest is by a spi.v to seemingly another group of spi.vs, perhaps it helps to further illustrate where the power currently lies upstairs. ie. Easdale Proxies. It also helps place Blue Pitch in the very centre of it (Requisition 16/5/13....the proposed Chris Morgan, a man with Rizvi connections who Sandy Easdale talked up in December 2013). Add this to the Rangers Standard revelations Requisition of EGM 16/5/13 (pro-spi.v measures) No checks mentioned http://rangers.g3dhosting.com/regulatory_news_article/304 Requisition of EGM 1/8/13 (anti-spi.v measures) "The Board is verifying whether the Requisition is properly constituted and further announcements will be made as appropriate." http://rangers.g3dhosting.com/regulatory_news_article/316 Requisition of EGM 7/10/14 ('anti-spi.v measures' by other spi.v interest) "The Company is currently verifying that the Notice is properly constituted". http://rangers.g3dhosting.com/regulatory_news_article/405 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Aside: Each passing Nomad seems to get a requisition to deal with. 10 days after the withdrawal of the first EGM request, Cenkos left the building. 18 days after the withdrawal of the second EGM request, Strand Hanson left the building.
  2. Isn't Sandy Easdale the main man at TRFC ? He had Toxic set-up the BBC ready for the door-step interview. Via Toxic, hands various 'exclusives' to McLaughlin and Lamont (BBC). ps. I know you know etc
  3. ‘Could do better’ – Louis van Gaal’s report card at Manchester United http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2014/oct/15/louis-van-gaal-report-card-manchester-united I reckon if Moyes had been able to spend the same money then he'd probably still be in a job. Although he'd have had to have been more ruthless and got rid of the chief dissenters sharpish.
  4. IMO, he's burnt his bridges. He's proved himself to be more Judas than Merlin the 'blogger' and has previous with what I'd regard as dubious activities trying to raise money for himself (Financial Abundance Preaching). He puts himself forward as a blogger when he is only a pointed agitator being fed his lines by one of the most damaging individuals throughout the whole soap opera.
  5. 8th October 2014 The Company announces that it has received a notice dated 7 October 2014 from Mike Ashley, a director of MASH Holdings Limited ("MASH") under Section 303 of the Companies Act 2006. The notice states that MASH holds 4,265,000 Ordinary Shares of 1p each in the Company amounting to 5% of the voting rights of the Company. MASH requires the Company to call a general meeting of the Shareholders of the Company and to put certain resolutions to Shareholders for inclusion in the business at such a general meeting of the Company (the "Notice"). The Notice puts forward resolutions for the removal of Graham Wallace and Philip Nash as directors of the Company. The Company is currently verifying that the Notice is properly constituted. If valid, the Board intends to seek to have such Notice withdrawn in order to avoid the cost and disruption of an ad hoc general meeting particularly given the Company's forthcoming Annual General Meeting, further details of which will be announced in due course. The Board is united in its support of the executive team. If the Notice is valid and is not withdrawn, the Directors intend to recommend that Shareholders vote against the proposed resolutions. A further announcement will be made shortly. http://rangers.g3dhosting.com/regulatory_news_article/405 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- One week and counting...............
  6. I reckon the group have at times 'been used' whether it be willingly and/or unknowingly.
  7. We really needed that point tonight to keep adding and to prevent Poland getting too far ahead. Anything less than 3 points against Ireland in the next match will make things very difficult for us. Decision to play the Irish at Parkhead was financially based but could backfire.
  8. Interesting ! Sporting: Bright sunshine. PSV: Mostly bright spells with rain late in the day. Bayern Munich: Very cloudy with the odd ray of sunshine. Valencia: Heavy Rain One of our CL 'groups of death' had PSV, Bayern and Valencia in it.
  9. Was it not a 5 part exclusive about the 5 Way Agreement ? Can't remember anymore than 2 parts or indeed, the punchline.
  10. I'll go and sit in the dunces croner Are Sporting Lisbon the team we have played most in European games ? Or perhaps Bayern Munich ?
  11. Pedantic, but the Sporting game at Ibrox was goalless and the away leg was a win (0-2) The away goals win against Sporting was back in 1971/72 3-2, 4-3.........better entertainment !!
  12. Little by little, the jigsaw comes together.................... Well done to the Rangers Standard for getting hold of this and putting it out there. As per Rangers Standard article On 23rd August 2012, having not received payment of the fees he wants, Rizvi writes to Green: "I would like the shares the two of you are holding on my behalf to be transferred into a separate entity". Green reacts angrily and refuses, stating he has not yet received shares himself, at which point Rizvi replies: "When you do both get the shares just remember our agreement." "I need to fight to ensure my interests and those of the investors I brought to this transaction are protected". ------------------------------------ Toxic gave the following to Chris McLaughlin on the 24 August 2012 BBC Scotland can reveal that a Dubai-based businessman is currently the single largest shareholder in Rangers. Arif Naqvi, chief executive of private equity firm Abraaj Capital, owns just under 18% after agreeing to invest £2m back in June. Naqvi is the man behind Blue Pitch Holdings, but BBC Scotland understands that he has a personal holding in the club. Newcastle owner Mike Ashley is expected to announce his £1m investment next week, securing around 9% of the club. The way was paved for that investment after Rangers ripped up their deal with retailers JJB Sports in favour of Ashley's Sports Direct company. Charles Green took control of the club on 14 June, announcing his intention to secure a number of investors from across the globe. He has always insisted that no one individual will own more than 15%. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/19376352 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As per Rangers Standard Ahmad also expresses concern on 31st August 2012 that Rizvi's repeated contact is attracting the attention of the authorities – in particular the Serious Organised Crime Agency (SOCA). "Our advisors are not happy with your calls and emails to them." "I've just spent the day persuading them not to report the matter to SOCA about Blue Pitch, Margarita and Norne Astalt." "Your continual badgering is about to involve Charles, Brian, myself, Arif, Alessandro, Chris and Mazen with SOCA ffs." "If you go anywhere near this they (Cenkos) will run a mile and I will then report what you are doing to all investors not just Arif." "Blue Pitch and Margarita are having to be kycd again and money laundered again due to change in beneficial owners at their request." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ On , 20 October 2012 Green comes out with a statement on the official site CHARLES GREEN, Chief Executive, issued the following statement today: “There has been renewed speculation and media comment recently regarding the current shareholders in The Rangers Football Club. “A full list of current shareholders will be published in the share prospectus which will be issued within the next few weeks. “A lot of attention has focused on investment funds which have taken a shareholding in the Club to date. "For example, I would like to clarify that in the case of Blue Pitch Holdings, the legal beneficiary is Mazen Houssami and not Arif Naqvi of Abraaj Capital. "Mr Naqvi is a personal friend of mine and I approached him early on in the process about a shareholding but he has not proceeded on the basis that the investment fell outside the core geography he invests in. ” http://www.rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/item/2451-charles-green-statement
  13. If Newcastle are anything to go by, whatever he puts in with his right hand, he takes out with his invisible left. Sir Duped had a different way of going about things but bottomline, wasn't all that different. They say that ye cannae kid a kidder and that is very relevant to Sir Duped, who was kidding many during his time at Ibrox.
  14. Are you saying he lied to the Newcastle support when he bought the club ?
  15. Quiz ? The Falklands War was declared. The UK joined the EEC. Jim Baxter moved from Raith to Rangers. Couldn't resist DB, only lighhearted.
  16. I agree with trying to disrupt his business interests as it is taking a step towards speaking the 'pounds & pence lingo', both directly and indirectly . But to get there, I think they have to step it up and encourage a similar dynamic at Newcastle.
  17. I think that you have to consider the Ashely MO, his attitude to the support and how he uses spin-doctors regards the above. As I see it, the financial benefit to Ashely regards NUFC is accrued over time, mounts up and is significant. ie. the money he legally diverts from NUFC to SD through what some may term as 'onerous contracts'. He doesn't really care what supporters think aslong as enough keep 'buying shirts' or what other shareholders think because he has control (both NUFC and SD). He will use spin-doctors to deny, deflect or have published false flags of hope. He doesn't really listen and can't be trusted. Better to follow the money.
  18. Prior to the IPO, Charles Green wanted to bring in Daniel Stewart Ltd as NOMAD for RIFC but MM was very much part of the reason he didn't get his way. This was at a time when CG&Co were trying not to tread on too many toes as they wanted the IPO to go well. 'The Tale of Three Nomads' CG&Co eventually 'came back' and got his way.
  19. UKPLC RIFC DSLtd "I'm mad as Hell and I'm not going to take this anymore"
  20. UKPLC RIFC DSLtd As Marcellus said "Something is rotten in the state of Denmark".
  21. Apparently the 'consortium' that PM and DK are involved in has a wider base regards backers and there may be further info coming out later this week. Not much I know and I don't know nowt else. Take it for what it is or isn't worth and wait to see any developments this week. My interpretation is that more backers should make it 'stronger' and may attract more widespread support. I realise that we've been through the mill a few times (understatement of 2014?) and understand 'groundhog day' scepticism but people are trying to wrestle control away from the spi.vs. As we well know, the reality is a very complex financial minefield that the spi.vs have engineered and it's not easy unless you wanted to pay way, way over the odds....(and that's before you spend a pound at Ibrox). The broad Spi.v process will have various reincarnations with a change in MO/direction but always for the benfit of individuals, not the football club. We approach another 'change', times at which the spi.vs tend to be in a weaker position and are more vulnerable. That isn't to say there will be favourable change or that X, Y and Z are a ticket to dreamland but IMO the support should get behind the efforts to what is the priority, to break the spi.v stranglehold and at least give us a chance, rather than bending over for ever more.
  22. The JJB deal also included a large frontloaded payment. Regards the "uncertainty", you can add a lack of control due to SportsDirect calling the shots on financial matters over Rangers Retail in the joint venture.
  23. Bottomline - Ashely is involved with football clubs to extract value. - His MO is crude but complex and prioritises SD over the football club. - He'll slash business costs so as to make possible his 'take' from the commercial revenue whilst trying to ensure near 'minimum services' to keep (gravy)train on the track.
