STV Reporting both Boyd and Mohsni offered suspensions
buster. replied to 26th of foot's topic in Rangers Chat
I doubt Mr.Nash would sanction the 2,000 pounds required to appeal given the visible case for the prosecution and IMO, he'd be right. Would need to look closely regards the Hibs player (v Boyd) but that isn't really relevent now. I'd guess the compliance officer has looked very closely and judged that the 'forwards motion' with heid comes from KB. This might mean the Hibs player has played the situation in a 'cute' manner looking for the reaction. I think Boyd has been looking generally frustrated of late and his action here wasn't surprising. -
Perhaps Rafat is out at the Normady stables riding your man Chuck's horses and discussing business, then perhaps not. Guess that might be contingent on French extradiction treaties !!

But he's our liability ! -
Just found this. Rangers Supporters @rangersfctrust Shares purchased yesterday held in a nominee account (BNP Paribas) so no disclosure over who it is. Just as expected.

Professional gut feel.................Do you think they did or not ? I'm saying Not a chance in hell.

McGregor into the centre for Moshni and hopefully to stay there. Boyd doesn't look very interested and if McCoist is going to persit with the high ball then Daly might be a better target man Edit - Let's stay on topic here please, thanks. ~Z -
IS ALLY McCOIST'S POSITION UNTENABLE? asks the Herald....
buster. replied to SteveC's topic in Rangers Chat
Between The Sun and the Hearld, they have literally slaughtered McCoist and the suddenness of their change in tact will hit home with McCoist himself as the moment the 'Birthday Suit' was no longer visible. He now knows how precarious his current situation is regards credibility but perhaps also that the club can't afford to sack him or possibily even pay for a replacement whilst he tends to his garden. It'll be interesting to see his next press conference where he might prefer to talk about club politics and finances. Only at the Omnishambles that is Rangers. -
Didn't expect anything else.
-
From Martin Williams at The Herald http://www.heraldscotland.com/news/home-news/whyte-barred-as-director-after-shocking-and-reprehensible-behaviour.25471828 Surely there is a requirement to inform the market as to this transaction.
-
Given your history, perhaps you should qualify that with a bright red warning tag ....."as forseen by DB" :seal:
-
You don't appreciate the situation fully. If required, the appointment of a new NOMAD could change the game a little. Deloittes might like a reputable NOMAD. A reputable NOMAD might not stand for X, Y and Z. etc., etc. In the air........

Sons of Struth threaten boycott of Mike Ashley’s Sports Direct shops

That's another idea........... The SoS (with a conclusive case) could also look towards 'Supporters Direct' for support in a boycott. Fans of Portsmouth, Coventry, even Hearts might sympathise or recognise our plight and gripe with Ashely/Sports Direct and join a boycott. Rangers Newcastle Portsmouth Coventry Hearts etc ?- 92 replies

I've said several times that Chuck wanted them in from the start (IPO) as he has previous business dealings with them involving Rizvi companies and he has a friend who is or was on their board. They are at the low end of the scale regards NOMADS and ethics.
-
Their finances have been poor for a long time. Bit like their ethic's......... Lot's of things 'going down' all of a sudden. Anyone might think much of them are linked.

The likes of Muir will have been as careful as he possibly could have been, not to leave a trail of submissable evidence that leads to his door. Logic says that Lloyds were prepared to pay him what will have been a large bonus, not only for getting their money back but for being the layer of 'comfort' between them and what was required to achieve it. Here's hoping somebody starts squealing.

That article is a ground breaker regards the MSM and the considered view on McCoist. The 'Birthday Suit' is losing it's effect. -
I don't know but it may take years before it ends. As for who else is involved, I'd start by asking Mr.Duped about how a Captain of Industry with a PR advisor and friend who knew the intimate details on the CW infamous corporate history, could be so fooled.

There appeared to be a regulatory notice published yesterday, reminding X of the need to publicy "indicate" to the market.
-
The uber-staunch stance on everything Rangers is flawed and has been exploited by sp.ivs and their advisors. DB is a good example (but one of many) regards his support for those who fill their suitcases with loot aslong as they wear the club tie and say the right things. Collective objective thought is, or rather would have been sp.iv kryptonite.

No-one is above criticism. There would appear to be no easy route or path to a 'better place' and perhaps "clarity" is impossible to impart. This certainly complicates matters and leaves people second guessing but it would appear as that is where we are.........We reached this place partly down to a support in collective slumber. I think for example that the SoS are a fledgling group who saw the neccessity of going down a different route. More in your face public protests and they have done an amazing job in such a short space of time. However, perhaps we should forget the name of the group or individuals involved and look towards what their over-riding mission is and the fact that we need to change our ways and be prepared to get out and do something. Regards a boycott of SD. It's easy to dismiss, why not simply join it............as I said in an earlier post, we could attempt to extend it.- 92 replies

We associate McMurdo with Fantasy land and for good reason but looking at it coldly, he does what he does for cold and calculated reasons/benefits. Just as those in ongoing executive control of the Omnishambles, do so, producing 'calamity' for their own benefit.- 92 replies

The Rangers support tends to prefer the more comfortable seat and from there, we'll watch the club fade away. For those plotting or advising on sp.iv strategy, they have played their 'joker' on Rangers because of it and the deep-rooted divisions that some of them helped sow and nuture.- 92 replies

I think you have to start somewhere when the only language understood is pounds and pence. The Rangers support is vast in number but if most are dismissive then it won't get off the ground, but that would be only too typical of us tbh..........and it ain't helped us any. Rather it makes us a more comfortable target. What about the Newcastle support, they are peeved with Ashely....could we not look to extend any boycott and then look at other issues regards SD and say their employment policies etc. Start-up a social media centre to highlight whatever issues may arise. In todays society, ordinary people are getting a taste of rebelling against those who control and profit from an increasingly lop-sided society. Ashely and the way he runs SD is in some ways representative of this, eg. his employment policy/ 0 hour contracts...........A little vision and attempts could be made to tap into or direct this discontent towards SD. Previously impossible, with social media it can be a different 'battleground'.- 92 replies

When confronted by a puzzle that has no obvious or straightforward answer, sometimes you may be forced to take a route that may be bumpy and risky. What you can say is that they have been a very important part of an 'awakening' amongst the general Rangers support (not in any group) of how those in and around the board mislead, lie, spin and cream off money from the football club. This has in good part been why the ST numbers are where they are and suggests that it is thousands saying similar, not just me. As Forlan said, time will tell. They are at least fighting for a change in the club's situation, not standing by watching it fade away. --------------------------------------------------------- Can I ask you what your current (realistic & timely) strategy is/would be.- 92 replies
