    Thank's for posting that GD ! As usual Shackleton is 'keeping up appearences" but with nothing of substance. Or after so many repeated issues does the NOMAD seem to be taking any significant action to change such slovenly, misleading and poor corporate governance from RIFC. You left Somers very little wriggle room with that first e-mail. You had him 'bang-to-rights' and perhaps he's no intention of replying because the upcoming stage change in the ongoing process may have him leaving. What we have is: CEO: appears to have been misleading the court Chairman: Shown to be a bullshitter, hiding underneath the table. NOMAD: "Nowt to see hear Gov, honest likes"............Who are financially in dire straits, which reflects their 'freindship' with Green / reputation in the City.

    You have to consider that rather than purely natural evolution, this has been in good part 'created' or 'sowed and nutured' by those who have been and are interested in having such a situation. Ashely is very much included within the list of 'interested'. ps. Kelly hasn't arrived yet.

    That depends on what your 'goal' is. We've been an omnishambles but the spi.vs by and large have achieved their aims. Sp.ivs are interested in filling their pockets, period. There will be different MO's dependent on sp.iv but they all lead in the same direction.

    Look for initial gestures, heavy spin about 'the future' and then a little further on, copious amounts of 'expectation management'.

    In the absence of X willing to throw XXM at sp.ivs before the XXM needed at the club the situation is next to 'chronic'. What was needed as a matter of priority was firstly, for the support to come together (both monied and masses) to force a change in the dynamic regarding executive control in the boardroom. For various reasons this didn't happen. Now we are the preverbial 'scud book' being handed down between the sp.ivs or in other words, a corporate vehicle from which to make money, rather than a football club. If it continues, we'll simply fade away as a competitive force compared to years gone by, by which time the 'scud book' will be a next to worthless mess.

    Once the sp.ivs got a hold, they weren't for letting go unless X was willing to pay through the nose for it. It's far too simplistic to just say to X that they should have chuked XXM at it, then chuck another XXM at it. A situation had been engineered so as to lay a financial minefield and develop a process that used Rangers as a corporate vehicle to extract value from. They aren't for giving up executive control until they there is little or nothing left to extract. This process has stages, between which there is always a heavy propaganda effort to make the new stage appear more palatable than the previous.

    He's the one who has been in with the sp.ivs from 2012 and looks to me as if he was very much an option to keep the sp.iv roadshow on course. - links with Green who saw SD (Ashely) get more than one 'onerous contract' on board. - Naming rights for a quid - SD financial control of Rangers merchandise - Margins to suit from said merchandise - His spin doctor (Bishop) getting paid contract with Rangers in 2013 (for what ?) - etc. Ongoing Process.............. just another stage

    The general substance of what lys behind said conversation has been hugely damaging to Rangers and overtime has been fundamantal in creating an enviroment that could be exploited by sp.ivs. It's difficult to overestimate the damage it has done.

    Don't forget the other 'players' in our soap opera. Some of the others would like to see CW held up as the one and only villan and that includes Sir Duped of Murray.

    Because of the interest I have in the subject matter, I have overtime developed my own take on certain individuals involved from various angles. One of the first being the Dark Devil of Ibrox Spin, Jack Irvine who I prefaced with 'Toxic' and then further down the line his poodle, Bill McMurdo who I named 'Merlin'. These, more especially 'Toxic' come from the 'calculatingly devious' camp. Toxic alongside Sir Duped, sowed the seeds of the division within the support and has been carefully nuturing it ever since. So you could say that I have been busy 'spinning' myself which would be true but I am independent of group, have no monetery interest and only have the well-being of Rangers alongside my opinion of the current situation at heart. Now, you want me to comment on you specifically, fair enough. IMO you are, not unlike myself or many, in that you are convinced of your own take regards certain ongoing matters and take an active role in trying to explain your opinion and influence others accordingly. You write well, shape your blogs well and provide interesting material that is often almost 'politicaly presented'. So I woudn't say you were deliberately lying but I would say you were in part, feeding 'propaganda'' to the Rangers support. Let's try and keep this discussion constructive.

    I'm suggesting that supporters should take due care when interpretating any post, article, blog, media report to do with our ongoing soap opera. And rather than immediately dismissing the 'usual suspects' who X may have grown to dislike/not trust,....they might also like to be critically & anayltical of those who they have grown to trust or like the style etc. Our soap opera has been so full of misleading spin that it will probably used as a 'case study' one day. The spin itself has all sorts of categories, from the carefully planned and devious to the more innocent and unthinking. I have done a fair bit of study and observation regards the use of spin in todays society and find it both interesting and worrying.

    I don't think the "suggestion" carried enough weight or evidence to be termed as significant. For anyone who cared to dig, it was clear what kind of financial MO that CW brought to his projects. And even if one didn't dig, come the document he was forced to publish (by IBCommittee) and present to shareholders in June 2011 his MO was spelt out clearly in the English language.

    Back in 'Cold War', the Russian Politburo would feed their citizens a lot of propaganda. However, it wasn't effective because the people knew it was mainly bullshit, although there was little they could do about it. Today, in the UK and other such 'democracies', the citizens are fed a great deal of subtle and effective propaganda. Effective because a great deal of people lap it up and have grown to trust the outlets.

    So which would you consider the more serious ? RIFC corporate goverance, TRFC director and the English Language, RIFC regulatory Notice Correction Time/NOMAD competence. or The spelling of the name of a Hotel by a poster on Gersnet

    Would you apply that to the club's corporate governance, regulatoy notice's, Sandy Easdale, NOMAD etc., etc ?
