  1. "For every action there are born several new questions." Frankie The scale of division has been absolutely key to those with interests to hide and money to collect. Irvine has been the main man behind it for many years and it is now so deeply entrenched, that there is no real prospect of change in the medium term. It would survive an insolvency event. Between the division, the layers of corporate fog and contracts...........I don't see normaility breaking out anytime soon. Many clubs have sp.ivs feeding off them but the longterm toxicity that Irvine helped spread throughout the support, probably makes us unique in the sporting world but for all the wrong reasons.
  2. It was the one thing he could give up (for the time being) without it directly affecting his cashflow. You can't trust this lot and what goes on behind closed doors. The board seem to be inferring..... We've tried to convince Mike 'Not Normal ' Ashely to give way a bit, at least prior to the AGM.
  3. It'll be interesting to see what they say about that in the accounts. We already know the main numbers involved (cash not released) up until the end of June this year. A normal club will probably have more than 51% of the retail venture. A normal joint venture wouldn't have 49% (SD) controlling the financial matters of the 51% (TRFC). A normal club woudn't be so happy about receiving no liquid cash in times of cashflow crisis (in over 2 years up until the end of June 2014)
  4. Difficult to comment as there is no real clarity there. On the face of it giving up the stadium naming rights is a plus but we don't know what is taking it's place or how they define "normalised" wrt to the retail operation. Interesting to see that it wasn't viewed as normal and perhaps will be used in the old AGM 'let's blame what's gone before' trick....which we saw last year and was laughable given this years events. I'd say a 'normal retail relationship' would be one where appropriate levels of cash reached the club. More especially in times when we need credit facilities for cashflow and have to indirectly 'pay dearly' for them. I'd also say the option/terms to buy-out the TRFC 51% in the retail joint venture were heavily 'loaded' in favour of Sports Direct. Not fogetting the SD 'control on financial matters' with only 49% of the shareholding, normal ?
  5. This is a valid point that individual fans may view differently. The important starting point is that we are all Bears, there should be a recognition of that common ground and respect for reasonable opposing views. Re. messageboards Thereafter fans who choose to can enter into debate.
  6. I believe this is an allegation and I'm not yet aware of charges being brought. Or did something happen today that I don't yet know of ?
  7. He/they have succeeded in the promotion and nuturing of division between posters/forums etc. to the extent that the obvious middle/common ground of being a Rangers supporter means nothing. That includes obviously intelligent guys who have bought into to it for whatever reason. I've seen some examples of bawsburst speak and it's an endless promotion of conflict and division. He will seek to label, with or without reason and attack/divide on that premise. It's too easy to get caught up in although it's best to keep to facts than name calling. Ultimately, it's a waste of time because opinions are deeply entrenched but one day as per Whyte and Green, they'll have to eat their words and admit they've been suckered again. At that point, no-one will be happy.
  8. That sounds like a particularly unpleasent experience Remember gents, no name calling. Facts are our friend.
  9. "Known Rangers men" This has obviously been one of the better kept secrets throughout the soap opera or perhaps it was "known" only to a few. Then again it might be "known" because someone told them it was known and who is/was* working for them, wee Jack the Divisive Misleader in Chief. * delete dependent on how wind blows. Bottomline Easdales are fronting for the faceless and are second-hand stand-ins for Green. It must be said that they do seem to have invested some money (although quite what James brings to the party on the RIFC board is a mystery) and they don't seem to be partaking in the frontline trough feeding.
  10. Whilst recognizing the points made by Tannoch, I agree with you. He's away with the Scotland squad so let him be, whether he plays on Friday, or not (we all know he won't). I'd imagine that players who didn't play against Ireland will be working out on the Saturday as the manager's thought's turn towards the England game. Ally should just get on with preparing the Alloa game without Lewis MacLeod.
  11. I really think we should give Cammy the opportunity to tell us what is really going on at Ibrox. I'm not bright but have now gathered from Cammy that 'The Daily Record' is one of the clubs main enemies and obviously responsible for where we find ourselves today. Here was me thinking that those in charge may have been responsible, but you learn new things every day. Tell us more Cammy............... I have a feeling that C48 might even be able to turn his hand to a Monty Python sketch.
  12. Irony Bypass II So is that translated as "I don't know but I'll do it anyway"....?
  13. Sounds as though Cammy might be a gangster or know a man who is....
  14. Had a look at their site. Quality gear that would make a decent Xmas gift, complete with nice packaging. Especially if there was a discount involved.
  15. I wasn't aware what McCoist had said about it and the general point was made with sarcasm in mind (regards what Somers had said).
  16. "Under the terms of the 2M Credit Facility MASH has the right to appoint up to 2 directors on the board of directors of TRFC."* This may or may not tie up with who eventually represents TRFC on the Rangers Retail board. Note. That the joint venture is between TRFC and Sports Direct International. and that within some documentation TRFC is referred to as RFCL (as if it wasn't confusing enough). * as well as 2 on the RIFC board. http://rangers.g3dhosting.com/regulatory_news_article/407
  17. According to Companies House, Sandy Easdale and David Somers were today appointed as directors at Rangers Retail Ltd for TRFC. http://wck2.companieshouse.gov.uk//wcprodorder?ft=1 They replaced Wallace and Nash. I'm sure they'll keep everything sweet for the interests of Mike Ashely.
  18. I think the situation has been fluid and any such appointments/plans were shelved or changed. ??? 1. Cashflow, the lack of of. 2. Uncertainty regards who would take things on, leave stage clear for their men. 3. Certainty regards who would take things on, leave stage clear for their men. 4. Place ads with no intention of going through with process. etc. ---------------------------------------- I'd have thought regards present that Ashely will select or at least approve of new appointments. The vital timing for them is to have the ducks aligned a few week prior to AGM, ie. probably within the next fortnight. So as there can be as smooth a possible changeover, maintain executive control, look for 75% on any special resolutions, blame the last lot, everything is going to be fine. We have on RIFC board:- - Somers - Easdale.J (Easadle Block)..26% - Crighton (Laxey)................16% - Llambias (MASH).................9% - GAP (MASH) - Leach (MASH/Consultant) 26+16+9= 51 Rangers Retail (director representing TRFC (new appointments today) Somers Sandy Easdale

  20. Apparently Mr.Somers is looking at CV's but not applications, maybe. He thought Stockbridge had been a force for good at Ibrox. Here's a video of BS about 13 months ago after releasing the accounts. Given the horse-shit he comes out with, he was always going to have to leave the building, long before reallity hit home.
  21. That's James, but a Rangers Insider said that the Bus Tycoon had lent David his crayons, told him that this loan wasn't an investment and that he needed them back after he'd scoffed his jelly piece. There is no truth in the rumours that David offered to return them immediately if he could get half of the jelly piece. David is away for Media practise after his primetime triple contradiction in 60 seconds regards a CV of a man in a corridor.
  22. Simple question to help you clarify the situation. What was the reason you were told why the numbers who voted in your category weren't to be made public ?
