  1. Three Cup-ties against top tier opposition brought in less than 43,000 combined. ICT: 15K St.J: 13K Kill: 14K Cup Gates (net revenue) is shared so it appears as though match-day income for three cup games will be less than for one Home League game. Broadcast money will boost it. Note Albion Rovers SC tie on a Sunday last season: 24K
  2. SC.......... Any which way to keep his show (gravytrain) on track. For me, it's went past the point where his past cuts any ice whatsoever. He is dishonest and/or delusional.
  3. Still waiting on an objective analysis of Sir Duped, how he conducted business with the Murray Group as a whole and what part the banks played financing it. Doubt it'll ever come from the Daily Record / Sunday Mail.
  4. McCoist has been given the full bhoona of PR back-up this week, with a daily Legend. This family angle neatly ties it up and now it's back onto the pitch where he tends to find it more difficult.
  5. Why would this happen to a NOMAD, aren't they very reputable ? Let's see, Charles Green wanted to bring them in from the start (IPO/late 2012) probably gives you an indication.
  6. You're suffering from paranoia now because this was an innocent wisecrack that was contextual considering the timing regards your possession and dissemination of information
  7. We need to study the retail deal further using the new info, distill the facts and present them in laymans terms......................then if the facts are as we suspect, consider a campaign regards avoiding Xmas spend in Rangers merchandise.
  8. It wasn't meant as 'in the pocket of' wrt influence. It was simply meant as in somewhere to hide and pop-up from. I only thought of and used the 'bigman' because I saw him in the photos that were on the official site. Please don't reply as it seems to bring back that same mental image.
  9. I now have a disturbing mental image of BH hidden in the jacket pocket of the 'big chap' (was on opposite side of table to BH in October meeting) and occasionally popping his head out (like 'flowerpot men').
  10. Are there any quotes in the article ? Does the DoF come complete with money trees to plant at Auchenhowie or is he a partner with the Judas Blogger and his SuperAbundance Preaching ?
  11. I don't think it would, it'd have to be liquidation to get rid of them and even then there might be issues with 'ownership' of x, y or z. Rangers Retail seems to be as loaded as ever towards SD/MA. Have to look into it more closely.
  12. Thanks FS ! I'd imagine you may have a few questions of your own that include the retail operation. The obvious one being, when is money going to be released to TRFC ? What isn't normal about "more normalised" as per regulatory notice 12/11/14 ? Financing going forward ? Good luck
  13. This meeting/listing questions slipped my mind It was only looking at the date that made me recall the meeting. I'm sure the retail operation will be enquired into if the opportunity arises.
  14. RFB meeting tonight according to the Minutes. Anyone know if directors will be attending as per invite ?
  15. Midweek League Cup games ICT: 15,208 St.J: 13,023 Weekend should boost it but current mood and date (re.getting closer to Xmas) will have negative impact.
  16. The amount of vitriol and hate that is poured out in the direction in SN is IMO wholly disproportionate with what actually happened and relative to what others have done within our long-running soap opera.
  17. A 'semi-erotic but tasteful' Rangers Ladies calendar might sell better amongst a certain sector of the support.
  18. Aye, go and take on the media.....that will save us [EDIT] Let's avoid the personal stuff towards fellow forum users, thanks. ~Z [/EDIT] Don't forget the Judas Blogger does Abundance Preaching aswell if you need some extra cash before Xmas. "You can become a Partner In Superabundance with Bill McMurdo!!" http://www.freewebs.com/billmcmurdo2/partners.htm
  19. Too many of the players lost their discipline at Tynecastle and this reflects badly on the manager. One after another senior player, they gave the referee an opportunity to send them off. I don't think there is much respect or 'fear' there.
  20. That along with his gambling against the club would cast him in a very unfavourable light. Any idea how the story came about, Frankie ? Black telling lies or media invention with Black complicity ?
  21. A real and lasting solution will only be from the top, down. ie. The boardroom...........and that isn't easy.
  22. I think his approach to betting on our games gave an example of how he views Rangers, it's strictly business and that he's passing through with no emotional ties to the club. In some ways you have to salute his honesty in what he says in the article. If that is what he thinks, then he has told the reporter straight without any of the usual bullshit spin attached. At the sametime, I find what he says abhorent but confirmation of how todays society operates. Do they really call it all "progress" ? Part of the feeling against Black is down to him abusing the Trade Descriptions Act, being called a hardman but being made of chocolate and being part of a central midfield unit that has very little creativity, but then that is down to the manager.
  23. Thanks Steve. Now that you say that, I think someone mentioned it briefly on FF a few weeks ago, it might have been yourself. MA has been known to offer a loan in circumstances that he recognized he could take advantage of further down the road. There was a link posted (article) that in part detailed such a case. IIRC it had something to do with someone involved at JJB (or who later was), possibly as CEO.
  24. Ashely used to hire and fire managers at Newcastle but came to the view that it led to wasting a lot of money, paying off managers and bringing in new players for the next one. His financial strategy wouldn't work doing this, so he changed tack and went to the other extreme, a statement of intent, an 8 year deal for Pardew and an impervious, water off a ducks back reaction to calls for his head. He needed someone who was onside with what he wanted, someone who wouldn't rock the boat and would remain loyal to him, if not always the club. I don't disagree with sticking by your manager but you have to get the choice right. However, over and above that we need a board who have the long-term interests of the club as their priority.
  25. The 'secret' at Hearts isn't any particular individual.........although Ann Budge stakes a claim. It's on and off field strategies that everyone throughout the club is buying into and that seem to be functioning well. They have created a positive energy and momentum. Neilsen seems to be a good fit for his role within the footballing operation/strategy. Frankly, we are the opposite and have forced our way up the leagues by weight of wallet but no vision or credible strategy (other than for sp.ivs to fill wheelbarrows). It's no accident that the metro bank account is empty, 100M should have seen us in a strong position going forward.
