Appointment of Chief Executive Officer = no surprise!
buster. replied to SteveC's topic in Rangers Chat
Will c&p a post I made just there on FF which touches on some of what you say. As you mention, I don't see it working at Ibrox for MA in the medium to longterm without him changing his spots. There is a deeply cynical malaise already set in within the support that for many is already edging closer to the cliffedge of no return. -

SteveC says that "madness rules this shitty world" I'd say that generally............. ignorance is exploited by the types you refer to and at many different levels. I'd also say that we live in an increasingly "shitty world" because of it. Truth, responsibility and accountability have been relegated to a lower tier and calculated bullshit controls up on high and is having a trickle down effect. -

I think you'll find that Ashely extracts much more value than that under the banner of 'missing' connercial revenue. -

That is the only quote I can find where Ashely addresses his involvment with Rangers. However those few words say everthing say so much. -
Mark Hateley: I never knifed Rangers boss Ally McCoist in the back

And the Jackson source is..............Hateley or Novo or GCHQ or a dodgy Mirror group phone hacker (oops) ? -

You say "part of", what would the other part be ? -
First wave should be between 6 and 7pm. Might be with a 'subtle' delivery and 'info' coming from a 'Rangers insider'.

Look towards Ashely/Llambias and a ruthless strategy that wants in various ways, to take most of the Rangers out of the club and replace it with Sports Direct................Add austerity 'in the right places', weight everything in favour of Fat Mike, have people scared for their jobs etc.
-
At a normal club this would have been resolved last week. Our bunch of directoral clowns who have little interest in the club other than what it can do for them are if nothing else, consistent.
-
Apparently if you don't buy the semi-final T-shirt, they are threatening to send your whole family, Rangers knitwear.

'The Kaiser' certainly has quite a few memories that involve us. Should have beat them in the 1967 ECWC final aswell. Just glad we managed to get past their great early 70's team on the way to winning our European Trophy. I think it was him and Paul Breitner (both WC winners) stood on the goal-line at Ibrox like a pair of dummies after Derek Parlane's shot fleashed past them. If our present team played Bayern tomorrow, we could ship double figures.

Sandy needs to get confirmation from the 'guy in the corridor' whose CV happened to drop into Somers lap.

WH Ireland seem to be carrying on the Daniel Stewart 'baton'..........and are excelling themselves. Their first announcement, including the McCoist 'numbers'. Of course under Toxic instruction from RIFC. #Nest of Vipers

When and when were Rangers informed ? Are Rangers annoucing this in a timely way or is it 'strategically timed' ? I'm not inferring anything, I simply don't know but have seen this and other RIFC board(s) use regulatory notices 'strategically' in the past and so ask the question.
-
Misleading and deflectionary bullshit coming from the boardroom is a wee bitty more important wouldn't you say ? The sooner you realise this, the sooner you will stop getting so much, so wrong.
-
I can't seem to find out When did the SPFL actually inform Rangers that they'd withold broadcast revenue ? Anyone know ?
-
What is it they say is the first victim of conflict ?.....................the truth Who has that suited in the past and who would that suit now ?

I am in part agreement with that. For me, emotionally the husk isn't yet completely empty but it's certainly driving full speed towards it.
-
I see you want to return to your past 'days of glory' following Whyte and Green as they waged war on the BBC, SFA, SPL etc. Ask Santa for a deflector shield

Rules were changed post Vlad and the SFA are 'well within their Articles' to bring charges against Ashely.

. The board has had it's eye's open. The RIFC/TRFC directors could have settled for a lesser amount of Telfer money in the summer as per Wallace but apparently Sandy Easdale insisted in taking to a tribunal. Then there was the vanishing statement on the day of the Telfer verdict. Now we have the timing of this announcement. When did the SPFL actually inform Rangers that they'd withold broadcast revenue ?

I've seen the (original) film before,............."Siege mentality 4" Who is playing the Charles Green role this time ?

The post below is from a Newcastle fan on FF. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Originally Posted by magpieranger "We played over 100 games in Europe in the 10 years previous to Ashley buying the club. It was hardly the doldrums to be fair. Ok we never won anything, but we came very close and had the time of our lives in doing so. The hope, expectation, anticipation and downright excitement even just waiting for the fixtures to be released in June was something else and then that used to build up to the beginning of the new season. Great times and they were for me what being a football supporter is all about. I know i'll never see the like again. If anything it shows Ashley for what he is. He has all the raw materials there in front of him, not to compete for the title of course, but to be more than just aiming to be a mid table club that sells its best player every year (money which Ashley trousers) and that sees a cup run a hindrance to the real goal which is Premier League survival and another season on the gravy train. It's boring now. You turn up to have your eyes hurt by tatty Sports Direct signage wherever you look. There's no ambition, the hope has gone and there's nothing to get excited about. Win, lose or draw in the grand scheme of things it's unimportant. If we're looking like making the top 6-7 by next month Sissoko will no doubt be sold because we can't risk getting into that Europa League and those extra games next season and as far as safety is concerned Ashley will see it as job done so he'll cash in. Sadly a lot of fans I know would be happy for the team to struggle over the next 6 weeks as it's gives us more chance of keeping the squad together. If i'm being honest I don't know why I bother. I suppose it's because there's nothing better to do with my Saturday afternoons (shopping, DIY, cutting the grass etc) and I get to have a few pints with mates, some of whom I only get to see on match days. There's 50,000 just like me and Ashley knows it."
