Needless to say, the moves to reappoint David Somers and James Easdale are not particularly popular. But as Somers highlighted just a moment ago with his poor attempts at humour, the votes really don't matter - the ordinary fans simply don't have the power to make the changes they think are necessary.

Deserves to be. They are trying to limit engagement with all other fans groups and go via the fans board, voted for by a few hundred fans. At the sametime they are claiming to be addressing the issue of communication and engagement......they are but to their advantage.

Deleted post in other thread and put up this thread because the blaming of 'legacy issues' isn't wholly satisfactory or indeed rational when you study matters. I didn't see Somers keen to look at this angle when blaming Legacy Issues. Ashely Retail Operation/ Commercial deals Was declared 'not normal' by the board and modified so it was 'more normalised'. Be careful though, that could have been 80% Not Normal and it is now 70% not normal. We know how this lot operate. So Mr Somers we have your 'main man' Ashely as a man who is into creating 'legacy issues' with Mr.Legacy 'Green' Issue himself. ------------------------------------------- Llambias / Keith Bishop Associates / Green & Stockbridge. 1. Stockbridge oks mysterious payment to KBA (Dec 2012) at a time when Llambias is involved with KB (see other thread on Llambias for more details) 2. Llambias 'selling the idea' of stadium renaming rights to the support with Green in early 2013 (when they'd have already known the Quantum of the deal was a Quid). ------------------------------------------------ Easdale Proxy Block........The Home of some of the Onerous (legacy issues) ??

Well if you think about the month the invoice was dated, around 22M came into the club from the IPO of shares. That seemed to go very quickly and without much to show for it, so you'd imagine a pile of invoices may be similar or 'beefed up'. The financial advice for the IPO for a start. -
Another year,.... another AGM,.... another NOMAD,.... more New Directors,..... more Pay-Offs,.... more court cases,.... more business reviews,.... another Corporate Soap Opera.......... and another CEO. When was Derek Llambias first link, involvement or similar with Rangers ? Was it when he entertained Brian Stockbridge at the Five star Mar Hall last month ?....Obviously not, but Stockbridge features again a little later. http://www.scotsman.com/sport/footba...idge-1-3605063 Was it when he came up to Ibrox in early 2013, to help Charles Green sell the idea of renaming the stadium to the Rangers fans at Ibrox ?..... (He didn't mention that his boss had already agreed a deal for a one pound coin)..... maybe it was, maybe it was prior to that when Ashely was first dealing with Charles Green in his initial consortium ? There is one curious event that took place back in the end of 2012 that some of you may already know about. The CRO did some excellent work on it. A little background The Mike Ashely spin doctor is named Keith Bishop and his firm is called Keith Bishop Associates (KBA). On their webpage, they name Rangers as a client. http://www.kbapr.com/our-clients/sports/ Derek Llambias was a director of Keith Bishop Public Relations Limited, apparently from early 2012 until not long before he became a non-executive director at RIFC on the 3rd of November this year. On the regulatory notice it listed KBPR as a "past directorship and other positions" http://rangers.g3dhosting.com/regula...ws_article/411 Adam Llambias, son of CEO Derek , also works or worked for Keith Bishop Associates. Many Newcastle United fans believe Bishop got the Newcastle work through Llambias. In PR ranking, he's not top tier and they wonder why Ashely sticks with him and that Bishop makes a hash of the Newcastle PR. Now we come to the curious........An invoice dated 13/12/12 was sent to Rangers by Keith Bishop Associates for the first quarter of 2013. They were told by then Finance Director, Brian Stockbridge, that invoices from KBA had to be paid despite no explanation being provided about what work KBA had done for Rangers. At this point I'll C&P the excellent and informative CRO article . Stockbridge, Green, Ashely and Llambias seem to have been 'partners' in a fair few things along the way and so far I'm not seeing anything beneficial to Rangers.

We should have known that they'd time it this way. AGM,............. what AGM ? The news for the fans will be McCoist, McCoist and Post McCoist. Online, the messageboard servers will struggle to cope. What was stopping them do this last week ?

In the few days prior to an AGM at Ibrox, it would probably be sound council to ignore newspaper articles that seek to talk people up or speculate strongly on what may happen but without real evidence.

I've edited out the part you think OofO, if you want to, you can do the same in the quote. If you fail to realise or acknowledge that the MO of Ashely could be different to CW/CG but still have the capacity to be damaging to the longterm interests of the football club, it betrays a limited grasp on matters. This would fit with your track record. -

So after all your previous experiences of judging past regimes, which will have included a belief or hope that Rangeritis had kicked in. You are once again basing your opinion/views on another regime, by mostly ignoring previous MO and hoping that it'll be different this time and Rangeritis will kick-in.
