Notice lodged to remortgage Ibrox and Auchenhowie to Sports Direct
buster. replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
Re. Toxic Blogger On days such as yesterday, a 'rapid response' at a strategical time helps us understand some of the dynamics of the moment. It says that: - the moment is considered important by Irvine regards fan opinion and interpretation of actual events. - Those who give Irvine his remit (Easdales/Easdale block) have informed him of general situation and asked him to act accordingly. This also suggest that Easdales/Easdale block are very much in bed with MASH (could be a unified onerous interest to keep executive control fom 'blue eyes').- 209 replies

The RFB are becoming an irrelavent distraction when it comes to the ongoing actions in the RIFC boardroom. They either take extraordinary actions in extraordinary times (ie. outwith set guidelines/protocol) or they silently continue as they were and thus should be ignored and accepted for what it is (ie.designed to be powerless against RIFC board).

McMurdo is simply a tool of spin who is used by Irvine, to further the interests of his clients. To try and pretend otherwise is to patronise the supports intelligence and lie to them.- 209 replies

Ibrox is a hugely important part of our club and it's history but I think there is a greater issue in play. The very soul of our football club has been steadily losing it's roots over the past few years and is in real danger of being cast adrift and claimed by Sports Direct. For them to wrap up a new soulless franchise, to go big on austerity, moonbeams (April/May), austerity, mediocrity, expectation management, mediocrity............... Being realistic, austerity and new business model will be required by whoever was to come in but the broad difference is that one set will prioritise the beneficial interests of Sports Direct (MASH) and the other Rangers (LP&T). We are in an extremely deep hole but going down the Sports Direct road will rip the soul out of our club and it would be Rangers in name only.
-
Part of article in link.......... ------------------------- So it would appear as if the board of RIFC (which seems to be very Sports Direct orientated these days) asked Letham, Park & Taylor for 5M which allowed the boss of Sports Direct to trump them with 10M. In so doing, allowing MASH to get control of the negotiating with the notice to lodge to use Ibrox and Auchenhowie as security and not asking LP&T for an improved offer before so doing.......to avoid using Ibrox as a security as previously pledged by this board. That looks BAD and is surely another example of the Sports Direct boys and sp.ivs (in other words the RIFC board plus shadow director S.Easdale) being in this together in a desperate attempt to keep prying eyes from what is under the bonnet.
-
Regards 'political matters', the RFB hasn't been designed to be able to cause 'public problems' for the RIFC or TRFC boards, ones that might lead the broader fanbase to issues, pertinent questions and possible subseqent action(s).

No doubt having a word with his 'buddy' Paul Shackleton. 'The Fluid Process' of various stages continues, it was inevitable that the main assets would come under threat or have came under threat since that fateful day in May 2011 when Sir Duped signed it all over to Craig Whyte. The only doubt was timing unless someone came in with 'funny money' or the support acted as one in a considered and intelligent way. We await developments.- 209 replies

One other significant variable to bare in mind when it comes to comparing Moyes and LVG wrt to League points total, is that Moyes had a midweek Champions League campaign to deal with whilst LVG has next to no midweek games (European or League Cup). So with that in mind, Moyes (via CL) must have brought in over 30M pounds or at least enough to cover the 27.5M on the graphic above. LVG wasn't expected to win the title but he will have been expected to qualify directly for the CL or at the very least indirectly through 4th place. If he didn't achieve this, he'd be vulnerable. Question If Everton or Spurs were to win the Eurpa League and qualify for the CL 2015/16, then would that mean 4th place in the League (EPL) wouldn't ? ------------------------------------------------------- I think you have to begin to focus criticism on the Manchester United board regarding their managerial appointments.
-
This is where LVG has questions to answer and problems to solve.

Not really, it's a load of 'irrelevant tosh' that only goes to emphasis the lack of meaningful material out there that may be perceived as positive wrt to our situation today. Mike likes a drink and is just a down to earth guy,................and the point is caller ???......... Taking tabloid filler tosh to new levels !!

If Manchester United are a goal behind then those last 15 minutes painted a dark picture for 'The Reds'. The minimum you'd have expected was urgency, waves of attacking and some chances being created, there was none of that. There is something wrong when the likes of Rooney, Van Persie, Mata and De Maria are all part of a team devoid of creativity, fluency, and attacking threat.

12/01: American businessman Robert Sarver pulls out of running
buster. replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
Sarver leaves the stage but did he ever really arrive ? What a surprise -
Yes, it was the manner of the defeat rather than the defeat itself that will have alarmed the club.

Has the boards left hand been introduced to the right hand???

Annoucements from RIFC are seldom clear and informative statements for the market. They have often been used to further mislead and confuse. Given the general MO and behaviour, we have grown used to expecting such even in market annoucements. -
Nae concert parties here. Funding and Representation from and for Letham, Park & Taylor. EGM may be called by Oasis (DK).

Group Of Celtic Fans Pay 3k For Advert In The Hearld
buster. replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Generally within the media, it'll be the Celtic support who suffer more from their own advert than their supposed target. Paying 3,000 to get further labelled 'obsessed internet crazies' isn't a smart move. -
Our main problem with the media for more than a decade, centres on it's exploitation by spindoctors to mislead, confuse and further divide our fanbase to an extent that we find it difficult to focus and bring our power to bare against those in the boardroom when necessary. Forget 'cabals', they tend to be a tool of the misleader.

Saw the last 15 minutes of the Southampton defeat and United were clueless and devoid of creativity or real intent. May end up struggling to qualify for the CL. --------------------------------- @OliverKayTimes: FT: Man Utd 0 Southampton 1. #MUFC 37 pts from 21 games. Exactly same as under Moyes last season. Fewer goals scored. "Philosophy" unclear Add XXXM pounds spent.

In an ideal world maybe, but we are in a much more difficult place which means a realistic and viable approach. There is also a time issue/constraint regards the transfer window. Our squad is good enough to get promotion but we need the club to start to believe in itself again and for a real change in management that inspires the current squad to play better football and earn better results.
-
Much of the damage is already done and realistically we can only hope to reach the 'play-offs' in better form, with a more coherent and effective way of playing football/getting results. To this end, the one variable that would need to be addressed immediately, is the first team management and coaching set-up.
-
You would have to ask them, but I doubt they'd be able to form any precise plans until they were to find out exactly how bad a situation they were going into and thereafter tweak/confirm plans of financing the way forward. At the moment, the priority is to get executive control.
-
The next moves for Park, Letham and Taylor seem to be looking like........ 1. Funding 2. Board Representation 3. EGM called Can we at last dare to hope for 'cleansing the boardroom'. It would be the start of another difficult and challenging journey but it would give us a chance.
-
The reason why it's always been such an important part of the sp.iv plan to confuse and divide.

A drunken Paul in his 50's would probably improve our central defence

If true, one of two positives out of that would be that the 'Bears consortium' recognise the need for a root and branch change. The second would be that the Magath stakeholding would be on 'our side'. The unknown variable would be the suitability of Magath to the role.
