Yes, it does is the simple answer. Their members are getting a raw deal from the decisions of the executive. The platform that could have been used to put forward legitimate questions of the RIFC board has effectively been rendered not fit for purpose. To put it bluntly, King is playing a cnuts game.

Miami investor still keen to buy stake in Rangers

That would depend on the view and intentions of any new investor. -
Criticism from C1872 when they are, in good part, having their strings pulled by DK loses legitimacy.

The Family Protection Programme is a non-issue for the club but the new UEFA sustainability regulations (new version of FFP) certainly are an issue. -
I know that the odds on a defeat are short (not as short as the general mood on here) but whilst there is hope, we have to go with a positive attitude. Mostly defend but look to counter where possible. Just sometimes, you might get a break. Penalty award with a Napoli red card would be good. edit (odds) Rangers 10/1 to win tonight Napoli 2/9 Draw 11/2 Man City 1/9 to win next league game against 7th placed Fulham.

King lost more than a decent wedge in 2012. We'll always be thankful for what he did in 2014/15. He's entitled to try and sell his shares for whatever reason. However, you'd hope he wouldn't sell them to dubious parties with less than good intentions towards the club and you'd expect him to respect a fans shareholding group, rather than capture it for his own ends. It seems as the initial intention was to sell the shares to C1872 but retain the influence. Like several other times (Rangers v S.D.I, Dave King v SA Taxman), he has misjudged and is on plan B o r C.

The one person that I can fully get on board with being given a statue is Walter Smith. We could do with it being erected in the dugout.

Surely their Georgian winger, Kvaratskhelia is due a rest. Napoli should be charged by FIFA with Cruelty if they play him against such a woefully off it Tav. Seriously, the logical approach for the Italians is to get the game won as quickly as possible (2 or 3 goals to the good by HT) then use subs and coast. So, we'll have to be ready for the fast start. So much talk about damage limitation and the obvious differences between the teams. We should be looking to surprise them early on and support counter attacks with reasonable numbers. Bottomline is that to continue alive in Europe, we need to take something from the game and the Anfield approach won't wash. We aren't keeping a clean sheet, so we'll have to score.

For me it's about the performance......Organisation, Determination and Energy If we were to get that right, the result should take care of itself, ie. a defeat, but not a doing. I'm hoping, rather than expecting. Ths is Gio's 11th CL group game as a manager 10 defeats BUT his win (@Feyenoord) was against Napoli !!!

C1872 are ripping the pish out of their contributors. DK is ripping the pish full stop having effectively captured the main fans shareholding voice when he was still on the board. The RIFC board have certainly had better years. TRFC, that would be going off topic. #FcukinMess

Miami investor still keen to buy stake in Rangers

I referred to living within our means, nothing to do with anyone else. We are accustomed to making a significant loss. Spending our way out of problems. Since 2015, it was a legitimate medium term strategy (constructive losses). COVID didn't help the timescale. Obviously, this may have knock-on consequences with on field performance / expectations. -

I think we are going to have to start getting used to living within our means. We aren't accustomed to it. -

Better the present than another disaster. Different story if investor(s) have good intentions. (Comes with bleeding obvious categorization). If there is doubt, then better to say no thanks -

Aye, a little info and common sense.....As it was with Whyte and Green&Co. Amazing how many look past the bleeding obvious. -

Rather depends on who the potential investor(s) is/are, what you can learn about them and common sense. If you smell a rat then visceral reluctance is the way to go. What is more important is what the major shareholders do if interest is shown. -

I was too busy running around after a ball, then burdz, then a green beret, then the y train during those years to get a handle on upstairs. -
The difference is in the energy, intensity, creativity, goal threat and belief.

So sometime before ST renewals ? Celtic should have got rid of Lennon in late October (really shoudn't have hired him in the showers, we are glad they did) but citing past achievement and loyalty they hung on until well into the following year, despite major fan protests. A month or two before ST renewals they finally pulled the plug.....No replacement until the summer. I wonder how our board see things just now and how much finances are conditioning that view. We don't have the same amount of money to throw at it as they did last summer. They'll probably get automatic CL again and spend much more on the squad than we can. Unless we appoint an excellent manager and our recruitment is the same, then a real gap will start opening up again. With that in mind, do/should the board (with an eye on the league title) look to be proactive and make the change now ? They are in a very difficult situation.

That is obviously up to the members but your quesion could lead us to what IMO is the real issue. DK has from way back looked to influence and essentially capture C1872 for his own purposes. However, like several things in the past, he has come up short or lost the investment, eg. Rangers v SDI, lost 20M Rangers/Sir Duped. Further back Dave King v SA Tax Authorities. Now he wants to sell his shares. He had the C1872 executive primed to push it forward and it has predictably bombed. Once money goes into the club, it is very difficult to recuperate all of it, never mind make a profit. That goes for anyone, including previously successful businessman. There is no sign that will change and that is why you have to ask where do asset strippers plan on making money with Rangers. What next for DK ? I don't know if the story is true, about threatening Rangers with pushing them toward administration if we didn't pay him back his loan. The problem being I don't trust Mark Dingwall, who I know will always be prepared to bend truth for others (sometimes for the greater good), nor do I trust Dave King that he wouldn't make what would probably have been an empty threat. Is he somehow involved with this apparent interest from Kyle Fox and the company she represents ? If Paul Murray is/was, then very possibly but really, I don't know. The current board are certainly reaching a difficult juncture. One that shows just how difficult it is to make a a club accustomed to run at a loss into a sustainable business and keep everyone happy. -
We'll get beaten but I don't think it'll be by as much as some think.

Another non award for me. Nobody stood out for being good. Only less worse than others.

If I am a manager with a decent reputation I wouldn't want the job until I could bring players in and overhaul a stale squad #summer
