  1. It's been like a car crash in ultra slow motion. Between pay-offs from Madrid and Chelsea he could probably buy 9 clubs in the Scottish Premiership.
  2. Better,...probably ! But the decision has been made, nothing more to do about it. We need to get over the 'blip', start firing again and get the confidence back rather than worry about opposition (other than MW and the video analyst coming up with a gameplan).
  3. This is like many other matters, to be properly understood it needs to be examined considering Mr.MASH strategy aswell as any questions to the board.
  4. Yes' date=' but ever thought of writing an investigative blog that focused on Mr.MASH and the [b']dark strategies that threaten Rangers?[/b]
  5. Transparency in some areas is difficult with gagging orders and live court cases.
  6. I'd agree that DK sometimes says more than required and sets himself and others up for future problems and unnecessary pressure. However I'd say that what Mr.MASH/SDI are currently doing deserves the harsher spotlight and is what is really holding us back. Wrt the recent court case. Justice Peter Smith shone that spotlight in a very knowledgable way towards Mr.MASH but we end up talking about something which had little to do with the case and was basically down to a regretable f**k-up. This is...............Rangers...v ...MrMASH/SDI Question tactics, Be peeved at mistakes but .............Choose your side.
  7. Giantchelsea on FF summed it up well "It's a work in progress being done with one hand tied behind our back, it's important that everyone realises that." Some don't want to see it or even consider it.
  8. I'm simply talking about current and future cashflow at Rangers and who may have an interest in hampering it through a dedicated strategy.
  9. Strange decision but the day we are worried about John McGinn will be a sad one.
  10. I think that someone earlier in the thread suggested MASH may possibly be contributing to pay Greens legal fees for this ongoing claim. I don't know if this is true or not but it would fit with any MO that wanted to hamper cashflow at Rangers. Both in the short-term and possibly medium-term if what you mention were to come to pass.
  11. I'd agree that it's very much a question that has to be asked.
  12. The MO of the present government has been to take the the relationship between the board and employees down the same road to where Ashely presently is. Only Ashely, who enjoys sailing close to the wind, would seem to be a bit ahead of the rolling ball.
  13. Don't know but I would hope not. This being the time of year for predictions, I'd say it not unlikely that the mouth from Yorkshire becomes 'ill' during 2016 and seeks a doctor's note to give to court. The various appeals might seem to go on forever but time stops for no man and currently at 67 years old, Charles may yet have the word 'appeal' etched on his tombstone. I'm just hoping I live to see the end of all this. It's got to the stage that I'd die with a smile on my face, if certain outcomes came to pass. ... -------------------------------------- ps: Mr.Boabie That article is from September, before the first hearing.
  14. Stubborness + Consistency of MO + Wealth/Power............. V............. Complacency + Mistakes (including corporate governance) + Individuals with knowledge and grudge + Does the Law function as it should? ps. OP was a good read, thanks !
  15. Not an idiot. More a self-interested, arrogant and calculating preacher who had little to no moral compass as he serialy and deliberately set out to mislead the Rangers support whilst others were taking advantage.
  16. Not surprising but good to hear that the investigation continues and that the case appears to be building. All signs point to the Crown being very determined to get a comprehensive 'result' in a very complex and multi-layered case(s).
  17. "Daft wee laddie fae Niddrie" Didn't realise he was from Edinburgh.
  18. No, it's what we all hope that you keep calling them before the fall. #death, taxes and Hibs bottle crash
  19. In Spain, the equivalent to April fools Day falls on the 28th of December. I believe that is also when the 'Green Brazil' are due at Ibrox. ...
  20. I'd agree that we need to do more on the park in the sense of getting past this blip and ensuring promotion. I think that is fair, in that the players are good enough to do so and have at this level already shown themselve to be. These next couple of games would be a good time for the players and the manager to show us that they are the best team in the division.
  21. I'm going to plagarise the poster 'Giantchelsea' from FF and borrow his line that neatly encapsulates things. "It's a work in progress being done with one hand tied behind our back, it's important that everyone realises that."
  22. I agree that promotion is vital and that the squad could do with strengthing to that end. Although I don't think that necessarily means spending substantial cash on transfer fees. MW and FMcP know the budget, know the markets and I'm confident thay can find players that will add value. The club is where it is and the "carrots" of the past that have been expensive and that had varying degrees of success/failure are a thing of the past. Equally to go down that route is dangerous for the future of the club. There is a balance to be struck, that has to take into account the current situation and an appreciation of why we brought in Mark Warburton instead of an Dick Advocaat type.
  23. It's up to each individual to decide if they turn up or not but I'm trying to make the point that the club is still embroiled in off field problems and it's going to take time to sort out. That we either appreciate the change in approach to the football operation and take our lead in this from MW or complain and want to return to the ways of the past, both on and off field. The problem with the latter is that it isn't currently viable. The natural way of things is that when a football team drops it's performance/results that crowds will drop, that's nothing new. At various levels at the club things are 'work in progress' but the medium-term vision behind the football operation is sound and has good people in post. Consider where we have come from, where we are and that a firm foundation for a good rebuild was never going to happen overnight. A wee bit of patience is called for.
