It's not about AH falling out with FF though, it's what seems to be an inevitable trajectory towards implosion in various groups/boards. If it had only been once, I'd be less inclined to make a point of highlighting it but it isn't..........and it's not always somebody else's fault. It's surely time for others to make a go of it, some that are perhaps better team players rather than those with a 'history'.

The Rangers Independent Fans Consortium Ltd (another group?)
buster. replied to buster.'s topic in Rangers Chat
This consortium/group made me think of a conversation on here a day or so ago. It was a few lines in bold text between Frankie and BH on the 'Chairman's update' thread http://www.gersnetonline.co.uk/vb/showthread.php?75536-Chairman%92s-Update-To-Supporters/page6 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ That would suggest BH knew something in advance about this consortium (or less likely, other plans we don't know about). Could BH expand please. -
Someone on FF has noticed that the company 'The Rangers Independent Fans Consortium Ltd' (RIFCLtd) was incorporated on the 20th January this year. Link below https://www.endole.co.uk/company/SC524748/the-rangers-independent-fans-consortium-limited - The two directors of RIFCLtd are also standing in the Rangers First Elections,...Graham Campbell and Ronald Johnston. - There doesn't seem to be any mention of the company, RIFCLtd in any of their campaign literature. - Someone on FF who should know said it wasn't the vehicle for the proposed merger. I'm sure GC and/or RJ can tell us what another fansgroup vehicle is waiting in the wings for. Given dates, circumstances and who directors are,......a contingency if they lost is the only thing I can think of but it'd be better for the candidates to speak,

That is then something for the RF to deal with. What about your repeated, acrimonious and unfortunate past when involved with fans groups/boards etc ? It seems as if in these last 2 or 3 days you have taken off from where you left things and it is fairly obvious as to why that past has consistently ended up being 'unfortunate' wherever you have laid your hat. I take the view that despite your skills, history shows you generate a toxicity of sorts that sooner or later will come to the fore and manifest itself in a negative way for whatever it is you happen to be associated with. To speak clearly,.... IMO we need to break with the past consistent negatives and you shouldn't be part of a new Rangers fan intiative .
-
Are you saying RG gets paid by the club or does he get expenses for what is an ambassadorial role ? Is your strategy to eliminate opponents and not speak about your own unfortunate past when involved with fans groups etc ?
-
Well, well..... I thought BH sounded as if he'd changed from stirring mode to canvassing mode in the last 24-48 hours. At least his track record is fairly consistent over varying timescales. 1. Stir 2. Canvass 3. Implosion 4. Moan

However intelligent or good at administrative issues some people are they sometimes have a weakness that looms large in certain situations. The Internet and it's social netwoks have become a place where such a weakness can be see by many immediately after being made. You can often extapolate those obvious weaknesses to more private events/results and looking back historically you can better guess as to how that 'result' came about. When a pattern of similar 'results' occurs on various occasions, then you can make a more informed guess as to how things are going to work out in the future.
-
You are coming accross as if you were in canvassing for votes mode. Surely not the Donald Trump of Glasgow 2016 ...

There does seem to be a pattern of sorts that follows certain people over a fairly long time period that begs various questions. #DesperatelySeekingDivision

That'll teach us to try and play at Champions League style draws. I hope the SFA haven't binned the old balls with the numbers on. -

The aborted draw -
Agreed, I think any reasonable, thinking person that prioritises the collective need of fans and club moving forward will recognise this.

SPFL statement: Motherwell FC (Fir Park trouble v Rangers)
buster. replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
SPFL are the member clubs and as a body will on the whole look to give opportunities to individual clubs to solve problems / undertake reasonable measures to prevent X and Y......before taking punative action. The main problem IMO is much higher up the food chain and is with influential lobby groups (over many years) and legislators. They have helped facilitate a ridiculous level (society wide) of politcal correctness and badly flawed discrimatory legislation aimed at football supporters. -
Whilst there may well be a plan of sorts regards personnel/subs because of whatever factor, it will of course be subject to change. I'd also note that our bench for league games is now stronger after the transfer window, with more attacking options.

That is a step in the right direction.

No-one is saying things are perfect but some are overly keen to point to any perceived negatives without being realistic about where we are in our recovery or balancing them against the positives. The Kilmarnock side that we played was under a caretaker manager who got them to put in a real shift within a shape that appeared reasonably organised and made them difficult to break down. They are a side who have drawn twice against Celtic this season, including a goalless game at Parkhead. They blow warm and cold, generally do better away from home and it was predictable they would put in a performance against us in the Cup. Equally predictable, was that MW would set-up in a more cautious formation than normal after seeing the hysterical reaction after the St.Johnstone result. The base objective on Saturady seemed to keep a clean sheet and we managed to do that, the fourth in a row. Perhaps those who have moved from the defence to the forward line regards their criticism could acknowledge that. We had chances, hit the woodwork twice and did enough to win the game, but couldn't put the ball in the net. Regards overall progress, the important thing is developing the football infrastructure as a whole and getting promoted. Anything in the Cups is a bonus but isn't the true barometer of our progress. Hibs (who we beat 4-2 with 10 men) have beaten various top tier sides this season but would swap league positions with us in an instant in return for their Cup victories. Patience, Promotion and Realism are required..............then we prepare for next season

That's a line that fits well with much of your views on 'the subject'. #ExaggeratedDQ

It's schoolboy logic that some are using.
-
We beat Kilmarnock 3-0 last season, were we then ready for the top tier ?...............NO Is the club slowly getting it's act together and trying to build solid foundations..............YES Will we have the same team in the top tier..................NO Did MW learn from the St.Johnstone game and set-up accordingly..................YES Are we out of the Cup......................NO

Pep Guardiola is set to take home a whopping £25million-per-year
buster. replied to pete's topic in General Football Chat
Frankly obscene and ridiculous for various reasons. Although English clubs seem to be quite good at spending huge amounts of money without relative reward. Interesting timing for this 'info' to come out as it is said that Man Utd are supposedly speaking with the agent(s) of Mourinho. Mourinho has picked up large pay-offs from both Real Madrid and Chelsea in his last two jobs. Both spell's ending in long drawn out protracted 'unpleasent affairs' . Mourinho no longer seems to be a guarrantee of success, is very high maintainence and Man Utd are desperate. More tears ? ps. Mon Leicester....... -
A loss of form or longterm injury to Griffiths and Aberdeen have a real chance.
