Cup run of four games in nine days exasperates Warburton
buster. replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
The authorities have tried to address a number of issues in one fell swoop. - format of League Cup (+ sponser) - Summer football - Winter break But it seems like a half hearted, desperate, marketing push in several directions that doesn't really solve any problems. Or rather offers new things and throws up different problems. eg. As MW has said, the winter break of 3 weeks is of little benefit as far as he is concerned and brings up a similar situation as to the break prior to the SC Final. This should be the first and last time we enter at this summer group stage, so the "Blue pound" wasn't a material factor in this set-up, not to mention had we won the SC Final, we wouldn't be playing in it. -
Lewondoski Muller Pogba Hazard Ibrahimovic 0 goals Will Muller and Pogba break their ducks today ?

4 games in 9 days Play a mix of under 20's and first team players (rotating). If we go out then so be it, the priority is being ready for the League. -

Marko Pjaca, the Croatian sub looks another cracking prospect. Just turned 21, over 6 foot, strong with obvious ability will earn Dinamo Zagreb a fat transfer fee if his contract still has a couple of years on it.

Renato Sanches started the season in Benfica reserves and now is an important player for Portugal in the Euros and new 35M euro Bayern Munich signing !! He is still 18 years old

Had been looking forward to this game thinking they were two sides who would go looking to win it. If I was heid yin at UEFA I'd tell both reams to pack their bags and give Poland a bye to the semi-finals

Celtic v Rangers fixture should be played abroad...
buster. replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Thank's FS. I guess that would be a logical tendency given how the bigger leagues have developed financially and the smaller leagues like Scotland have fell away off the pace and profile. It would suggest that NARSA may become a pale shadow of what it currently is within a couple of decades. 'Superclubs' are hoovering up the money, the players and many young fans all over the world and they have become an almost irresistable force operating on a different planet. Collectivelly they'll definately be looking to play each other more and restrict 'smaller clubs' when it comes to the CL now that a new format is on the agenda. Playing in Scotland means it's simply not realistic to think we can compete at that level or hope to reverse trends wrt young supporters in Nth. America. -

Is there anyone who has been involved with or visited NARSA enough to give us a educated guess at the age demographic of members ? -

Given who is in charge of the overall footballing strategy, the various appointments made within the infrastructure and the successful hit-rate with signings to date then this detail sounds very encouraging. Would be interested to hear any comments the poster Elfidelo had to make.

After the referendum result, ET seems to be whispering to me now
-
As I understand it, predictions should allow for the 120 minutes including Extra Time.... (if you think it'll be level after 90 minutes). ie. If Croatia advance AET, it can't finish 2-2. Rousseau, have I misunderstood ?

Might be a very superficial point but the fact that the issues surrounding disabled supporters and their matchday experience come 5th in the DK pecking order of replies would seem to indicate that he sees it as a serious matter that really needs to be addressed properly.

On balance, it's probably only fair, proper and more messageboardlike to blame rbr.

Ashley ordered to pay SFA and Rangers legal costs.

Written judgement https://www.scotcourts.gov.uk/search-judgments/judgment?id=a77617a7-8980-69d2-b500-ff0000d74aa7 Mr MASH had to pay costs but got away with paying additional sums that were asked for by counsel for DK. -
It should set the bar higher and if the likes of Holt wants to play, he'll have to get to the level required. Over the years we haven't improved enough players and now, it has to become the norm. Add value from within instead of paying through the nose for it in the transfer market.

I meant regards having to let him go for nothing opposed to getting a fee.

Hamilton must be cursing that this has coincided with the end of McGovern's contract.

You are probably right, I don't know the rules.

Official: Joey Barton signs 2 year deal with Rangers

Some individuals yes, but the newspapers prioritise the commercial and editorial decisions will mostly be based on that. This is why the Record is called both the Daily Rhebel and the Daily Ranger. -

Without it, they certainly fade away more quickly.
