Scotland U21 v England U21 Semi Final Toulon Tournament
buster. replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Scotland lost on penalties to Turkey and finish 4th. Burke was the only one to miss. We also missed a penalty (Harvy St.Clair / 60th min) in normal time, 0-0 FT. McCrorie, Burt and Middleton all played a part in the match. -

At this stage 2.6M plus 7 home games would be like Xmas and help our finances and co-efficient significantly. Hope rather than expectation. . -

I'm not sure where we are at. We had to get one up and running first and I don't know where we are in it's development. -

It's really about getting a partnership that functions consistently. Alves could yet play a part. -

Scandinavians tend to adapt to the UK better and IMO there is better value for money available. It's down to the scouting to pick those who can play a bit before they start playing too well. Then we need an enviroment where more players actually improve. -

Maybe but I'd suggest a Viz like cartoon strip that highlights the immaturity on display. To begin with, you'd need a wee baldy Brahim Hemdani type, with a placard that featured four paragraphs of some obscure A of A . Then you could add in a more Vanguardian element with a different style. . -

Rumours from an influential and futuristic right-wing think-tank suggest there are moves to put a tax on the excessive use of unacceptable GIFs. -

It looks like you receive the amount that is beside the round in which you are eliminated. Group Stages (+) = money Anything else = 'peanuts' -

Blazer chasing = WMDs If the burning issue is about who wears the blazer then that shows a level of maturity that is embarrassing and pathetic. -

They are on a slippery slope where it's difficult to get a foothold. The fighting talk sounds positive but I doubt it has much substance. Needless to say, this upcoming season has the air of make or break and my prediction is Livingston beating them in the play-off final next May -

Mess we could have done without. The biggest issue is now the value of what is left on the cotract of Lee Wallace and mitigating any loss. -
English Teams In Irn-Bru Cup Next Season

Non league teams The SPFL really know how to point to their own product and effectively advertise to everyone that Scottish fitbaw is Colin Nish. Some may argue it's about the bigger clubs looking to set precedents. -
The Scouse influence coming into play. Bury have a pre-season game against Liverpool aswell.

Fans group history has shown us that it becomes more difficult and complicated to fully focus on working toward delivering their mission, when there are others within the fanbase hellbent on discrediting individuals/groups for their own ends. That isn't a catch all excuse because no-one has been perfect but none the less it is a fact. During the spiv years, some were prepared to colude with what was effectively 'the enemy' in their attempts to make sure groups didn't prosper towards their goals. -

The noise suggested a game being played and I think it'd be better for all concerned if Fod moved on (aslong as we get a reasonable fee in return). -

My memory isn't very good . Now that you mention it, I do recall something about that. Aslong as McCall intends to use him as a number one, all well and good. -

Some might argue that instead of being on the bench, it might be better for McCrorie to go out on loan to get more first team football,....but at a better level than the fourth tier. Thinking back to McGregor, I think he went on loan to Dunfermline and St.Johnstone when he was 22-24 years old. McCrorie was 20 in March. -

The old 'blazer chasing' line almost reminds me of certain governments and the citing of 'WMDs'. Personally, I have thought for a longtime that Club1872 should have a seat at the main table given the % shareholding and find it strange that this becomes a stick to beat them. IIRC Forlansister said there was little chance of this happening, I'm not sure why but FS knows more about these type of things than I do. I think it relevant to state that both RIFC and Club1872 have at base, the same motivations and it isn't wildly outrageous that they co-incide and work together on many issues. The known consequences of how certain individuals have funded the ongoing financial shortfall shouldn't be a surprise regards dilution. But when 10M was being spent last summer, not many complained. -

A few posts ago you talked about... "I really don't think you help the situation by carrying on its shoulders the tainted history of the old Rangers Supporters Trust" and now you complain about......."throwing around words like toxicity". Your flip-flopping only shows that you wanted to make a one-sided point and didn't want to hear any balance. It's usually best to face up to realities if you want to look to solve a problem, to ignore them is folly. -

Take the money and run (aswell as selling Foderingham) and let McCrorie be McGregors understudy. -
