If you refer to CQN/Brennan, I think that was/is a very different animal. -
Terrible thing to happen. Here's hoping he can recover from this.

Too much of the time the team was 'playing' around a less than active Windass. We need consistent performers -

I'd have hoped for SG seeing Windass as a way of getting a couple of million or so in the door to use more constructively -

I'm not really doubting what has been tweeted and I appreciate the information but is a steady leak from inside a good thing ? -

You have to wonder about the route of that decision/information. If SG has made his mind up about Windass, ok but how does that then get to FLHAD ? -
It probably is in some respects but it doesn't have the best football teams. The EPL's strength is the depth of decent quality teams competing at the top and that provides regular matches for Super Sundays and the like. edit Gonzo beat me to it

I think the timing has more to do with the two charges brought against Rangers by the SFA.

But that mediocrity seldom comes from Scotland. To break into that market as a selling club in a meaningful way we have to start performing at a European level that goes beyond August. -
Maybe forign aid donars are looking for something aswell.

Derek Johnstone: I'm delighted to be back as Ibrox Ambassador

Like most folk, DJ is bright enough within what could be called his own comfort zone but take him outwith that and he'll struggle. Big difference between most folk and DJ is with the latter, we are talking about public conversations in the media. -

He has his radio style and I doubt it'll change so I reckon a brief is as far as you'll get with DJ. Even as a player he wasn't willing to change his ways and his career was relatively short because of that. As an aside, I remember watching a video of what IIRC was Jock Wallace's first home game in charge (v Dundee Utd.) of his second spell and I was surprised to see DJ in a Dundee Utd shirt. I never knew he had a very short loan spell up there. I looked up his stats and he hardly kicked a relative ball after he left Ibrox in 83. -
I think last weeks words from Dave King would suggest the club have decided on a counter-offensive. I'd doubt that would happen unless there was sufficient material to get a hold of.

I think DJ is brighter than many give him credit for. He's sharp on the pun delivery and if the show was purely a football programme he'd be well within a comfort zone but we all know that football is at best 50% of it these days. Regards the political, I don't think he's that interested or can be bothered trying to get to grips with it. To be fair, to become an authoritive voice on all the politics that might up would extremely difficult/next to impossible but as a representative of the club, he could get sent an e-mail prior to radio appearences with a brief. -
Happy Birthday Ian Take a day off media duties and go let your hair down

Our money won't go far dealing with EPL clubs and players. -
How can Benzema be offside if the ball comes from what was effectively a pass from the goalkeeper ? He was never getting near to the through ball and that was always the keepers ball.

I thought the Durrant pass into space forAlexei Mikhailichenko to run onto and cross for the McSwegan goal againt Marseille was world class in itself but was followed by two more sublime touches before it hit the back of the net. Allied to the claims that emerged, the Hately sending off against Bruges raises a question we'll never know the answer to. If you look at it, there is an elbow and they happen in aerial challenges but it was the subsequent uncalled for push that got him sent off and that wasn't necessary. -
Thought the pitch was in danger of getting waterlogged with the amount of tears that were being shed. I think Real Madrid were always relatively comfortable, even in the early stages when Liverpool had most of the play and territory but weren't really creating much in the way of clear cut chances. Having watched Madrid a lot in Europe, you just knew they would gradually take control and their quality would come through. Similar happened in the Madrid v Juventus final a year or two back. The Salah injury really blunted the English side and along with the goalkeeping howlers put it on a plate and Madrid didn't really need to go up the gears. Gerrard arrives at Ibrox next week and I note that Zidane, a rookie manager is only the third ever manager to win 3 CL/EC.

Nae bother I think a few agents of goalkeepers will be giving Klop a call.

Spain continues to dominate La Liga sides have won 13 of the past 14 European trophies - Champions League, Europa League and Uefa Super Cup.

Ronaldo says he's not sure of his future at Madrid and he'll have to sort things out this week. Green and white flag that Ramos was holding is the flag of Andalucia (in case timbo is claiming another fan).
