  1. A 21 year old centre-half with enough about him to get a call-up from the full Croatian team (end of last season) must have something about him. Admittedly the (last) 7 minutes he got on the pitch, the Croatian central defence didn't appear to look very clever......(although they were stretched partly down to having a player sent off on 77 mins). For the goal Crotia lost, Katic isn't the offender (he's wearing the number 2 shirt). Good to see a younger player linked (regards squad age balance and resale potential).
  2. Sounds almost too good to be true. Here's hoping !
  3. Alan Stubbs says Ovie Ejaria must show he can handle Ibrox pressure Alan Stubbs is adamant the success of on-loan Rangers midfielder Ovie Ejaria will come down to temperament as much as talent – and reckons Celtic flop Charly Musonda should serve as a cautionary tale. https://www.scotsman.com/sport/football/teams/rangers/alan-stubbs-says-ovie-ejaria-must-show-he-can-handle-ibrox-pressure-1-4752256 -------------------------- You couldn't make it up. You have an article about the St.Mirren managers opinion on a Rangers loan signing which immediately casts a negative light by using the Charlie 'wonderkid' Mussonda comparison.
  4. This post will self destruct in 15 minutes..................tick
  5. Good post Frankie, I think that pretty much sums it up.
  6. List A has to be submitted online by the following fixed deadlines: 6 July 2018 (24.00CET) for all matches in the first qualifying round; For the qualifying phase and the play-offs, a club may register a maximum of two new eligible players on List A after the above-mentioned deadlines, provided the quota of locally trained players is respected. Such registration must be completed by 24.00CET on the day before the relevant first-leg match and the club’s association must confirm in bottom of page 39 and continuation......link below https://www.uefa.com/MultimediaFiles/Download/Regulations/uefaorg/Regulations/02/55/82/82/2558282_DOWNLOAD.pdf
  7. You have to hope that the club carried out a robust proceedure that will stand up to the appeal but in the back of your mind, you kind of know that it will fall apart. This is a judgement before the evidence is in but so much of what is going on seems to point at the necessity of bringing in a competent and hard-nosed CEO to manage the day to day. Whilst not a direct comparison as to motives/competence, there is something of the Bain/Sir Duped about Robertson/Dave King.
  8. Sorry but that is info I can't divulge.
  9. MIller was on the radio this afternoon (RadioScotland) and was mildly raging about 'the treatment' he'd had to endure this season at Ibrox, not once but twice. He didn't go into specifics but talked of having his say on everything once the current dispute is over and mentioned defamation. The anchor didn't think to mention that if it happened twice under two different managers, perhaps it had more than something to do with Miller himself.
  10. Scotland lost on penalties to Turkey and finish 4th. Burke was the only one to miss. We also missed a penalty (Harvy St.Clair / 60th min) in normal time, 0-0 FT. McCrorie, Burt and Middleton all played a part in the match.
  11. At this stage 2.6M plus 7 home games would be like Xmas and help our finances and co-efficient significantly. Hope rather than expectation. .
  12. I'm not sure where we are at. We had to get one up and running first and I don't know where we are in it's development.
  13. It's really about getting a partnership that functions consistently. Alves could yet play a part.
  14. A Man Utd fan wanting to buy Chelsea kind of says it all.
  15. Scandinavians tend to adapt to the UK better and IMO there is better value for money available. It's down to the scouting to pick those who can play a bit before they start playing too well. Then we need an enviroment where more players actually improve.
  16. Maybe but I'd suggest a Viz like cartoon strip that highlights the immaturity on display. To begin with, you'd need a wee baldy Brahim Hemdani type, with a placard that featured four paragraphs of some obscure A of A . Then you could add in a more Vanguardian element with a different style. .
  17. Rumours from an influential and futuristic right-wing think-tank suggest there are moves to put a tax on the excessive use of unacceptable GIFs.
  18. It looks like you receive the amount that is beside the round in which you are eliminated. Group Stages (+) = money Anything else = 'peanuts'
  19. Blazer chasing = WMDs If the burning issue is about who wears the blazer then that shows a level of maturity that is embarrassing and pathetic.
  20. They are on a slippery slope where it's difficult to get a foothold. The fighting talk sounds positive but I doubt it has much substance. Needless to say, this upcoming season has the air of make or break and my prediction is Livingston beating them in the play-off final next May
  21. Mess we could have done without. The biggest issue is now the value of what is left on the cotract of Lee Wallace and mitigating any loss.
  22. Non league teams The SPFL really know how to point to their own product and effectively advertise to everyone that Scottish fitbaw is Colin Nish. Some may argue it's about the bigger clubs looking to set precedents.
