  1. Bet365 will have a livestream of Osijek v Petrocub tonight (for account holders with at least 0.01 pounds/euros in account). Incidently, Osijek are priced at 1/5 on by the same bookie to win tonights game. Petrocub (midseason) unbeaten in 8 games Osijek played 5 friendlies prior to EL qualifiers, including a 3-0 win against St.Johnstone. 3. Anyone in the land of reality think Forrester will prove a good acquisition for the Tractor XI ? Promising first half hour then it'll be downhill from there.
  4. As Dave King said today, it's an expensive business to go through so many managers in such a short period of time. #PayOffCentral
  5. He's limited as to what he can say about the ongoing legal matters with SDI and TP. He doesn't mention the two SFA charges and the ongoing process. He hopes, like the rest of us that SG can be successful but it's football and we have to wait and see. What's important is how the above actually end-up and that would need someone with the predictory prowess of Craig to tell us ...
  6. I think it comes down to if Alfredo wants to be at Ibrox or not. If he genuinely does and it's a confidence issue then fair enough but if it is more and I suspect it is, then his agent needs to be called. There are 6 weeks left in the window, less if we are talking England. As for now, he needs benched (at least)* *Sadiq better get warmed up sharpish and Rudden couldn't do any worse
  7. We probably don't have a spare 750K in the budget.
  8. The frustrating thing for me is that I rate Morelos as a player, he's shown us that he can play and has various qualities but his Rangers career has sort of fell off a cliff (months ago) and the new season under a new manager is showing very little sign that things have changed. I think you are right that his value will continue to fall. There are times when I think you have to accept something isn't working and you have to do something about it. I think moving him on NOW would be in everyones best interest.
  9. I think we could do with a closed doors game this weekend. Work on things Thursday and Friday, game on Sunday to put it into practice then it'll be the European tie on the Thursday.
  10. You are right, there wasn't much time and tbh it serves little purpose to go over it. SG&Co have to look forward and quickly work on improvements. Is there a game (closed doors) this weekend ?
  11. Perhaps they should be but they patently aren't an irrelevance at this point in time. The sooner we realise that there isn't an automatic fast pass taking us to where we want to go, the better. The club have to get their act together at all levels, put together a coherent strategy and work towards it rather than the constant upheaval at various levels.

They've done what they had to but the real tests are still to come. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2017–18_Rangers_F.C._season
  13. I wouldn't read too much into clean sheets against Bury and a Macedonian pub team. If we can get one in Coatia and Aberdeen then it's a much better indicator.
  14. Looking at individuals goes so far but it's the middle to front block that the manager has to sort out via changes in personnel/formation/tactics. Rather than just change all the individuals, the manager has to prove his worth by coming up with something that is more effective. It looks undercooked at the moment, no real cohesion. I think we lack gametime and should have looked to play a couple more friendlies.
  15. To tell Windass and Morelos that they seriously lack quality, opposed to say a lack of understanding/cohesion is more or less saying you ain't good enough and I need new, better and/or more committed players. To get these you need finance.............. Sadiq plus one decent loan makes logical sense BUT IMO we seriously need to look at the Morelos situation and deal with it before this window closes.
  16. Yesterday was the preverbial pub team in opposition. Let's see if we 'control' the away leg next Thursday.
  17. Early days and we got through. Instead of further venting frustration, I reckon it's probably better to wait and see how we get on in the second round, there isn't long to wait. Given personnel, SG needs to further study the Walter UEFA2008 blueprint. Can we up our game for the occasion ? Yesterday we played a containing game. In his post-match interview, SG said that he'd told the players that a clean sheet would see us through and perhaps that was in the back of their minds and we didn't fully committ to attack.
  18. The post-match SG comments, "serious lack of quality in the final third" and "I'm concerned with the lack of quality in the final third" almost sounded like a plain and blunt message for those in the boardroom. At the sametime, if the reports of a 3M bid for another centre-half are correct then it heavily suggests we are waiting for a loan deal to bring in a forward with some perceived quality.
  19. Rather than ability,.........I think the issue is that Morelos doesn't appear to be that interested. We are in a transfer window, best to move him on if possible and bring someone else in before it closes.
  20. We would have had it really been at the 8 figure numbers quoted. We'll be doing well to get half of that number.
  21. Best do something about it SG ..............or you'll just have to keep repeating the same.
  22. I note that the Osijek home secind leg on Thursday against Petrocub kicks off at 2045 CET (7.45pm UK). Suggests an evening KO for our game next week if the Croats go through.
  23. We have a week to improve A LOT or we'll not be getting off so lightly.
