Apparently there is new video editing software with a feature called 'polish a turd'. It's software that uses various sources, eg. Youtube and Football Manager to put together a visual info pack on players.

SPFL Board changes (including Robertson being rotated with Lawwell)

I wouldn't bet on us 'automatically' getting voted back on as per 'agreement'. Perhaps we should ask the new board to revisit the 'Shifty McGifty' matter. -

Good point and it provides a chink of light towards potential group stages. Getting over the Osijek hurdle might be more difficult than a potential tie against Maribor given where we are in terms of 'readiness'. #IfsButs&Maybes -

If someone posts a link to google pics of the player without sight of anything else to link him then it's obviously a slam dunk signing. -
A dangerous undercurrent is brought into a degree of focus. The extreme far-right want the same as the radcal Islamists, ie. chaos......because it is this that both their interests are best served.

I think the tie is very much up in the air and that it'll depend who performs on both gamedays, defends well, takes chances and gets a little luck here or there. I think the away leg this Thursday will be a difficult match and I can't see us suddenly clicking in Croatia. I think it might take a few weeks until we see some good stuff middle to front. One positive about the Osijek tie was that in neither leg against Petrocub did they keep a clean sheet. Last season, clean sheets were a feature of their 4 qualifying rounds European run. -
Are Ken Schadenfreude's circumstances similar to those of Erich Schaedler ?

Nae chequebook needed, send them Alfredo in exchange. If they start moaning, threaten them with adding Halliday. -
Fraser might bring up a couple of points absent from the DK take,... that are fair enough for an 'independent journalist' on the public broadcaster but he goes way beyond that and writes a piece with a take, tone and language that might as well be a Celtic bloggers rant. It kind of sums up where BBC Scotland are camped.
-
To be fair to Christopher, he probably isn't able to post up positive stories on Rangers or negative stories on Celtic because there clearly isn't room for a mobile device and himself in Lawwells pocket.

He was but you are about 13 years late. We ended up with this lad instead............. -
There is an air of toxicity about Dundee United and it seems as though Lazlo ain't the most popular guy around with the support or players. Only one way that goes..........

Sometimes there is a deliberate agenda or 'method in their madness'. Charles Green decides to use the phrase 'Paki-friends' in a media interview that predictabily causes an internet stoshie then decides to use it again in a subsequent public explanation. #TicketWorked

Douglas Fraser, the business editor at BBC Scotland wrote a piece on the ongoing Dave King TOP issue and it seems as if he thought he was still typing a post on the huddleboard. https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-scotland-scotland-business-44908488

Can is kicked down road for a month and the legal fraternity get a little richer. That has been the safest prediction for most things at court in this onoing saga throughout the last 7 years or so. Although, the one that we were interested in going 'all the way' is where the polis and prosecutor 'decided' to go on Operation Clusterf**k.

Thread Catch-up The takeover bid didn't go through and instead................... Published: 13th July 2018 Dundee United Football Club today welcomes the news that Club Chairman, Mike Martin, Board director James Fyffe and two local Dundee businessmen, both of whom are also life-long Dundee United fans, have acquired the shareholding of former Club Chairman and director Stephen Thompson. Mr Martin said: “This share transaction strengthens our current financial position and provides the solid platform required as we continue to progress long term investment opportunities.” https://www.dundeeunitedfc.co.uk/news/5694/Dundee-United-Welcomes-Share-Acquisition.html

Both Osijek and Rangers will go into the draw for the 3rd round of qualifiers tomorrow, Monday. What team will actually play the 3rd round is very much up in the air in a tie that could go either way. The 50/50 take is presuming that we improve on the first round. Last week we went into the away leg 2-0 up and played a containing game. This time, we need to contain defensively but also look for an away goal or two. Our rightside with Tav is where a lot of our attacks are built but is also where the Osijek speed merchant, Henty tends to play (sometimes drifts inside and goes over to their right wing)....so we'll need to watch the 'counter-counter'. Osijek also have some physicallity and real height for set pieces. This will be a decent test for the defence and one that will better indicate at how the new players are fitting in. As for middle to front, the best about it is that we can only improve on last week. -

His season long loan to Freiburg was terminated in January. His subsequent loan to Bristol City didn't get much gametime (Bristol were fined by Liverpool as per loan contract). I wouldn't pin my hopes on this lad. edit For balance, looking further back to 2016/17, he won the Barnsley Young POTY award after a season with the Championship club. -

Osijek go through 3-2 on agg. A workmanlike team that is well organised, have got physicality, energy and a little quality here and there. No worldbeaters but will be far from easy and if we don't improve markedly from the other night,.....bla bla Henty was the main source of danger tonight. Has a trick and moreso has real speed. -

Petrocub have had a couple of chances, excellent chance a minute ago.
