Still some work to do on strengthening our squad. We need several more in. -

Was His value or International caps wouldn't have increased by sitting in the Ibrox stand. Better to take the money now and free up a wage. -

In the real world, the "correct way" for managers is to win and to marshall his resources towards it. -

Getting him out the door (and replacing him for a 'Gerrard type' player) makes perfect sense. He wouldn't have increased his value if he was still here but not playing, so the 2M (approx) up-front plus sell-on clause would be welcome. Not to mention freeing up a wage. -

Yesterday Hearts installed a new pitch over the summer but when asked how it was shaping up, Levein said: “It’s a bit long just now, that’s all I can say.” ps. Ridicule is the best way to get to Rodgers IMO. Saturday 11th August 2018 Hearts v Celtic -

A Sell-on clause (hopefully) may help realise some value. -
If as looks likely, they go out of the CL next week, it'll go up a level wrt recriminations and allocating blame. The board will probably try and time an incoming transfer for the Wednesday, which might actually pish off the green and grey hordes more and help direct the anger at Lawwell. The fact that they couldn't hide the public show of managerial pishedoffness this week is significant.

Essentially, the Political system has been 'hijacked' and is no longer fit for purpose of serving the interests of the majority. -

Few people (all around the world) get what they think they are voting for. Brexit is a little different in that not even the Leave Campaign really knew what the the bottomline of what they were campaigning for and quickly made an exit after the referendum. A lot of todays Politics (together with an important % of the mainstream media) is like a firewall of noise, law and regulation (lack of) to further and protect powerful interests. -

Let's not be naive. The EU were never going to make it easy and give any country a gold-plated withdrawal, thus encouraging a queue to form. We are not being punished by Brussels, we are facing the natural and predictable consequences of a Leave vote. -

If there was more awareness of what drives politics and where it's going, just perhaps, the majority of people would get angry enough to do something about it.
